A small plant shop with lots of unique and curated items. Their prices seem a little above average, but the plants are all very healthy and in great condition. The staff is very knowledgeable about care requirements for the plants they sell. Their selection is also quite curated I would say.

All around, a hidden gem.

The shop is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, and the plants are beautiful, healthy, and very well loved. After my first visit I can honestly say I won't be going elsewhere for my plants again!

Judie has a great variety of plants! I live an hour south of her shop…so there’s always a delay with my pickup. The plants are always as incredible as the customer service! Thank you!

House of Plants was such a great experience. I haven't been to many plant stores, but their staff are by far the most inviting, friendly and knowledgeable that I have encountered. They could definitely tell we were new plant parents and made sure to set us up for success for our new plants. They were patient and informed us the needs of the plants such as, feeling how the soil should feel before watering, recommending the proper soil, when we should repot, and they also gave us a free nursery pot for repotting. They really went out of their way to make us feel prepared. I highly recommend any new plant parents to come visit House of Plants. I will definitely be coming back:)

She goes out of her way to learn about the environment that the plants will be in, give customers great recommendations, make sure her customers have all the resources needed and are educated about the plants that they purchase. Beautiful little shop with friendly and helpful staff. From plants to pots and fertilizer, my healthiest plants are from this shop! My office is an oasis with gorgeous luscious plants. I also want to note that many plants from other Ottawa shops had pests that actually infected some of my plants or came in poor condition and I’d have to nurse them back to health…but I’ve never dealt with that purchasing plants from here. Returning customer soon for my ZZ Raven:)

This is definitely not a florist, so much more than that! There are so many types of plants for different purposes, even pet friendly ones!

The owner, Judie, is a true plant lady with her extensive knowledge about plants. She asks specific questions about where her customers plan to place the plants and gives tips about lighting or how to better take care of the particular plant (s).

The House of Plants is definitely a go to place for any plant-related need, highly recommended.

I ordered plants online from them for the first time, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Plants were gorgeous, were delivered right to my door quickly, and were packaged well. I can’t wait to visit there in person one day.

House of Plants is the BEST plant shop I’ve ever been to! The owner is lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. She always picks out beautiful plants that I love, and knows which pots are perfect for it! There’s a great selection of different types of plants—something for everyone! I can’t recommend this shop enough! It’s my favourite place to go (for myself and for gifts—you’ll find the perfect plant to suit the recipient) and I always leave beyond satisfied, happy, and in admiration of my new plant! <3

Had this shop go above and beyond on my birthday and it made me so happy. Added a new plant to the family, it was a purchase full of little hiccups (entirely coincidence and outside factors) and the shop had a solution for everything to make sure I got the plant I wanted for my 30th and That really, really made my day. Plus the plant is GORGEOUS and well established and vibrant, and in my check over for any unwanted pests didn’t spot a thing, and I am thorough!

I’ll likely never buy plants anywhere else now. Just a big smile on my face all day because of their effort they absolutely did not need to go to!

I have been using House of Plants for years for all my plant needs. I've always felt welcome and well informed on my purchases. Im into carnivorous plants and so far i've been able to get asian pitchers, trumpet pitchers, venus fly traps, and soon to be sundews! I would recommend House of Plants as i have used them for years.

I cannot say enough great things about this store. Not only is the store filled with beautiful, reasonably priced plants (and such a huge assortment) but the customer service is outstanding. Judie possibly one of the most wonderful you will meet and her team are just as great, I recommend HoP to everyone I meet!

I love this place! Full of gorgeous varieties of plants, there's something for everyone from easy to care for to more rare varieties. They're always something new to see. I personally like ordering ahead for pickup but you can drop by as well, the folks working there are great at helping you find whatever you're looking for and offering care tips.

Lovely shop! Never disappoints. I don't think I've ever walked out empty handed. The plants are great and the owner is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to tell you about the plants you are contemplating.

Our go-to place for house plants and great service! Judie's super knowledgeable and helped us find a lovely gift for my mom's birthday - mom absolutely loved the string of turtles, pearls and ruby necklace plants we scooped up here! The pothos she recommended (pictured) was the perfect fit for a couple of serial plant killers like us - can't believe that I'm saying this but it's actually thriving under our care after a month. Went to pick up my two online orders. Once ordered it was ready in less than an hour! Honestly I was happy about the plant I've ordered. When I went to pick up, I've met the owner and she is so welcoming and very nice. She even gave me a Ficus Tineke as a gift for her first year anniversary. It was my first time there and surely not my last time!

I recently lost a heritage plant that I've had for over 40 years. After searching and searching, without results or ridiculously price, I found the plant I wanted at House of Plants. I ordered after hours on a Saturday, got a call on Sunday and the plant was delivered on Monday!
My Arrow Head plant (Syngonium Green Star) arrived in a recyclable bag and is vibrant and healthy.

I love this shop! Fantastic quality & a large variety of plants, pots, & excellent plant advice. I have been ordering from House of Plants for over a year, I have never been disappointed or received anything damaged, in fact the complete opposite. Everything is carefully packed & extreme attention to detail is obvious. I have purchased several plants including Red emerald philodendron, Cissus Discolour, Black Velvet Alocasia, to name a few. This shop is a plant lovers dream! Exceptional customer service, Canada wide shipping and constant restocks of new plants.

I've had one amazing experience after another with House of Plants and proprietor Judie. All orders placed by myself (and by a friend of mine) have come in pristine and healthy shape and have kept their lustre over the several weeks we've had them.

But more than that - Judie is ever available to explain plant care, to match pots to plants and to sort out shipping details.

In sum - sh'e's a model of customer service and truly has the best plants around!
