Hot Star Large Fried Chicken

It’s too slow. You have to wait half an hour to eat a chicken steak. Are you going to incubate the eggs on site and then raise the chicks before frying them?
The taste is okay

I came here to buy chicken steaks at 1 o'clock on Saturday. When I came in, there was no one in the store. After waiting for about 2 minutes, a clerk came out. He must have gone to the bathroom. I ordered two large chicken steaks and asked how long it would take to cook them. 15-20 minutes? Okay, I'll go next door to buy some groceries. It took 15 minutes, but when I came back, it was still not healedI waited another 5 minutes, and those who came later than me were healed, but mine was not healed yetI finally waited for 28 minutes. A bad experience.

I love both their original chicken and the cheese chicken. The cheese chicken is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I also get the sweet potato and mushroom amazing as well. My regular go to fried chicken place. But i would advise everyone that since they make everything fresh to order the wait time is longer, but food is just WORTH IT.

Hot star is a franchise so the taste is pretty consistent each time we ordered there, however wait time is pretty long and the service especially is pretty rude.

Cashier Tried to rip me off, messed up both of my friends order, one friend waited 45 mins for 3 pieces of chicken to be made, and were not allowed to use the public washroom after spending well over 60$ in the establishment. Will not be be back and felt very disrespected.

I have visited this place 4 times now as of today (Dec. 25th Christmas!) In the past, I tried the snack items on the menu (popcorn chicken - salt and pepper and the fried oyster mushrooms).

I decided today to take a leap and try their Original Chicken which was XXL size. I did takeout (covid reasons) and brought it home. It still was really good, nice and tender and with a crisp, even when I brought it home. It was perfect!

I give this place 4 stars because I found it to be a bit costly.
Visited today and service was good; the person at the counter was helpful, nice and.

Highly recommended. The place was clean, neat and well lit.

Absolutely delicious grapefruit mojito, chicken is well seasoned but do not like cut, fries are good, bathroom is thin but long, weird experience, wouldn't mind coming back

I went there again a few days ago, and the food is still delicious. I recommend the new chicken tenders, the seaweed flavor is the best. The service has improved a lot, and now the sister at the front desk is very gentle

I had been wanting to try this place for a while so I finally ordered the Korean style chicken wings which come in a sweet delicious sauce. The chicken was so tender but the outside of the wing was so deliciously crunchy. I can’t wait to come back and try more items off the menu. The service was really friendly.

Deep Fried Chicken wings are extraterrestrial over here! Easy to fall addict. Super tasty and it feels healthy. Recommend

Precaution: You should not eat at this place if if you don’t want to taste Toronto’s best fried chicken!
