Howard Johnson by Wyndham Gravenhurst

A couple of weeks ago I needed to stay for 5 days, i have stayed at a Howard Johnson in Florida it was an awesome stay, not the same as Gravenhurst room was a little dirty for being a h.j I thought it would of been a better stay.

Rooms are fairly updated. Pretty sad continental breakfast. Definitely room for improvement.

Great location with great service. However, breakfast options could be improved. Very limited option with white bread and oats.

The location was great, room was very clean but the beds are very small. We had thought we got queen then when we saw thought maybe double. The bed felt like just a bit larger then a single bed. However it was clean the staff was friendly, and a small breakfast selection.

Decided to try this place again for its low price despite my original review below. My friend ended up getting bed bugs on one the first night and they tried to say it was beetles that bit him. This place should not be operating.

Stayed 3 days/2 nights with a group (rented 4-5 rooms)
Currently going on day 3 with no room service done yet. Got towels dropped off and that's it. Internet is at minimum speed. Their breakfast is virtually non existent, bagels/bread and cheap coffee. Rooms are very very basic (feels like from the 1970s), lack of outlets, no where to plug my laptop.
They have a TV but the quality is horrible, analog at best.their 'gym' consist of a room with 2 treadmills.would not recommend.

Cheep place to stay, nothing fancy but the towels were clean and the bed’s weren’t bad … you get what you pay for & this place is inexpensive but not a bad deal

Good place to stay. Had what we needed and fast check in. Would stay here again if I came back to this area.

Truly 5 stars for amazing service, no nonsense hotel, great location and great value for money

Rooms have mould and mildew. Hide it with paint and bleech. Cable sucks. Wifi always not working. Terrible plywood floors. Can hear all the noise from loud guests staying above you if your in the basement or ground level.

I give this place 5-stars based on what I was looking for vs. How the place was advertised and delivered. It’s a basic hotel, no bells/whistles but the location is great, room was clean, service excellent, and very affordable - just what we needed. 2 adults and 3 kids and we all had a good sleep and were refreshed for the next day. Continental breakfast was simple but included and the kids were happy. Would definitely stay again.

The room is not cleaned well at all, there is dank musty. However the front office service is very attentive. Breakfast spread is minimal. The whole place smelled chemical and old.

Rooms are decent, the staff is polite and professional. Parking lot is quite large with room to sit outside, and the location is great, right near the highway and not far from town.

Best value for money. Great location, clean rooms, really friendly staff that actually try to help you have a great stay. You gotta stay here:)

Stayed here for 2 days. Arrived at 8pm Sunday and arrived to a empty front desk. Waited for what felt like forever then started yelling for someone to help. Finally a little Asian woman popped her head through the window and saw me. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The hallways have a very weird smell. The biggest complaint is the breakfast. It's pretty much non-existent but they have the worst breakfast I have seen that is considered having one to serve. It consisted of bread slices, 5 sesame bagels (2 the next day), corn flakes and frosted flakes. Some coffee and juice. Just a complete joke and I feel it's just to list they have free breakfast to get those people looking for that to be included. There were only a few guests in the whole hotel when I was there and I see why.
