This place was an absolute nightmare as they were setting up for their holiday festivities. No one knew what was going on or even seemed prepared. Hudson Bay has really fallen off. Super disappointed
I visited this store today as I wanted to check out the bedding selection. During browsing, I had an asthma attack and needed some privacy to use my puffer. A wonderful woman named Michelle (manager of this store) came up to my partner asking if I was okay, needed water, needed a more private space & if there was anything she could do to provide me a more comfortable experience while in the store. This meant the world to me, as people aren’t usually kind towards these health needs in my experience. Michelle made the experience beyond enjoyable and easy and I am so appreciative for her care. Most small appliances are not priced. Thus section is a disaster and unorganized. Shoes are all over the place and sock section is almost nonexistent. Lots of changes for the worse What happened to their beautiful bedding and towel section?
I had the best experience today at this bay location. The location I used to go has absolutely horrible customer service. I was pleasantly surprised that the employee helping me (khatool) went above and beyond to find the items I was trying to locate. I found everything I was looking for plus a few things she recommended. Keep up the amazing work.
Staff is so rude and they dnt know how to deal with customers while u talking they walked away and they changed their statements evey mintue. Worst service ever
I am giving 2 starts to this store because their staff are not helpful at all. Went there to get something from the kitchen section and when I was waiting at the cashiers a lady took more than 20 min to process a transaction. They tried many times, at the end i didnt buy anything because it was just taking too long for a simple task. Besides, the cashier was so grumpy
I recently came to shop here and was on the hunt for this beautiful coat. I had to mention the customer service I have received from Cynthia was amazing. She really went above and beyond - it was super refreshing to have been greeted with such service. Thank you so much for all your help!
This Hudson Bay for some odd reason doesn't seems to.be big one with lots of variety and brand, went there to buy shoes and very disappointed to see only very small portion for shoes section with very limited options
This store is over staffed but there is no staff to get help when required. You wander around without any help and are directed to different sections just to get a staff to help you. Very poor shopping experience.
As a plus size person I actually found this really frustrating. There is no separation from "regular" sizing. I can appreciate the thought of non division, however, I had to spend approximately 5X the amount of time going through EVERY rack to only find that there is no plus size available. Out of 30 racks of clothing there were only 2 racks that catered to my size. I still had to go through ALL 30! A huge amount of time must be invested just to locate suitable sizes. I would much rather just go to a section where I know that I can find something as opposed to feeling frustrated and left out! I did find a jacket that I love but, I could have done it much faster had it been separated from all the other jackets.
Well.good old Bay.good to come for Christmas shopping too.quality of goods are ok. Price depend on what items.but still kind of reasonable.not too many old company like Bay around anymore.all gone with the wind.like Eaton Simpson. Zeller.so had the come to support once in a while
We went to look at prices for suitcases, and even with the 60% off they were way overpriced. That did not bring us down because we ran into our favorite staff member in the perfume department! She is so knowledgeable and welcoming We are sure to return next week to stock up on the great deals for cologne and perfume items.
This particular visit was good. Didn't find everything I needed but the store had a lot of good deals and I got a couple of things for a very good price.
Cassandra in the perfume section was amazing. She was helpful and Personal in helping us decide. She is truly a jewel, that gave best customer service. We truly are grateful to Cassandra.
Terrible service! Ordered 3 items. 1 item showed up and the other 2 items got lost in the warehouse! After explaining my order hasn't come for a week the insisted to wait another 48 hours because the shipper has my package. I got fed up and after a week I called tforce the shipping company to find out my package never arrived. I called Hudson Bay back and they apologized and said my order will be packed again and shipped immediately. That same day I got an email stating I was being refunded and it will take a billing cycle to receive my refund! This is absolutely horrible costumer service. They say constantly they understand but clearly don't. As a customer who has been going to the bay since forever, I won't ever purchase online again. In store maybe but not for a long time after my experience.
Well the name is known to all. A place for high end fashion items and cosmetics. The prices during sale season become very decent and recommended for deal hunters.
Huge store with almost no value to offer. A big giant that doesn’t seem to be catching up with the new world. The space could be much better utilized and certainly the staff they hire could be be better trained and be more presentable
Very bad customer service. The lady working in returns section don’t know how to talk with customers and even the manager as well. Very bad experience.
I was very disappointed to find out that The Bay does not honour the scanning code of practice. I picked up some towels that were on sale branded Calvin Klein but when the salesperson ring them through they ran them through at the regular price. I told her they were on sale and she said they were scanning in not on sale. She sent someone to go find out if they were on sale and I waited and I waited and I waited and finally I got fed up waiting and I went to find them myself and take a picture of the sale sign. I found them and took a picture of the sale sign and then ran into the person that was sent to go confirm if they were on sale. I asked her if the bay honoured the scanning code of practice and she told me no. Be very very very careful with The Bay not scanning the price in properly and then not even taking any ownership for doing that wrong, which is what the scanning code of practice is for.
Disappointing customer service. No one around to check your purchases out. When you find someone they advise they can’t help with that brand. That’s ok there are many other stores in the mall willing to take my money.
Excellent customer service yesterday, 16/06/21, around 5: 30pm at first cash for a returning item, also at Chanel counter at Square One store. First time in the store and I’m very impressed. Thank you!:)
Very disappointed in the customer service at the men's shoe section, I wouldn't even give this store a one star. Went shopping for men's dress shoes, these were to be worn on the day of my sister's engagement however, the employee gave me 2 DIFFERENT sizes! One 8 and one 9.5. It was a disaster and so embarrassing finding out that my brother in law to be couldn't wear them on his engagement due to the mess up. This is not the first time where the employees mess up, it has happened many times and its time to call them out on it. -_-
I had a great experience at the cosmetic Dept of Georgio Armani, the associate Priya was extremely helpful, she was patience and knowledgeable, I had an enjoyable time, I highly recommend.
This is a great department store I usually visit. There are varieties for men, wemon or children. I would make it 5 stars if they carry more high end brand name commodities.
Don't expect any sample of perfumes.those sales persons are way cheap to provide you samples, which usually all companies provide to their customers. We are very upset, perfumes are very expensive and you can’t try all of them at one time coz after trying three four perfumes your nose doesn’t have sense to try another one. They should know that.
Hudson bay has been always one of finest stores, This location does't carry major brands but it has sales most of the time.
If you are looking for men shoes, dress up clothing you don't have a lot of options at this location consider square one.lots of parking and usually it's not busy.
Went to NARS cosmetics. Their staff is friendly and helpful. I'm happy with the purchase and will buy from there again soon. A little pricey but definitely worth your money and I recommend shopping from them.
It was a long wait today. The staff you had on cash was doing some exchange and seem not to know what she was doing. Hence that caused a long line up for the other cashier. In fact my cashier was constantly interrupted and she in turn forgot to remove the tag off one of the items bought causing the alarm to go off as I was exiting the store. I beckon to another staffer who told me to go back to the very busy cashier. I refused as she could have removed the tag. I ended up leaving as I know I didn't steal anything so if the cops came after me I had my receipts still do. I found the service at Square One first floor horrible. And very unfriendly.
Deceptive marketing techniques! This is at least the second time that I have gone to the cash register the find out that what I want to buy is excluded from the sale. There were numerous signs stating 50% off. I assume that the exclusions were in very small print!
Everything in this store is overpriced. I can find the items in other stores for a better price. I suggest you to go to other stores and save our money
A vast range of products and many sale racks covering most clothing products in stock. One of the top places to be if you intend in leveling up your clothing game.
Wish you would give product knowledge to you staff instead of sales targets. I really suffered because of it. NEVER BUY WARRANTY FROM THEM. Bad after sales service by the support center. I followed up and called them for a month to get the problem fixed. And the end result is that my issue is not really an issue. Seems nobody even opened the pictures that I had sent out in the email. Only thing they can offer is an apology and not help.
Shop in shop experience. Just about every conceivable cosmetic and accessories here for women. And men I am sure! Unless someone tells me otherwise. Not there to purchase something as it is what you pass through when you use the parking attached to it. I did get a good review of a Men's Cologne by one of their salesperson as I passed through though!
