H&R Block

DO YOUR TAXES ANYWHERE BUT HERE. I've never had good experience with H&R block but this location was hands down the worst. I did my taxes last year with them and it took 2 hours to do because the tax "expert" needed help from other employees every step of the way. What should have been a straight forward tax return (I don't have anything complicated to file) was a nightmare where he literally had to stop 5 times because he didn't know what he was doing. It was such a bad experience I opted to do my own taxes this year - which took 20 minutes and absolutely no problems. However my 2017 taxes were reassessed this year so I was forced to deal with these "experts" again. I didn't think it could get worse than last year, but they managed to be even more clueless. I was promised they would look into the problem and get back to me before the payment deadline so I wasn't charged more interest, and of course they didn't. I had to follow up myself with them, and it became clear that not only did they not look into my reassessment, but the entire office had no clue what was going on. I was passed around between employees, each more clueless than the last and all they did was try to explain why I was being reassessed, which I already knew because there was a breakdown of it in my reassessment notice. The only reason I even finally got it settled was because I was relentless with following up with them and in the end they decided the reassessment was not a fault of H&R block somehow so it was a total waste of time to even try to get their help. Don't waste your money to get an "expert" to do your taxes here - they even admitted to me that the man who did my taxes last year should not be working for them at all because he doesn't know what he's doing. How can you trust your money and your taxes in the hands of a company who isn't even confident in their own employees THEY HIRE?

A great service overall! Super-friendly, very positive environment. Tax season can be stressful for most, so that factor is important to me. My tax lady, Mahfuza, was very sweet. Knowledgeable. Took her time to properly file the few years I had to do. Explained everything as we went along. It was stress-free, time efficient. The best tax experience yet! Will be seeing them again next year.

It’s our 3rd time in this location with Ms Sally Eroy, she’s very accommodating and helpful she really knows her job very well. She will give you some advices and information regarding CRA matters if you have queries.my husband and I will definitely return and will surely refer this location.

I went to H&R block today and did my taxes with Mahfuza Haque and she was excellent. This was my first time doing my tax returns and she explained everything to me very clearly. I highly recommend coming and doing your taxes with her. I will be coming back next year.

I have a real professional and successful experience of Tax return with Mahfuza Haque of H&R block. She has done a wonderful job, with my case, it was a complex case, and she solved it very efficiently. I am very happy to have tax return done with her, surely I will keep it up with her, for next years to come. And will also refer my friends to her, for their jobs done too.

The sign on the door said they opened at 9: 00AM and no one showed up until 10: 00AM. My appointment was supposed to start at 10 and I had no where to wait. The Representative Adele Testa did not even show up on time. No one was there to help me. After I complained to corporate, I had to explain my situation twice, and they only offered me 50% off my return. Ridiculous, HR block is never getting my business and I will do everything I can to make sure everyone I know does not go there.

Location is very convenient plus employees are really professional. Been on this tax experts since I came in Canada. Thank you Rosalie Eroy for doing my tax for me. You are awesome!

I recently completely my tax returns at this location and the person that helped me out was Mahfuza Haque. She was great! I appreciated her taking the time to go through my complicated file and help me understand everything that is going on while also doing her utmost best to help me out. She was splendid! I will most definitely recommend her to my friends and family!

Amazing! When i entered i was greeted by two welcoming faces. Mahfuza Haque was a very professional and polite tax professional. Really recommend this location to anyone who wants to file their taxes. My tax filing was so easy and fast. Im very satisfied with the services this location provides.
