Very rude, unhelpful and most unprofessional bank teller I have met in my existence JENNY AU!
Dont waste your time with hsbc.

Applied for a mastercard online, then did my in person verification here. They have no clue about the promotion online. It appears the in store branch and the online head office don't communicate with each other, and they are using a 30 year old system. They eventually lost my file and yet my credit report was pulled. Branch will tell you to call telephone banking, telephone banking will tell you to call the branch. Waste of time.

They just waste people’s time. Just acting like this is Hong Kong. They always asked you to sign two times. When you ask them a question they just act stupid just like born today
Ones I wanted to get a direct deposit form, I was asked to wait because the manager is not there.
I also bank with TD Canada Trust. The best you can get. I was a fool opening an account at non Canadian bank. Will close this account as soon as possible.

I booked 2 appointments to open a new account at this branch.

I went there, the advisor never showed up.after waiting for 30 mins, someone came and told me to book a new appointments again if I still need their service.
They also never called me to reschedule.
I wish I have 0.5 stars to rate.
Terrible services.

Just called them to find about their welcome bonus for opening an account with them. The agent on the other side had very little knowledge and instead I had to inform him about the criteria for this promotion which I read off their site. Looks like very little training is going into their employees or they are not hiring the right staff.

Clover Yan was so helpful and professional when I was opening a bank account! Highly recommend both her and hsbc to bank with!

Professional Staff, very busy center though. Clover and Shirley were great, had my new account going in an hour, helped me even though it was past their work hours and bank had closed!

Customer service is very rude and unhelpful, went there to ask about a letter I got from the HO out of nowhere, the teller told me something that just doesn't make sense. Tried to ask a few more questions, the manager Sherry pulled me aside and told the teller to take care of the next customer. Thought she's gonna help me so continued with my questions, and she's like oh I can't check anything (then why pull me aside?). I don't even know if the problem is or will be solved, the information they gave me are confusing and conflicting, the manager Sherry just said she'll look into it (hopefully) and told me to leave, really made the wrong decision to become a client of HSBC
