I bought two chairs from Homesense a week ago but later felt the chairs didnt match my kitchen. I went to this location to return the two chairs only to be turned down buy a sales associate saying the chairs were damaged. I also looked over the product and knowing I did not touch the product while in my care, I saw no damage but I noticed dust that the sales associate was referring too. The sales associate was considering dust as damage which sounds like an over exaggeration to me (chairs were black velvet so anything on it shows) She refused to take it back and I even escalated the situation to speak to the manager on duty named Lauren. Without looking at the receipt all she did was support her sales associate even though I told her it was a simple dust issue that could be wiped off. Over the next few days I did a quick 1 minute wipe with water and the dust was gone. Went to a different location to return the chairs. This time I had no issues and got my refund. This poor excuse of an interaction with the supervisor named Lauren has put a bad taste in my mouth with continuing to shop with Homesense.

Went to Buy lamp, I liked the one and I had taken the bulb to try in store as this lamp needed small bulbs, the employee helped me and I bought it

A ton of overpriced Cheap furniture.
The best thing about Homesense is their return policies.

You will always see hepful, energetic and smiling faces of employees, it is contagious in a good way.

Like with all of these discount stores, you can find a whole bunch of random stuff at a fairly good price. This location does a fairly good job at having some nice decor items in stock. The staff are great too.

Not much stock. I think people are buying lots of stuff for home because they're stuck at home.

Very disappointed by all ofbthe empty shelves. The only good thing is that the have hours tobgive their employees.

Nice selection of items. However, management can do better. All I simply did was look at an item that was already sold. I wanted to see if I can find the style code and possibly call around and see if it’s available anywhere else. The manager tells me it’s sold. I said I know, it’s nice and she continues to tell me that it’s sold. I felt like she was pushing me away. All she did was acknowledge that the item was sold and not the actual customer. Will not be visiting this location again.

Worst Homesense for customer service. We all (5) stand in line and wait and wait and wait. The cashier tells me that the guideline is 3 people in line for each cashier and there are 2 on. However there is one client with 2 full carts, clearly shopping to decorate a show home or something, and they must have 20+ big items.which all need to be wrapped, etc.at what point does common sense override guidelines? When I say something there isn’t even an apology until the very end when she says “I’m sorry if you think it’s wrong”. They sure know how to take the joy out of shopping at Homesense!

Lovely homesense with products coming in weekly! The store is generally organized and clean, easy to find unique pieces. It is difficult to find staff for assistance, would have to walk up and down the store to find anyone!

Ummm this is literally the best store that exists in Canada. I am addicted, I go every week. It's a sickness

It's just like the ads: come for 1 thing, find so much more! I spent about $100 saved over $200!

The whitby location seems to have more variety and quantity of items as compared to the ajax location.

Good variety but since products are not regular and hit and have a chance makes it sometimes frustrated

Good collection but poor customer care.
Asked for help for delivery of a table costing 300 dollars they gave some card for delivery and the guy does not respond. The front office they say we don’t have anything to do with delivery.
When they are putting posters in store ask us for delivery some one should help.

It's amazing, just like the commercial you go in for something and end up coming out with 10 other items you were not planning on buying

Awesome store for home goods, kitchen, bath, pet supplies, tea coffee. All types of furniture and furnishings, small kitchen electronics goods, vacuums. Staff is also very helpful and kind.

Big Sur, well laid out. Lots of different items to bring home. We found something that suited us and I was pleasantly surprised at the price.

My wife loves it here and comes by almost every weekend. A lot of interesting, unique, one-of-a-kind products, including an interesting assortment of candies and snack foods from around the world and unique decorations that you can't find anywhere else. Great place to go for gift shopping. The selection is always changing, which makes for an interesting shopping experience. There is something new everytime I go.

Great selection on variety of things. Some prices are very good. Pots and pans, dishes, decorations, bedroom stuff, bedsheets, cushions, living room couches, lamps, artificial plants.variety. Nice setup.
Decent selection on carpets at the back of the store.

Definitely one of my wife's favourite stores. She can spend hours in his store. Their unique items turn over very quickly and the store wisely changes their decor and displays weekly. We have bought some unique items here, including our leather coffee table.

Nice shop to purchase many different household things staff here was very friendly and didn't mind a quick little chat lots of stock to choose from with quality items

Always find something new and interesting at Homesense. Definitely need to come often otherwise you'll miss the ever-changing stock!

Found some interesting food products: James and teas, coffees I haven't seen in grocery stores. Prices were very good.

This was my first visit to a HomeSense in quite some time. The store was busy, well staffed and stocked. A great experience overall.
