Kind of a difficult to deal with. Their policies are very strict. Ex. If I want a mortgage they will assist me even though I'm NOT a client with HSBC, yet if I want to buy or cell foreign currency, they won't look at me

Very pathetic. Gadda the gal who had to open up account was rude. No customer service skills. Had appt. Made faces saying call center gave her 1.5h. To add wife into joint account said needed another hour. Refused service saying she had another client an hour later who I doubt would be catered too. Manager was nasty too. Bank had no client as it's filled with attitude. Give it zero stars.

Carol was super helpful. She understood my need and was able to resolve my banking inquiry extreme fast. Amazing!

Waiting for ever. They all left the counters and I have been waiting for more than 1 hour. I will not keep my account with them. Worst customer service ever. They should go learn how other banks deal with their customers.

Staff is very cooperative and polite. Depending upon the time of the day, sometimes it may take longer to get to the teller. Overall it’s pleasant experience.

The Rep forgot to send my ID for investment account application, causing lots of delays and calls to fix it. Very unprofessional!

Tried to deposit $10,000 cash for my Mom's funeral expenses. They said I needed to provide proof of how I got that money. The money was from my Dad collected over time. They then asked for proof from my Dad on how he got the money which was not possible since he got that money as gifts from other family members. So I asked if they could deposit $9000 instead or allow me to do multiple deposits. They refused. I left upset and I walked over to my other bank CIBC and they had no issues taking my deposit. I asked them about HSBC's policy and they were dumbfounded. Thank you HSBC for making me feel like a criminal.
