Good location, good service. Had to change rooms because the toilet wouldn't flush, sinks were clogged. Got to the next room and everything was fine except the door wouldn't lock lol.

Please do not go here. Harpreet, the property's manager is violent and aggressive with customers. Attempted to defraud credit card information. The $250 is a scam, just read the other reviews below. Same guy. Refused to solve the dispute even with police present. This is a dangerous location for you and your money. Be warned police are likely in on it since they did nothing to assist.

Bad location, rundown neighborhood and very noisy at night. Breakfast is not actually included. The bathroom is old and in bad condition.

May not be in the greatest part of town but a good location if you don't mind a short walk to the waterfront.

Yes I stayed at room 118 kingston ontario.on sat nov 26th checked out the sunday.they told me my deposit would be returned to me by Tuesday or Wednesday. I called Thursday because it didnt come back.i asked for a room out of the way because i was in town to visit so id be out late with friends drinking.they gave me a room with a broken toilet chain so it wouldnt flush.someone had a bloody nose so i cleaned it to the best of my ability left all the towels in the tub so wouldnt get in the way.i got a noise complaint when 2 other rooms were partying and came and joined our room for a drink before leaving.as well as number of illicit activities going on in other rooms i observed.not to mention the washer and dryer of the facility is against my room thudding and making noise all night so even if i wasnt celebriting and wanting to sleep i couldnt of.it was so bad the floor vibrated. Ive used them before with no issues but I will never be using Howard Johnson again returning or recommending also going to leave negative reviews.thank you

This 5 star review is for the lovley young man at the front desk on Nov 12 2022! Looked after and was very kind to two young offspring fans and their mom! The hotel itself is in a great location and did the trick! Probably not somewhere to honeymoon.

We booked this hotel because it seemed reasonably priced at 180 a night. The outside looked pretty run down but we were optimistic. Upon entering our room we quickly realized that we could not stay here. The carpet was dirty and sticky with nail clippings on the floor, dust everywhere, dirty drawers and the table had something wet that was spilled on it. Even though we prepaid and could not get a refund, we left and stayed somewhere else. I don’t know this hotel rated a 4.3.

I complained about it the GM named Harpreet, pretended not to see the marks on my skin.there is no accountability in this place.avoid this place, this place should just shut down, they only want your money!

I found bed bugs in my bed! There was also trash everywhere! I don't recommend this hotel! But the tea was good atleast

The front desk clerk was very nice and super friendly. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was a little small but overall a great choice gor an overnight stay. I would stay here again.

La chambre était propre et le lit confortable. C'est assez grand. Problème avec la toilette, l'air climatisé était fonctionnel, mais bruillante et mal situé. (Devant le lit.)

Déjeuner avec très peu de choix, mais très bon. (Biscuits ou croissant). Offre des bouteilles d'eaux.

De l'extérieur, l'édifice semble en piètre état.mais le service client était super gentil!:)

Mais assez cher.pour une chambre. Incluant que certains hôtels offrent de meilleurs services.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and we loved it. We had a great time. Staff was amazing, they were so kind and professional. And one of the receptionists recommenced us a local bar that we love to this day and continue to visit. Rooms were impressively clean and were “modern” yet simple.we were VERY impressed with our stay here and will be re-booking whenever we stay in Kingston.

The hotel itself is nice and clean. It's professionnelly run and has a first class sports bar and off track betting place on site. It's the surounding area that really brings like is ur car going to be safe. Or am i going to get robbed by someone that might live close by. There is a building right beside it that is not very clean and has alot of undesirable people there. The owner doesn't even care enough to put out rat traps or pick up the garbage.
