Honey Boba

My favorite egg bubble waffles was closed and we searched for something else and found this place and we just had to try it. It was really good, just recommend them to fill the bubble waffles with some paste, either strawberries, red bean becaus the waffles are very dry without some filling and i don't know if they put eggs in the batter, but they should also add some eggs.

Oreo taro waffle is really good. Plus they have board games, card games and "Where's Waldo"!

Omg I ordered a raspberry slush from here! I was drinking it until a little blood worm fell onto my chest and I look in to discover very micro sized worms! Almost identical to raspberry piece very hard to tell! I drank half of this!

I been twice here:) it taste so good and fresh! The only thing il say is EVERYTIME I eat one of these 30mins or so after I get sick lol idk if the ice-cream isn’t fresh or if I am lactose intolerant! But either il still come back and get sick … it’s worth it lol

Got bubble tea and a bubble waffle. Service was excellent and the food was great. The ambiance left a little to be desired but other than that awesome.

At this point, I still don’t if I swallowed some.

My kids love this place.have to drive all the way downtown from Farrhaven just to buy a bubble tea.

The lady that served us was so pleasant to talk to. She explained all the types of drinks and flavors. She gave us samples of the jelly and pearls. Very delicious and highly recommend!

Our friends brought us to try Honey Boba and there is only one word to describe this place and the people: amazing!

We had the sherbert Taro flavour, mango milk tea, Taro Oreo, sherbert matcha… everything tasted great!

The owners are very nice and helpful. It was our first time and they gave us great suggestions and made us taste a few things.

Honey boba respect social distancing and the place was nice and clean.

That was a great little dessert after dinner!
Will definitely go back to try more of the flavours!

They have pretty good selection of bubble waffles. I got the Matcha one and the mystery (s'mores).

The staff were great, the service was fast, and the boba was amazing. I walked 30 minutes to this place because I wanted popping boba specifically, and I was not disappointed. Definitely recommend!

This is our favourite bubble tea place in Ottawa! We only ever go other places when Honey Boba is closed. It's small but really amazing!:)

Someone I am seeing took me here for my first time. There is an awesome selection of flavours, it's cute and bright inside, and the prices are good! My matcha tea latte was delicious!

This was my "after prom party" 8 years ago (when it was "My Sweet Tea"). My friends and I, dressed in our formal prom tuxes and gowns, spent our non partying time in a booth playing board games and drinking tea. To this day still one of the best memories of high school.

Such a cute space with games (obvs not right now bc of covid) and the staff are quite friendly.

Their prices are super reasonable and they have a variety of different choices. Especially compared to other shops here (where teas can go upwards of $9-10).

One little down side is that they dont deliver or pu (I'd rather support businesses directly than use UberEats/Skip bc they take a big chunk of their profits) but it's not that far from my house so not a huge deal.

I do also wish that they had non dairy milks/vegan options so I could give one of their milk teas a try.

Overall I would say one of the best hidden gems in Ottawa with fantastic bubble tea!:)

We live in the area and just started going here recently! Would definitely recommend for people to try rather than Chatime to help support local as their drinks are just as good, arguably better IMO! Super tasty all around drinks for summer days!

A very spacious venue, with a good menu. I've enjoyed many trips here with a group of friends as we played board games for an hour or two. Competitive pricing for the area.

Love their sherbets! I highly recommend them with passion fruit jellies. The staff are really friendly. During normal times, it's a nice place to hangout at – they even have a selection of board games. Their location is in a decent spot, and if you don't want to pay for parking, you've got the residential streets nearby. A wee bit pricey but definitely worth it!

Really good bubble tea options! They have ample seating and a decent selection of snack food and board games. Good place to spend an afternoon (in better times)

First time trying Honey Boba and the staff was super helpful and friendly! After mentioning I was new to the area the staff member serving me upgraded my drink at no cost. The bubble tea was delicious and high quality with a wide selection compared to other bubble tea chains. I'll definitely return - support local!

I love their Taro sherbert with tapioca! I personally think it's the best taro bubble tea in the city. Just be careful when on the stairs at this location. They are very steep and can be veeeeery slippery.

This is my favourite bubble tea place in Ottawa - since trying out this place, I refuse to go anywhere else! A wide variety of drinks to choose from, and if you’re like me and prefer popping bobas over pearls, this is one of the few great bubble tea places that also offers bobas. The bubble tea is refreshing and doesn’t taste too sugary, unlike some other places. Friendly staff as well. Please support local businesses like this gem instead of large chains!

This place is so good that I hesitate to review it, in fear that they will one day have the same horrendous lines you see at other bubble tea shops. This is the only bubble tea place that has popping bobas available on top of the pearls. If you've never had popping bobas in your tea you are missing out, and if you prefer anything else you're crazy! It takes me 10 minutes to decide what to get everytime I go in, simply because I love everything on their menu. It may not be as instagram worthy from the inside as some of the larger chains, but it's somewhere (before the pandemic) you could actually sit down in and have a conversation + the tea is 10x better. Help give this place the recognition it deserves.

Super cute little shop, with plenty of selection for drinks and a few snack food items on the menu! They also offer board games to play, and the tables/booths are super spacious

A surprisingly good selection of bubble tea for a small location, Honey Boba offers several different kinds of bubble tea. If you want to have a real taste treat, give their sherbet a try.

The flavors they use are high quality, and I have yet to have an order be made poorly. Occasionally requires a reminder of added ingredients, but that is more than understandable when someone asks for several additions, so I can't say I mind.

Seating is nice, but some of the tables and seats are wobbly, so please take note of that before being rough with them.

All in all, a good quality location that I find myself visiting when I am in or near Ottawa's China Town.

They brought us free tea to our workplace! Was just the pick me up we needed when working late, was so tasty! Thanks so much!

They have some interesting tea varieties and the person taking the order was friendly and suggested a lot of good tea combinations. I got the lychee chocolate mint latte (iced) and really enjoyed the way the tastes blended. We also got an almond salted caramel which was average. We saw that they have a lot of board and card games which u can take and play there or you can also rent them for just $2.

I was there on a Tuesday afternoon. As soon as I walk in the door, there was a strong aroma of perfume. There wasn't anyone there but a staff member. She was on a device waiting for customers. When I walked up, I asked for the price of an item and she just put it into the machine. While she was making the overpriced drink ($6.5 for lychee aloe fresh tea with Tapioca), I took a look around and the place looked like a wreck. The booth seats were all ripped and the board games were scattered everywhere. Back to bubble tea. When I got it and took a sip, I got a taste of overcooked bitter pearls. If that wasn't bitter enough, the "fresh tea" was also extremely bitter. It also advertised saying it had fresh diced fruit which it did not. There was the big jar aloe pieces in it. Which was another huge disappointed. I could've easily taken the bus to Chatime or CoCo nearby, which I know has friendly staff and quality drinks for a low price. I could go on and on though I have already wasted enough of your time. Thanks dr reading the entire thing.

One of the only places in Ottawa with Quality bubble tea. They have a lot of dairy free options and also include soy milk / almond milk to replace dairy.

It is a nice place to stop by in Ottawa's China Town. They have a rich menu of beverages but our favorites are by far their bubble teas with fruity flavor popping balls. My wife literally asks me to take her there every time we are around. The place does not offer parking space but you can normally find easily parking spots in the street.

They have good prices and you can play board games with friends! It's a fun place. The amount of tapioca pearls they serve is perfect.

Not sure what the renovation time was for but it looks the same and there seems to be less flavours to choose from?

Great bubble tea spot, highly recommend getting the green apple slush its excellent. If you happen to get served by a young man named Ipellie just know you got lucky. He always delivers the best quality service and drinks.

I've only tried it once but it was pretty good and well priced. The place could use an update but that doesn't really bother me
