Hubert's Fireplace Consultation + Design

Great customer service from the owner Jodie. I was looking for a propane fireplace that they didn't carry, not only did she arrange to order it for me but she also beat 3 competitors on price! She answered countless emails (most after hours) and provided me with fantastic customer service. No wonder Hubert's have been in business for 100 years. Thanks again Jodie.

Contacted Hubert fireplaces to request a quote to install gas fireplace insert in old wood fireplace. Lady that answered the phone couldn't have been bothered, and wasn't interested at all. If it was my business I would have been appalled with that type of customer service in the front line where there is a direct link to sales. Got the impression I would have to work incredibly hard to get any kind of attention as a paying customer. Why bother, will put my money some place else.

Wanted to rework an existing fireplace.from their website: "Our in-house staff’s talent and experience enable Hubert’s to reface your existing fireplace using choices such as drywall, ceramic & porcelain tile along with many other materials. Freshening up your existing fireplace with a reface will change the entire dynamic of your space. " - emailed enquiry, put on waitlist and then followed up to ask for this service, they apparently don't provide this service and was told this was not something that they do. So very strange.

Amazing experience from start to finish with this long established Ottawa-based company. A freestanding gas stove install involved the removal of a built in and line reconfiguration. Sales manager, Kim, is gift - patient, solution focused and highly responsive. Kudos to Jodie and her team of professionals.

My husband and I live in a small 780 sq foot cottage in Sault Ste Marie and had been looking at different fireplaces here in the area for a year. All were trying to sell us high end huge fireplaces but my husband and I thought that those would be too much heat for us for this little place.
I went to Ottawa for a couple of weeks and stopped in at Hubert's to have a look at their beautiful new showroom to see what types of fireplaces they would have. The showroom was so warm, inviting and each fireplace was set up as if you were in a room. I could actally visualize what it would be like in our cottage. I saw one that I thought would be perfect and after speaking with Jodie and Kim who were incredibly knowledgeable I knew I had found the perfect one. It was just the right size and BTU'S for our little piece of heaven on Lake Superior.
Jodie made it all happen for us. A month later my husband drove to Ottawa and they loaded up the well packaged and secured the unit onto his pickup and sent a very happy husband on his way.
We couldn't be happier and grateful to the staff at Hubert's for helping us make it all happen and keeping us warm this winter up in the Great White North.

The finishings around the fireplaces in the new Hubert's showroom are simply gorgeous! I'm so glad I visited - the pictures don't do it justice!
