I have been blessed to collaborate with Eiffel for years and he has always amazed me with his professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency on my taxes.

Would be giving 5 Stars if it weren’t for the pricey fee. It was a little pricier then I’m use to for income taxes, but overall I Had a great experience with Eiffel. He was kind and very helpful. He was very accommodating and extremely efficient and flexible. I would most definitely recommend H & R block based on the service that Eiffel provided. Thank you again!

Have been going to H&R for a few years now to do taxes and the customer service has always been ok. However, reading about this location and specifically Eiffel Wu’s fine work, I had to give it a shot.

His attention to detail, thorough explanation and having the attitude of WANTING to help made my most recent visit the best. People can do a job, yes, but wanting to do the best job? Not often seen. For that reason, I would highly recommend this location and again, specifically Eiffel; great guy, friendly, gets the job done. Won’t be disappointed.

I read many reviews of this location and in particular Eiffel. I made an appointment specifically with him and like the other said he was amazing! He found many areas where I had missed in previous years when I had done my taxes on my own and he explained everything to me in full thoroughly where I could understand it all easily! This H&R Block is the best in the city. I have been their client for over 6 years and hoping to be for the years to come. I'd highly recommend Eiffel as a Tax Specialist - this was my first year on a WFH setting and he was able to explain to me the complexities behind it and how to best maximize my return now that I have other expenses! Eiffel Wu has been a great asset to me in preparing my tax returns. His expertise in tax matters and his willingness to go the extra mile to make sure that all your questions are answered promptly was an important factor in me selecting him to do my taxes.

My latest experience with Eiffel Wu at H&R Block was as a result of his great work completing my personal tax return last year. I found Eiffel to be very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I initially tried to used a free tax preparation web service an ended up in a quagmire. My personal situation isn't that complicated, however I very soon realized I didn't know what I was doing. I was very concerned I'd make a mistake and then CRA would be all over me. Eiffel worked through my return, explaining everything he did and why. Most fortunately for me, he found some deductions I was entitled to that I never knew about. His approach for my 2020 return was similar. I highly recommend Eiffel and will use his services again.

Eiffel Wu - very professional, excellent tax preparation advice. Even answered on his day off to my email question. First experience was with 2019 tax preparation, just finished 2020 and Eiffel did not disappoint!

Never again. We dropped by for paper drop off, had to wait in line because the only employee was having a chat with another customer. Not even work related. We were not even welcomed or even acknowledged and we were not communicated in any way. Horrible service.

We do our tax through H&R every year. This year somehow we were not able to do it online and decided to visit the nearest branch (yonge and Eglinton). The receptionist (Lady with somewhat blonde hair) was downright rude from the time we entered. She did not have an answer to any basic question we asked. I am not sure why she was there if she is so clueless about basic questions. Such people tarnish the image of the brand. I hope she is given some training on how to deal with custom. Poor experience, disappointed to the core.

Would not recommend this place to anyone, especially new residents to Canada. These people will charge you exorbitant fees then become rude when asked what you are being charged for.

After filing with them, I did my own research and discovered that they had charged me FIVE TIMES the amount of another accounting firm. The front desk lady was also very rude and condescending when I asked to speak with the person who did my taxes.

I am seeking action with the Better Business Bureau for price gouging but I implore anyone to ask for prices UPFRONT and to question lump fees; especially if your case is fairly straightforward (as I was told mine was).

I saw Eiffel Wu on Saturday, who actually completed my return for me the same day! He is extremely professional, efficient and friendly - and very knowledgeable to any questions I had. I would recommend him without hesitation for his expertise, and hopefully he will still be there next year at tax time. A 10/10 experience for me.

Spoke to the lady at the desk, was promised a call back within a day with no response. Called Marcus he gave me a time frame for three days, hopefully this will not turn into five weeks with a different answer everytime.

It's very surprising as Adrianne from the Gerrard square location of HNR completely simplified everything and called back within a day last time I worked with HNR.

I would advise anyone stay away from this location as they make false claims.

Service at the 2460 Yonge St office was excellent. Eiffel was very detailed with explanations and I will definitely return to this office for 2021.

Horrible service. They say no time no wait, just drop off your papers. I waited 15 minutes inside and there were 2 people sitting on the counter i was not even acknowledged or told to wait. A lady was sitting on the counter a guy was supposedly serving a customer but he was for 15 minutes chatting with a friend talking life stories and common friends. I have been doing my taxes with HR block for years at many branches, always had excellent experience. This branch is unfortunately the worse

I used H&R Block to file my 2016,2017,2018 and 2019 tax returns last year. I am a recent graduate (2019) and this was my first year filing taxes.

The CRA sent a notice to my account in December 2020 which was directed to H&R Block requesting that I provide documentation to claim my eligible tuition paid for the year within 30 days of the notice.

I was out of the country at this time and was not using my Canadian number. Upon returning to Canada, I found that H&R Block only attempted to contact me ONCE! Not even a SINGLE EMAIL was sent to notify me of this letter and the deadline to provide this information.

This is not the service I expect for a price of $100 per return.

As such, the CRA reassessed my 2017 return and restated my tuition paid to $0. This will reduce my refund on my current 2020 return by over $5,000 and I was required to manually refile my 2017 return to make up for H&R Block's incompetence

Its safe to say that I will never be using H&R Block again.

I’ve had my tax return done here, by Mr. Eiffel Wu, for three years running. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient - I highly recommend him!

I filled my taxes with H&R block they are very professional and responsive. I was served by Eiffel, who answered my endless questions patiently and professionally, he was very friendly and cooperative, he also helped me to adjust my submission after a month when I realized there was a missing T4 form. I totally recommend them.

During the current situation with Covid-19, I was stressing out about doing my taxes. I called the closest HR Block at Yonge and Eglinton and Eiffel Wu answered the phone. I went over my current situation and he was really easy to talk to and reassuring that the process would be easy. I had an option of dropping off my paperwork or sending them to him electronically. He was responsive and friendly and left a positive impression. I ended up filing my taxes with ease and will definitely recommend Eiffel Wu and HR Block to my friends.

Waited 2 hours for them to tell us their systems were down and theres nothing they could do he was very rude and inconsiderate of how long we waited told me i should have found another place. They charge $50 last year at this location, i walked to yonge and Gerrard and paid $19.

The one star is only for the tax specialist that did a good job, the rest: receptionist needs costumer service training, price is very expensive.

I go to this office every year and I have yet to have a negative experience filing my taxes. This year, in particular I was extremely satisfied and happy with the assistance I received from my tax expert, Mahtab, and the kindness of the staff at the front desk.

1. Very knowledgeable and experienced staff helped me with filing my taxes. Very accurate and fast service.

2. The first impression was spoiled because of the front desk receptionist. The lady was absolutely rude and unprofessional.

But overall experience was good.

The absolute worst customer service experience I’ve had. Unfortunately the actual tax preparers may be more professional than the client-facing receptionist, she was very rude, unprofessional and unfriendly. From the looks of the reviews I’m clearly not the first person complaining about it, not sure what’s going on in the branch and why such poor service is being overlooked.

The bad reviews about this place are true, unfortunately. My advice is to avoid this place. I walked into this location and the receptionist completely ignored me for 30 minutes. I called her for support and she came in with strange tone asking if I didn't notice the "closed sign" at the door. There were no signs indicating the store was closed, the door was unlocked, and to make things worse the website not only allowed me to book an appointment, but it also assigned me a tax expert and sent me daily reminders. See attached for proof. Again, I recommend avoiding this place and spending your money elsewhere. My first and last experience with H&R block.
