Don't even bother dealing with these elitist capitalists. I reached out to Noor Qazi for a mortgage. This "specialist" had no clue what she was doing and it was so above her pay grade that she ended up just ghosting me through the mortgage application. No follow up contact for weeks. Maybe if she didn't waste so much time setting up her onlyfans page she could be better at her job.

I wish I can give them 0 stars, I was requesting to transfer my money to my bank account which has been taken 3 weeks since my request form sent then the funds disappear with no transfer for 2 weeks. No one knows where is the money and they kept me waiting for no explanation where’s the funds has transferred. I called them more than 20 times with telling me they didn’t know where is it. Someone at their department transferred the money to someone else. It’s Unprofessional and frustrating experience. Stay away

I can't speak any poorer of my experience with HSBC. Lost all my money. Not because I did poorly in the markets, I would have made money, but because HSBC decided to liquidate my holdings without even attempting to contact me to cover "inactivity fees" on the account. I guess it's my mistake for not selling and buying at unfavourable exchanges. My biggest mistake is choosing HSBC Investdirect at all! Invest with them at your own risk. Worst experience with a bank in my life! Switching to Wealthsimple who are at least more upfront.

I’ve never experienced before what HSBC Direct Invest have been doing with their customers. First of all, there is no one to answer the phone even after long hours of hold eg. 2 hours to 5 hours. It seems to be a fake phone line. In addition, they are making changes to transactions for their benefits. They are so unethical that they don’t even care about their customers anymore. If they cannot attend customer phone why they are running this business. The ruin total customer experience with such worse practices.

I have been calling them in different day different time for almost 20 hours in total waiting in the automated message.no one picked up the phone at all as if no one is at work.
I am on the phone waiting still while i am typing this review.

I tried to call investdirect to reset the trading pin. Even though I tried more than 50 hours on different days, I still could not get connected. Most of the time the get disconnected automatically after 2 to 3 hours. I wonder if they really have people answering the calls.

Extremely poor customer service. Called for four hours and no one picked up. Emailed for two weeks and no one replied. It's like yall don't exist or sth. Like it's one simple question and yall cant even get back for two weeks.

I’ve been unable to contact anyone from invest direct since Jan 03,2021. The wait times prior in 2020 were bad, but at least you could get through to someone with up to 1 hour wait time. I’ve waited an accumulated 10+ on the phone within the last week and still unable to get through to a rep over the phone. General line transfers me back to the same bs invest direct department, and waiting for hours until the call gets cut off. In store staff tell me I have to call due to different departments. This is without doubt the WORST way to invest out of all the banking options available. What other bank makes you wait 6 hours without a rep connecting. Taking all my funds and assets out of hsbc tomorrow to switch banks. Hsbc can thank this useless invest direct department for losing customers.

Literally waited 6 hours on the line with nobody pick up the phone, honestly HSBC is one of the worse bank to deal with when it comes to investment! Outdated system with little to none customer support!

Since I opened this HSBC trading account last year. When I like to contact for help on phone service, there're waiting time "Forever! " Since to now, I can't even talk to any reprecentative up to today! I strongly recommand DO NOT oepn this HSBC InvestDirect trading account or you'll be regerted!

I placed five calls to HSBC Investdirect customer service in the last three days at different times during and after trading hours. No agent was available to take my calls. The first call I waited 3.5 hours before giving up. The other four calls I gave up after an average of 2 hours. The empirical data clearly indicates that HSBC Investdirect has no respect for its customers and the company is running with no rudders.
If HSBC Investdirect cannot fix its problems soon, I will have no choice but to transfer my money to some place else.

Very long call centre wait time. Positions transfer out of HSBC also takes forever and is subject to intentional delay by the broker.
