Howards Pawn Shop

Came into this store already embarrassed because pawning something to make ends meet is new to me.
I came in with my gold chain which is worth around 4K (scrap price) they tested it 2 girls who work there said it good but I would have to wait for a manager… 15 minutes later “the manager “ comes out and asks me why I’m pawning it so I felt obligated to explain my situation to her… only for her to say that it was fake and she couldn’t do anything for me.when I asked about the test I was met with a slew of names… never the less I left, went to Crown pawn, boutique, and jewellery on Rideau st and not only did they take it, but gave me a lower interest rate smiles with a great experience. Needless to say, don’t do business with these people super bad experience.

Just spoke to the women there. Very unprofessional: (. She did not like that I did not want to continue our discussion about selling my stuff that I worked hard for, at a reasonable price I might had. Just hung up on me. Sad to hear treat people this way, specially now a days. Oh well. Not everyone is made to deal with the public. Good luck with your business anyways.

Lol I've never forced anyone. Just the fact that you will not admit your wrong doing (hanging up on a customer because you did not like me saying I would not tell you about my other items I had for sale) is pretty scary. Good luck in your future endeavors.

I bought a xbox controller from them it didn't work when I returned it the exchanged with no issues
