Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital

I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy the lack of compassion empathy respect and care my mom got while she was there was really sickening. All the nurses if you want to call them that aren’t there to help they are there for the pay check. If I can go back I would never have put my mom there. They abused my mom in the sense that they ignored her didn’t help when she called and didn’t feed her when she needed to be fed. Instead they decide to sedate her to keep her quiet. I will never forget the night I unexpectedly dropped in to see her her food in front of her and the empty glazed look in her eyes. I voiced my concerns to the nurse in charge and the doctor there and all they do was she’s old. The rehabilitation part of the hospital was great they did what they could for mom which we will always be grateful for. Please find an alternate hospital to put your loved one in I don’t want another family to go through what my family had to go through.
