Authentic Indian street food like Gujarat or Mumbai.if you want to taste best grilled sandwich or Indian style pizza I are at the right place. Team Kaliga recommends this place.

If I can give 0 for review. I would give. This people have so much space. Make people wait in queue. What kind of business service is this. We came out. And we went to another restaurant, Punjabi Haveli. More warm welcome

Food and customer service is worse in this restaurant. The restaurant is set to close 10 pm online and @9: 00 pm they start closing and mopping with bleach while people eating inside. This doesn't look professional to smell bleach while eating. Food is nothing but worse. The staff doesn't even know how to take order. Not trained properly. Not honest restaurant at all

The so called pav bhaji tastes bland with no flavours. You can't just mix any veggie and call it bhaji lol.

Not worth your money. They serve frozen naan, too much for being honest. Please come hydrated if you don’t want to pay for water.

Food wasn’t good at all. Tasteless. I garbaged the food. Rose shake was overly sweet.

We had a very horrible experience. Services was not finished in a timely manner. We ordered a mild bhaji paav however they gave us baby mild bhaji without informing us of this change and when we asked to change the bhaji they started arguing with me. Management was very poor, it's unprofessional business franchise.

Can you please do me a favor to explain this line

To give frozen naan just microwaved is not something expected from a dine in restaurant, and pav bhaji which is your specialty it was taste less

Making money under the fake name of policy that they are not giving tap water and selling water bottles to make more money. Should have the option of tap water and bottle water both in order if they have policy that no tap water or otherwsie no need to charge if they are having water bottle only. Ridiculous and worst management.

Worst chana puri, there was very bad smell of oil from puri. I told to one of the staff that there is smell coming from puri, even after telling him, he told us that its good there is no smell. Even they dont replace it or refund it. One of the bad experience ever. Will never visit again.

Honest is honestly very bad. No taste, quality. Price does not match with quantity. Very poor customer service.

Ordered Chinese Tray for My Colleagues, Quality And Presentation Was Up to The Mark Would Surely Recommend This Place To Everyone

Always the best. A guy who was helping out on the front for my pick-up was very friendly. We visit this place regularly; coming from Scarborough. Worth for Quality food.
We did dine-in too couple of time; serving staff is always ready to help.

I ordered and had took out Pav bhaji and spring dosa. The food taste like it's cooked from left over food. Secondly, they didn't care to look before giving left over onion which is not even stinky but even when we look at it it looks gross. I also ordered Kattapa Sandwitch and Fried Rice with Manchurian (Extra $2.49). The Sanswitch was good in taste.however, the chuteny was spoiled bad. I found hardly 4-5 splited Manchurian balls and it was dry and full of chopped garlic. Sometime you get good taste but if you want little bit of good quality or fresh, not recommended. Waste of money and will ruined your appetitie.

Disappointed! A note to the chef - please try the food from other restaurants first and then eat the dish you serve to your customers. Cooking a dish is more than just tossing the handy spices and vegetables in it.

Naam bade darshan chhote! Worst place for taste. Starter is served as desert at the end of the meal.

I visited here and bought indian style pizza, when i open the container it was way cold. I called the restaurant they said me we make pizza cold so that shredded cheese on the pizza doesnt get melt. Another one honest in brampton is good compared to this one. The cheese on the pizza should always be semi melted and everyone like pizza hot not the cold one.
Not my cup of tea to visit again here.

We ordered 8 plates of samosas and they asked us to wait for a while because they wanted to give us the fresh ones but after the long wait when I went in there, the worker said they are not ready and they were closing so he gave me 6 pieces from the old ones. And that's still okay with me but when we came home and started eating, we realized they are not fully cooked and we could taste the raw dough and the stuffing was also less. We have ordered samosas before from this restaurant but they were nice and full of stuffing. Very disappointed.

Name should be Dishonest Restaurant. Pay bhaji was pathetic. And way too overpriced. Please improve the taste. No complaints about COVID protocol and behaviour. Front staff was also good.

This is my favourite location and i always go for bahuvali sandwich but yesterday i got veggie thali that was really delicious.staff is also friendly.

Sorry guys for less star. I am really fan of honest from India. Really happening place with fun. Testy food that's what I remember. When I fund in Toronto I was so badly to go. And finally I visited. It's corona days and lockdown also. But it was great take out was avaliable. It was really great help at desk they explained everything very nice. After order they said 20 min. Wait. I was wait outside. After 20 min I go inside and I show there in kitchen nobody was wearing a mask. And I have see lots of people inside walking without mask. That's so hurt me. Like we are in middle of world crisis we have to do our role for stop this Covid-19. Sorry guys that wasn't cool. So please people see around before order there. Sefty First.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
I like their food options, taste is great.
I ordered through uber eats too, it was really good.
Try masala dosa, samosa chaat, manchurian and their dessert.

I visit this nice place from time to time! This is my favorite spot to eat. I visit this place at least once a month. The cooking is of high quality, the staff is courteous and the cost is good. I enjoy meeting in this spot to have a good dinner.

Good Instance Of Bad Service!

First of all, I have been to this restaurant many times and we also order many times online. In my last order, I made a mistake and forgot to tell them that I want everything without onion/garlic. After hanging up the phone, I called them back in just 13 minutes to ask if I could make any changes to my order. I had 4 dishes in my order and the manager said that my order is ready. Even though he gave me 30 minutes preparation time.
Let me tell you guys something more. I understood his situation so I asked the manager if he could give me just any one dish without onion/garlic, that would be fine for me and I would take all the rest dishes with onion/garlic as my friends were okay with that.
But, the manager said If you want one pav bhaji without onion/garlic then you would have to order a new one and you would have to take previous order fully as it was, we can't do anything and we can't help you in anyway. The manager said we have many costumers coming everyday like this. Are they all making this kind of mistake?

I know the mistake was mine. But even with a big restaurant and big staff if you can not make your costumer happy by altering just one dish
then, you surely serve as a great example of bad service.

Ordered bhaji and pulav for 15 guests, though ordered lite bhaji and pulav, it was spicy beyond anyone's gutts to even taste it. It was so so so spicy that our guests left without eating, so embarrassing moment for us. $130 in waste. Cant believe as this was 14th time in last 6 months we ordered at Honest. We added everything butter, Dahi but spice was extreme, no one could eat and all started complaining about burning stomach.

I celebrated my birthday today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a astonishing evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for this strong celebration. The stuff contributed in a pleasant manner, the food was yummy and my friends were so joyful. We shall definitely return for more events. Thank you very much.

Over the course of a few months of COVID life, we (as a family) have ordered from this location a few times. Here is my overall experience.

Service: 7/10.sometimes they pick up, sometimes they ask you to hold and the hold is around 10 minutes.

Food: 6/10. I think we as a family (and I'm sure a lot of other customers would've) have noticed a constant decrease in quality and the inconsistency in taste and spice level. Not sure what is happening there.

Menu: If you guys aren't going to offer 30% of the menu, please take those items of your permanent menu

Value/Price: 6/10 I believe that people here are willing to pay top dollar for a quality product that reminds them of home. The name of Honest brings a lot of memories for a lot of customers and that's why they go to the place. But it doesn't mean that the quantity should be decreased for the price we're paying. The last two times I noticed that they have basically halved the quantity of Pav Bhaji. I understand COVID has taken a toll on everyone, but when you charge top dollar for mediocre fast food, you gotta keep up the value. I might be alone in this boat, that's my honest opinion (no pun intended).

Worst restaurant in etobicoke, staff with attitude, bad food quality, half cooked, no hygiene, don't expect any politeness or respect from employer or employee. Deserve zero or negative rating reason why I am giving five star so all of you guys can avoid this place.

Food was so spicy and wasn't eaten by us. Specially paubhaji and pulav. We are existing customers of yours and having your food so long. However after complaining about the food, we got irresponsible answer from the owner. This is not good.you may have loosing your loyal customer.i would never prefer to go at this location.

Took takeout and really enjoyed the food.

I ordered a food on Uber eats from your restaurant and we received very poor quality food. I ordered masala idly, dosa and Hakka noodles. Masala idly was so pathetic as in only mustard seeds and masala not even 1 whole idly. Dosa was okey nd noodles was comparatively good. When I talked to your employee he said, it happens. When chef make 100 dishes so 1can be bad in that and even they took 1 hour to make this food, I received my order at 10: 30 at night. He offer me credits for next order. I told him, i am not going to come again so he was like it's up to you that you want to come next time or not. Even the restaurants employee don't know how to handle the situation.

They have great taste. Food quality is healthy and upto the mark. Only concern is the staff (waiters) need to be trained to be more hygienic (I saw one little kid droped fork on floor, the waitress came and put it back on the table near the child. This is unhygienic practice.) Food is great though but hygiene is the utmost important entity.

I was offered Kaju Anjeer shake by Sarab and she addressed my concerns really well. I went there with my friends and they liked the food they had ordered. Some great suggestions were made by attendants. I absolutely loved the service and felt welcomed on my very first visit.

I appreciate the service and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

If you are a vegeterian and love Indian food, your wait is over. I have been to this place twice, Once over weekend, Place was full and busy but all credit to the team and priyanka who was our hostess, they were all polite and with smiling faces, unlike some of their counterparts who have long faces over busy weekend. Nice Ambience and if you really want actual taste of Indian food, this is the place. Keep it up team HONEST. Will see you soon again

Amazing place to be. Nice ambience with tasteful food. I loved their chinese line of dishes. They have amazing pau bhaji too. The portions are a little small looking at the prices. Staff was helpful and very soft spoken. Will fully recommend this place!

Are your taste buds feeling nostalgic for the food you use to eat in India. Well don't let them suffer with that feeling and try "HONEST". The reviews are for their Etobicoke branch.

1) Parking - Plenty and free.

2) Tables and wait time - The Restaurant is quite small with respect to the popularity it has in its country of origin. So, no marks for table availability. Except that you have to wait if you go peak hours. However, once you place your order you don't wait much and they prepare it unexpectedly fast.

3) Quality-If you have been to the one in Ahmedabad, India. You are definitely not liking it as the standard is low compared to the original. But, it is still good food which will atleast give you a mixed feelings.

I tried their Grilled sandwich 7/10, Manchurian balls 8/10, cheese masala pav 5/10, pac bhaaji 7/10.4) Pricing- Straight and simple. Great pricing.

5) Customer service - To my surprise the best customer service I received so far in an Indian restaurant in Canada.

It is always a great experience to eat at Honest. I loved the new item they introduced "Dabang Dosa". It was preety tasty.

Worst experience i ever had, bhaji pav is test less no salt inside. We order spice but taste nasty no spices at all.
Same with the fried Rice, if you see the color fully look like white rice with some veggies and again no Taste, never expected this type of food from Honest Restaurant.

Finally a restaurant with a true authentic Indian taste. The taste honestly takes you back to India. The Pav bhaji is a must have and the best that I have tasted outside of India. Also, don't leave without having tried their Kaju Pistha and Ferro rocher shakes. The Kaju shake had the same taste as the ones you get at the falooda Lahris in India. We also ordered Dahi Puri and Masala Soda and both were above expectations. The soda is just like the one you get in India. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff on their menu. I'm so glad they opened this location.

Best place to have spicy and tipical Indian food in Toronto at reasonable cost. If you are carving for some dishes like cheese bhaji pav or like different types of original indian grilled sandwiches then its the best place to have that. You can also go for other options like south indian or desi Chinese, they also have lots options for snacks n quick bites. Even you can find a very good customer service and the employees were very helpful and supportive, they are so friendly that they will even help you in deciding menu and many more. According to my personal experience, when i ordered manchurian in honest they were very tasty n tangy bt i find them little bit raw, so when we complained them about that dish, instantly manager came to help us and he gave the solution by deducting the cost of product from our bill, even they promised us that from next time we would not be able to find same problem in that dish. So according to me its the best restro to vist n have ur dinner at affordable prices.

Loved it.although bit disappointed with masala pav (dry), might try pavbhaji masala pav next time. Vada pavs, Manchurian was good.looking forward to try signature Honest Pav bhaji and pulaav next time. Would definately recommend to go.

Good Food! We did Take Out and the food was ready for a while but the staff didn't even notice it was ready until we pointed it out 15 minutes later. They need more training. 10 staff members on the floor and only 12 guests but they still couldn't catch it. Food is good though

Wonderful ambience. Wonderful hospitality. Excellent food quality. Specially liked Jain Pav Bhaji. Owner and staff are so nice. Hope to keep coming this place. This location is far better than brampton. No doubt.

Finally the wait is over. We finally got a decent restaurant in Etobicoke but i just wish it should not be like Brampton’s Honest.

I liked the interior of the restaurant. The service was quick and people were very polite. The food was tasty and fresh.

We received warm welcome and staff was super friendly though there is a space of improvement in some areas like staff management.the staff was enough but they seemed to be in rush.serving order should be decided as we received munchureum and bill at the same time.

All these things are understandable as the place is new but 'Taste can not be compromised in any situation' as I found the taste was not as good as brampton branch.

I would definitely like to come again with expectation of better service and taste.
