Food is okay. To me it doesn't taste fresh (the potatoes in particular). The donair is the best choice imo. Friendly staff.

Amazing service! Shard is an extremely kind, personable and efficient chef! My friends and I stopped by on our way to Montreal from Toronto. This is the best service I have ever had at a shawarma place. Massive portions and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this spot for shawarma, and the fine gentleman working there.

I always get the donair poutine. They have the best I have tried in Kingston so far. Its $17.99 for the large which gets me 2-2.5 meals.

Doesn't beat east side Shawarma from cornwall though.

Always chill, even when busy. Orders are great and despite having moved quite a distance away, I will always do my damnedest to get a donair from here before I have to go

This place is a staple when I'm in the area. I always get too much food when I'm there because I want a little of everything. The shawarma plate makes for a great dinner after a long day.

Chicken Shawarma are definitely my go to at House of Donair. Loved the taste and the staff make the wraps amazing. Would just suggest if more sauce options were available. Overall I would say good food and great customer service.

I was fooled by so many good reviews, it is my first time here but one of the first donair experience ever. The service was extremely slow even we were the only customer at the store.
Donair taste is not bad but it was very cold and felafel was not tasty and not even close to a real felafel taste.
May be I am here just at the wrong time but you should be careful to eat here if you do not want to waste your money.

Consistently some of the best chicken shawarma I’ve had and make sure to come by for a bite when I’m in Kingston

Disgusting. Charged us double (3 doners @16 each but were charged 110CAD. Moreover, sandwiches were wet, falling apart and not even near to a Doner taste-all went to garbage and left rubbish aftertaste that spoilt a feeling of a long weekend and failed all the good impression about Kingston experience. What a disrespect!

House of donair has come a long way, I've noticed recently that their produce is fresh and clean. Their sauces look new.

Had a problem with my delivery order and these guys went above and beyond to make it right. The food and service are both fantastic. Love the donair poutine with sweet sauce.

The potatoes were not fresh nor crispy at all, and there was very little veggies beside the dish! Donair was so thick and hard (I think it was very stale!). I feel like I had some kind of food poisoning!

Service was excellent and garlic sauce is spot on, but the potatoes were not at all crispy and the donair has a hot-dog like taste.

Honestly, if you go to either of the locations downtown, you will have the best Donair of your life. I have been getting Donairs from this place since they opened and they are fantastic. I was thrilled when I found out they were going to open a west end location, as I live in the west end and it would save me a 1/2 hour drive to get Donair. Unfortunately, I have been to the west end location twice now and was not impressed. I'm not sure if it was the employee I encountered or if the west end is taking liberties with how the Donairs are prepared. Both times, the tomatoes were in big chunks (think a quarter of a tomato each piece). If this was the only issue, I would not be writing a review but again unfortunately this is not. The meat was shaved off but never hit the flat top, the pita was never steamed and it wasn't wrapped properly. In fact, I don't think the grill was even on. It's too bad, I hope this is sorted out for the future, like I said, this is my favorite company to get Donairs from but for now I will stick to the downtown locations.

Tried for first time Feb 25. Wow. Great portions, lots of topping selection and incredible flavor with fair prices. Will definitely be back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Why are your employees closing at 2: 24am. I came for one night to Kingston, wanted to enjoy donair. They worked said no to me through the window when the time on the door says they close at 3am.

The freshness, the flavours are top number 1.
This donair poutine was mouth watering start to finish. The garlic sauce is made with perfection and no after breath no big bite. The sweet sauce is like no other. This place blasts any place around gauranteed. Thanks was truly great til the last bite.
