Great Indian restaurant in Riverside South! Have had many entrees from this location and all have been delicious! Went for lunch and had the non-veg thali and it was great! The curries were delicious. Served with fresh naan! Highly recommend!

Ordered a lamb Josh Rogan and rice and it’s not the same taste as the one in the east end of town. Disappointed with the food at the Limebank location

My second time enjoying the food from Host India. First experience was dine-in with great service and delicious food!

️Got mild for everything listed below and it was still a good amount/lots of spice for us!

Decided to get takeout this time and these were the dishes and my review:
Butter chicken - sweeter than most butter chickens, but good 8/10
Alloo tikki chaat - a chickpea dish, SO delicious 10/10
Lamb biriyani + yogurt - even mild is so spicy, but so good! 9/10
Gobhi aloo - cauliflower and potato vegetable dish, so good! 9/10
Garlic naans - 1 naan each is plenty, very big, but so yummy! 10/10
Murgh Kali Mirch - 9/10 for my husband, he loved the flavour), 6/10 for me (found it less exciting than other dishes, one of the more spicy ones even for mild)

Love this restaurant and the food they put out is top tier. Can’t wait to eat here again!

This was my first time trying Host India. We arrived right when they opened so service was a bit slow to start. But it was expected. The restaurant inside is very nice but our table was very sticky for some reason. The restaurant appeared to be run by family. The two younger servers did not look very professional in my opinion wearing baggy branded clothing. The presentation of food however was nice with a variety of Indian cuisine in each small metal dish. The naan bread was very good. The butter chicken was just alright. The rest was just alright. It was a good amount of food for one person. The samosas were very large. I heard there is a new chef running the kitchen so I’m not sure if it used to be better but from what I tasted that day I would not go back - there are other Indian restaurants I prefer in Ottawa.

I went with the family to dine-in and the least I can say that it’s the best Indian Cuisine and taste in Ottawa and Chef Ravi is amazing and came to us to make sure everything is well and we’re happy. Highly recommend location.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and always have good experience. The portions are generous and food is delicious.

The food is really amazing with authentic Indian taste and amazing service beet place for Indian food.

First time visit. "Sample" dinner dine in only was very good and filling. For the option wife chose butter chicken while I went spicy with the Vindaloo. Due to the amount of takeout we agree this is excellent food. Definitely will be back.

Tried the lunch time non-veg platter. It was amazing - homemade and tasty. It is economical as well. Must try

This is my second visit and found problem twice with service. First time we were eating and waitress asked us to pay while eating food because there were closing the restaurant and to close the system. We gave feedback to owner but he doesn’t care as arguing in favour of waitress.

Second visit wherein we give some instructions that we want one dish early and have number. They didn’t care and after hour we asked for our dish they packed everything and said we forgot. It seems they don’t care for their clients and just serving them unprofessionally

Worst ever possible service at this restaurant. And guess what this is not the first time, last time we already had a terrible experience but we thought we should give them a second chance but I guess it was not worth it. They need to change their customer service or close the restaurant period!

North Indian fine cuisine with plenty of options for vegetarians. The portions are generous and the food quantity has improved. The service is excellent, the staff is hardworking. We had kofta, paneer, okra, eggplant bharta, samosas, aloo tiki, lasi and chai

Ordered take out and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and the quality was amazing. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Best Chicken Madras I have ever tasted. It was incredible, we couldn't stop eating it. The chicken was very moist, the sauce was to die for, it was just the right amount of spice. Just delicious!

It was a pleasant experience. The food was very delicious. They provide complimentary Naan or Rice with any main course dish you order but the pricing is off the roof.

Just had a order of chicken Tika Masala with Nann and spiced rice, it was FANTASTIC! Some of the best Indian food I've ever had, it showed up and also was very hot! A+

Best Indian food I have had. At first, I had take away, and was blown away. A few months later, we were grateful to have a dinner here, and it was even better in person. The location and restaurant layout gives guests a warm welcoming when arriving. Will most definitely be back!

We've been living in Manotick for a few years and are sorry we haven't tried this restaurant before. Portions were good, flavour was wonderful and the delivery service was excellent. The website ordering is cumbersome and deleted my order a few times before I finally gave up and phoned, which is what I should have done in the first place. After that the experience was smooth and delicious. Thanks.

Daaaaaamn! I was blown away by how delicious this was! I ordered the butter chicken and the chicken was incredibly tender! The sauce was delicious and the best part about all of it was that the serving was so big that I have a ton left over for tomorrow’s lunch!
Really surprised I’ve been missing out on such an awesome spot that’s so close to home. Can’t wait to try all the dishes. 5 stars all the way!

Awesome Indian food! Enormous naan. The sauces are fantastic and the samosas were huge as well. Everything very nicely spiced! Loved it.
