Not a good experience. Nobody was available to help with most products tjat don't have an English translation on them

I didn't mind this place at first, wasn't special to begin with as other Chinese supermarkets are bigger, better and cleaner. But after recommending my mother here as she lives near by, and she went there to try it out, one of the staff there asked my mother "what she was doing there? " What kind of stupid question is that? Are you focused on getting money? Or focused on discriminating? Your staff need to be respectful and be more customer service oriented! Not this garbage talk.

Convenient location with lots of free parking. Store is large, clean and organized. Lots of variety of Asian food choices. The prices are reasonable. Good customer service!

Beware of getting fresh meat at this place. For beef flank last week, they charged us extra due to their scale saying it was 3.7 pounds. However when we measured with our own scale, it was 3.2 pounds. So their scales are fixed by a little to charge customers a bit more. The scale number was also partially obscured to prevent people from seeing the true weight. A very dishonest practice and we will not be coming back!

I can't complain about Hong Tai, the price is fair, the staff polite and ready to help with a small restaurant that I visit every chance I get.

Their staff are very rude. Extremely ignorant.
Take time to visit the fish tanks in the back, there is an eel that is stuck in the filter, when I brought it to their attention, I was dis-regarded.
The other tanks are filled beyond capacity, very cruel and inhumane for keeping live fish.

Price is OK, somewhat clean however there is a smell of a fish market from the moment you walk through the doors.

I waited for over 7 minutes at the meat counter and couldn't get help. I was the only customer waiting to get meat. All the meat staff was more concerned with packing up rather taking take of the customer.

They threw every food away when they find though foods doesn't feel right for sell from the producers. Even those foods still looks good to sell? !

They don't have the freshest produce and fruit and you need to use it soon. Please stay away from their bulk products since they could be 100% contaminated. They NEVER change the scoops and we complained many times. I have seen people touch that stuff. Stay safe!

Rude chinese female high school/college part time female cashiers at this store guys! Girl who served me has a very thick accent, she hasnt learned a lot of english since she got to canada but she sure learned how to give customers attitude, strange! Her bad attitude towards customers might work in china but it will never work here in canada since we have very high expectations of customer service!

Great selection of fresh produce at good prices. Expect to wait in line at registers and watch for the line cutters. Well worth it for the produce.

Always fresh produce. Prices are good but sometimes things are pricey compared to grocery stores. This place is better than the Food Basics close by!

Too many gmo produce items, average freshness of overall produce. Well displayed items. Nice variety. Not a fan of the smell tho. Fresh fish and meat counter. "not so fresh" tho, farmed fish.

The produce is extremely fresh and well priced. Many items are multi pack savings so if you're shopping for one it can be difficult to cash in on the extra savings.

Very Clean, have a good selection of items. I was able to find West Indian spices in the store which was great. They have a hot food counter, I purchased lunch (I work across the street) it was OK - American Chinese food if you enjoy food like that. The price of the hot food was great! I would definitely revisit and recommend.

Good but many times the staff do not smile and l think they are overworked or not happy working there.

All types of Chinese and south east Asian products available here. Collection of fruits vegetables meats biscuits are really awesome. Staffs are good and active

Parking in plaza is cumbersome. You have people who park in front of other cars once and awhile just to grab something from other stores

Good if you need asian ingredients for a recipe, but the vegetables are not always the freshest so cook the day after the latest.
Good deals on most stuff, but the smell in the butcher area in the back is awful.
Parking can be a nightmare, busy & it's a small lot.

Very good grocery store. Have been coming here for the past 13 years. Of course, that over the years the prices had increased. Mostly, I feel it on the meat. The beef looks like from a food magazine. I froze that meat for later use, took it out of freezer and it was looking exactly fresh, red like when I bought it.

More customers now, this doesn't bother me, great prices for veggies and fruits, their staff moves fast. Over all, you will get a good shopping experience, great prices and food, that lasts in your fridge and stays fresh even 2 or 3 weeks later.

This is a Chinese supermarket, rich in food and daily necessities, low price, good quality, is a good convenience store.

Do not buy their over-the-counter prepared dishes! They are NOT clean and may likely give you food poisoning! If you do choose to buy them, be sure to cook them abit in a stir fry to get rid of any e.coli or salmonella that may be lurking within.

They have a good variety of fresh produce, along with other healthy foods. They also feature different nuts on sale every week.

Most importantly, their staff is eager to help, courteous and friendly.

Super cheap, both in terms of price and quality. Staffs are not that friendly or helpful. Good for some strict budget shopping.

Bought a whole chicken and it's missing a thigh. Also bought milk that was spoiled. Try to exchange and owner refused. BUYER BEWARE

They have varieties of item. A little bit crowded but it's because of customers demand on their items. Fish are fresh, fruits are good quality, varieties of sauces and seasonings. Vegetables are also fresh. As this store is all the time loaded with customers, the goods sell out rapidly and thats why fresh foods come very often. They also have cooked food corner which is good for take out. Parking space is most of the time available.
Bottom line is it's a good store.

If you are looking for a good selection of Asian as well as Southeast Asian food, this is a place for exploration. It has the very distinct feel and smell of an Asian market, an experience in itself.

Good for vegetables and fruits also for chinese noodles and spices but kind of messy place. It could be more clean tidy

I shop here when I need Asian ingredients and fresh vegetables. They have a great seafood section as well with live fish, lobsters, mussels, etc.

Thenprices are definitely good and I would say they do a pretty good job of keeping the place clean.

Boo! She feels proud of her good business and also wants to own a business for her generation. She has a very good appetite. If you could not meet her any expectations, she would probably turn into your enemy immediately. Although she has become your enemy, she would still get along well with you on her appearance.

This Vietnamese/Chinese supermarket doesn't look like much from the outside but once you enter you will quickly become aware of the wide selection of fruits & vegetables. I have been shopping here for years, the food is fresh and store is clean, prices are acceptable. Great selection of instant noodles as well. Service staff look a little miserable & english is poor but line ups move fast. Plenty of parking outside. This used to be a Dominion Grocery store back in the 70's & 80's.

An okay place to get your grocers, but dont expect the employees to be fluent in English. After all, it is a Chinese supermarket. The place is also not very clean.
