The person that did my taxes. She seemed okay wasn't really talkative or welcoming at all. If you're dealing with a client at least have some people skills. Second, I paid 190+ bucks to get my taxes done. That just seems enormously big just to do taxes. Overpriced in my opinion.

I came back to Dipalee for the second time. I would highly recommend her services. She was thorough and asked me many questions to get the best outcome. I will definitely continue to do my taxes with her.

I'm only giving 1 star because it's too expensive. They wanted $200 to do my taxes which included a t4 and rental income. I found an accountant that did it for $75. Even TurboTax does it for $40 if you're willing to do it yourself. Overpriced!

Today I came in to file my taxes and had a great experience. I met with Dipalee who was extremely helpful. She was very thorough and answered all my questions clearly to ensure I understood everything. I 100% recommend Dipalee to anybody who comes into H&R block.

I called this location today to talk about a letter i received from CRA for my father’s income and to setup an appointment to discuss it. I was very rudely spoken to by an employee named Lionel.he was very curt and dismissive. I expect better from H and R block for clients who are with them since last 8 years.

I was eventually helped by a front desk where someone helped me explaining about the letter and next steps.

I brought a family members income taxes in a week & a half before the deadline and was told it would need to be handled by a U. S.expert as they are currently living in the U. S. 2 weeks later not having heard back from anyone I decided to stop by to enquire into the matter, I was ignored for a good 15 min then finally someone came to speak to me when I asked about the income taxes they basically had to check every room some several times to locate the file which hadn’t even been touched yet. After giving them a piece of my mind they assured me that it would be done the following day, it wasn’t. They ended up contacting my family member to let them know they were unable to file them. Now we’ll past the deadline the family member had to scramble online to find someone capable of doing them. That is unacceptable from a professional organization, if they had taken the time to look at the documentation when the file was dropped off I would have had time to take them elsewhere rather than leaving my family member scrambling. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone, extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with their service.

My experience with the USA tax preparer was the worst, when you file, the tax preparer suppose to get the most out of your refund and give you assessment about your filing.but this man (Michael) shows that he doesn't even have a heart beat, please sir consider retirement.

Filed my taxes with Lionel this year, he was great and super helpful. Was very knowledgeable and helped me get through everything as easily and quickly as possible. Definitely will be coming back next year.

Pathetic service
I had called in for an in person appointment a day before.
When i reached there, he didnt even listen to me and what my issue was. Just gave me his card to call him. Yeah right i drove all the way to get your number so i can talk to you over phone. Amazing!

Update: just to let the public know, no once contacted me from their office as they had responded that they will. Not that i would go to them ever again. I was able to file my taxes with another service provider. But wanted to give an update on this that their response is exactly what it is. Mere response and no action!

Regular customer of H&R Matheson Blvd, Raj Khanna my accountant is knowledgeable, professional and knows his job, spend time with you and asks all the papers to get you maximum refund. Best place for tax filing.

Workers so nice. Especially Lionel. I had 10 years of taxes to do and he made sure I got all tax credits and I understood what he was doing

These Accountants are simply the best! You won’t get better customer service and patience anywhere else. I have come back every year for the past 6 years!

Natalie Tatnoweckyj provided me with superb service. I have been with H&R block in the past and I've never recieved the knowledge about what each tax line means or the potential risks and how I can avoid them. I also enjoyed how interactive she is as I met with her once and had to come back due to a missing form I have not yet recieved and she called me by my name and remembered me which is a very warming experience considering the volume of clients they have.

Just wanted to say that Natalie Tarnoweckyj was amazing today. She helped me out and educated me on so many things. Very patient and great customer service skills. I would definitely recommend to do your taxes through her

Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Raj Khanna was the person who helped me and he was so kind and helpful. I had to bring my children with me to this appointment so he did his best to make things as quick as possible. The secretary area was super friendly as well. Thank you all. I’ll be back for sure.

Visited H&R 801 at Matheson today. I give them 5 stars! Natalie was the best. Quick and straight to the point. Gave me some great financial advice as well. Would come again next year!

Inexperienced, over expensive & irresponsible
I did my canada tax and USA cross border tax with them (Michael) in this location and my lesson learned never ever ever ever go to them.
1. They did not know how to file tax with state (Massachusetts) so they billed me for learning and then doing my taxes and that too incorrectly. Me & my husband paid $1000+ as fees to them for federal and state tax filing of USA. We got penalized by state and federal govt for incorrect tax calculations.
2. I requested /followed up with Michael months after months so that he files my USA tax on time but he kept delaying and mostly didn’t even return my calls. Utterly unprofessional. Eventually I filed late & got penalty notice from IRS.
I wish I did with someone else.

Having had a previously negative experience with my taxes many years ago, I got in the habit of not filing. I felt extremely embarrassed as I was many years overdue and missing some info. The staff at the Mavis location were wonderful and kind. They reassured me they could help and that this weight off my back would soon be lifted. My tax expert was definitely looking for my best interest all the way through and provided explanations throughout. I will always do my taxes with the Mavis H & R block staff!

My god does it pain me to write reviews. I will not go out of my way to write a review unless I feel like the business deserves a poor review in which case this is the second time coming to H&R block and the second time I've wasted half my day tryna do taxes. Thanks H&R you guys seriously piss me off.

First time to fill a full year return. Service was good. Can do better to inquire more on other areas someone wants to file for tax Eg medical expenses, etc.

No manners or courteousness.very rude. Unbelievable. Really shocked a civilized country like Canada allows this type of behavior. Zero Stars. Please think twice and learn yourself how to file taxes.
