As long as Brandon was our account manager we have had nothing but a great experience. Sadly not anymore. I sold my commercial vehicle and cancelled my policy and Im still being debited for a cancelled policy 60 days later not once but twice. I'm so frustrated as its tedious having to follow up for a refund again and again.

I had to leave several messages over 2 weeks and I still haven't received a return call to make changes to my policy. I get cheaper rates due to group rate, for the second start.

I was introduced by a college to a HUB international. Broker by the name Omoni Kayode was given quotes for my car and home insurance. It looked less cheaper then wat I was paying to my current insurance. Once I agreed and final email was sent to me I almost fainted. Not only that broker was laying but he was doing that seams to me not legal process what so ever. There was amount that was given to me with the dates of dedication plus dedication for 3 months plus monthly payment. It was more then $ 800 upfront. That was lot more then I was paying to my current insurance. Who would agreed on something like that. Is that even legal to defraud people like that and try to hide a final print.
This deserves a attention from Bureau of Canada and this person should be dismissed from the job unless this is company's policy if works it fine if doesn't who cares.

I have been a satisfied client with HUB/Intact Insurance for 25 years. Jennifer Smerek was extremely helpful and efficient in revising our auto coverage for my husband's upcoming retirement. Our fence blew down during a wind storm a few years ago and there was no delay in processing our claim and having a new fence installed.

I'm a long time customer of HUB over 10 years. I had an infuriating experience recently. My monthly payment is withdrawn through my credit card automatically. My insurance company did not withdraw last September's payment with no reason. I did nothing wrong. And they withdrew the payment in last October with additional $100 late fee. I contacted my broker. He told me that there was some mistake in his side. He promised to reimburse the $100 late fee. However, nothing happened until now. It has passed overr 4 months from then. They always repeat "Wait more. " I'm very upset about this company. It is dishonest. It is a swindler. I advise against connecting this company.

With my previous insurer, I’d wait hours to talk to someone and get nowhere with them.

I placed my two policies with help from HUB, experience is fantastic. Overall, it is definitely a good place to buy insurance!

As others have noted, if they act as your broker and you need to make any change to your policy be aware that they do not pick up their phone. My mother and I have been calling for weeks and no-answer. Typically after an hour or so you are disconnected!

I have been an auto insurance and property insurance client of Hub for decades. Rarely have to call in. Changing address this week, I have been left on hold for hours. No one has called me back after leaving my number on the system on four different dates. Left a message with receptionist and no call back. Left a message on Hub's Facebook messenger and got a note that they are going to call me back. Zero contact. There is no way to get hold of this broker.

Stay away from these folks. They have no customer service.

Edit: thank you Nadia for reaching out, she had handled my complaint so well and connected me with Mazen who helped me greatly and have great advice, ill for sure be dealing with hub international again, thank you again Nadia and the team!

I use to deal with Ramen who was absolutely phenomenal, she helped me to get insurance at such a reasonable price, because of my suspension I couldn't renew and now that I call to get a new quote, im continuously directed to Sarah who is apparently never at her desk, left her messages to get a quote, and up till today I have still not get a call back. This is absolutely ridiculous because I do want to get my car on the road and wish Ramen was there instead. Absolutely terrible experience now. Thanks Sarah for finding me "insurance".

Sarah Brown is professional and very friendly. She was able to find us the best price when it came to our home and auto insurance which saved us a lot of money. She is quick to respond and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend dealing with Sarah if you want great customer service!

I call at the Oakville office to get a quote for my car insurance and receptionist was so rude and not helpful at all. The time i called was 10: 50 am on Dec 31,2020.

If I could have rated it lower I would have. I had my policy here for about 15 years and now they will not even call me back. I started calling and leaving messages in September and have yet to hear back. Very poor service, if you have a problem it looks like they would leave you on your own.

Called to change address for my tenant insurance. Tried calling leaving voicemails and emails. Also called my agent and left voice mail. No reply. Finally called head office to cancel my Tennent insurance because once again I was unhappy with their services. I also canceled my car insurance with them last year. I don't recommend anyone to use this company.

Oh and I'm with insurance hero now for my car and Tennent insurance. Ask for Derrick McDonald.

Hub was fine for a few years although my broker was never the same person when I would contact them again, and this has become increasingly frustrating as this means voicemails and emails hang in the ether and aren't attended to. I've been trying to reach someone for over a week to cancel my insurance as I've sold my car, and can't get through. So they took another payment out and there's nothing I can do other than leave messages in the general voicemail box, which haven't been returned.

My experience with HUB International was amazing! Sarah Brown was able to help me find an auto insurance at a much lower rate than my previous policy. She was so friendly and very quick to reply when I had a question regarding the policy. I am so happy with my experience and her professionalism during this whole process. I would definitely recommend HUB International to anyone looking for a new insurance broker.

Terrible customer service
expect to wait 1.5 hours to add a vehicle to your policy
expect no one to answer your emails/return your calls
expect long wait times on hold no matter what the service you need, and while waiting on hold expect the call to randomly drop with no recourse.
UNBELIEVABLE! I will be cancelling my policy as soon as it renews!
This is the worst insurance company ive ever dealt with!
I cant imagine what would happen if i actually needed to file a claim and i was roadside!

Manager Cheryl does not return calls, what do you have to do to get a hold of someone?

I usually don't write reviews but wanted to show my gratitude. My experience with Hub has been great, thanks to Nicolene. I really don't have the time to wait for someone to pick up. I usually send her an email and she calls me right back.

She is very knowledgeable and I can always leave my questions and concerns with her and trust it will be taken care of. My wife has sent her several emails after hours and she usually responds.

I was had in my first accident and i was very impressed the way my agent handled all my questions includuing my claim. Sandra Valente was absolutely professional with speedy replies. She pointed me into the right direction and went the extra mile to see that i was satisfied. I was very impressed. Communication was on point. I am definitely not going anywhere

Update to your reply: left a voicemail on number supplied same day and 2 days later STILL NO CALL BACK. Incredible how you preach about having good customer service and can’t even return a phone call. The service provided has been absolutely atrocious! Come renewal I will be finding a new broker - the HUB doesn’t deserve my business! Look at the reviews under mine, funny how SO many people complain about the subpar service HUB supplies!

I sold my home over a year ago and they refuse to cancel my policy, I have contacted them numerous times and provided all required information asked for, and they continue to charge me monthly! This is criminal. Worst insurance company ever.

Tried to reach a broker for a car insurance quote for two days and kept getting passed around and leaving voicemails. Thoroughly unimpressed with this experience. Can’t say I got bad customer service because I wasn’t actually able to talk to someone.

I bought a new car and needed insurance quickly to be able to take it off the lot,
Mr. Omoni helped me immensely and I had proof of insurance within the day. Very thankful for his help!
