Olga (return desk) was the most rude and unprofessional csr ive encountered in life. Kevin (manager) was helpful but Olga wasted so much of my time, argued constantly for her lack of professionalism, and disrespected me multiple times in person and on the phone. The store manager had to apologize so many times during separate interactions for her lack of intelligence. I will never set foot in this store again. I am sure her career will never grow. What a shame.

Christmas is in the air at the Hudson's Bay Markville. Every year with anticipation, I can't wait to see what The Bay brings for the holidays. So far so good.bring on the sales!

Be careful. Online purchases from the marketplace cannot be returned instore. Online and return anything anytime was the ONLY thing going for The Bay. And now, even that is gone. There is literally no point in going to The Bay anymore.

Took a watch there for repair. They changed the battery then tell me that the watch is not working and still charge me for putting a battery in to non-working watch

I find it incredibly frustrating to do an exchange or refund. Their computers and processors are so outdated.

I wanted to buy my bottle of perfume from the bay and I had a lady showing me some different samples of different types of perfume so she tried to sell me the set that comes with the shower gel body lotion and a bag size perfume and one fair size bottle so when it came to the payment I asked if I can do 3 separate transactions on three different cards two master cards and the last one on my debit the lady says to me “we can’t do separate transactions we can only do MasterCard and debit or debit with cash our system will not allow it. ” I’ve been a costumer at the bay for 11 years and I’ve done many separate transactions with different card payments many times at different locations and here I come to the one close to home and hear this nonsense from the lady is ridiculous. I will never come to this location ever again how can a big brand name store not allow separate transactions for payment. I definitely don’t recommend coming to this location!

Best ever services from a retailer who knows his products and customer’s needs! Mr Guo in Home Furniture impressed me with the right service level and definitely managed to encourage me to shop again at Hudson’s Bay.

It has everything I need and I enjoy shopping there. I get most of my clothes from The Bay or Banana Republic. I just wish they had more smaller sizes.

I am writing a review because of the amazing customer service Louisa Halo, the Estée Manager, gave my mother and I. Louisa was extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my mother and I received the products we wanted.

The Nuface products we wanted were not in the store so Louisa ordered them through the store system. Unfortunately the system gave her a very difficult time but Louisa showed patience and perseverance and never lost her beautiful smile or extremely positive attitude. No matter how long it took, Louisa never gave up. She tried putting the orders in a different way and solved the problem, the orders all went through successfully! This would not have been the case if it were not for Louisa’s knowledge, ability to think outside the box, her patience and her dedication to serving her customers to the fullest. Also, until the situation was solved, Louisa took the time to make us laugh and feel comfortable and treated us as if we were family.

Louisa has stolen our hearts and has shown us the outstanding customer service The Bay provides for their customers. Louisa shines as a person and radiated brilliantly as a representative of The Bay. We will definitely be coming back to shop at The Bay Markville even more now because of this experience.

One of the worse Hudson Bays i have ever been to! If i can give minus 10 stars i would. For one, it is very, very RACIST. They ignore your questions yet try to follow you around. I embarrassed one employee yelling " Do not follow me because there is no evidence i am stealing. That is not proper protocol. Absolutely unacceptable! Is it because i am black wearing Jimmy Choo shoes with a LV bag. I work hard for all i own. I don't need to sell and even if she stopped me there was nothing to say. The entire mall it self was highly racist. Everyone watches you in the most rudest way possible. This mall is nothing like Fairview Mall, Yorkdale, Stc or Eaton Centre. Its mainly asians, blondes and Indian.

My favourite Hudson's Bay Department Store. Very spacious, stylish, clean and tidy. Lots of on-sale items with great price. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the store. Highly recommended!

Very poor online customer care. Call drops n no of times and they don’t call back. I wasted 2 hours without my problem solved. Disgusting customer care. Most of them they don’t understand proper English.

I am very disappointed at the service that this store provides. I am always trying to look for help and find no one. I feel like there should be at least two employees working in the ladies active wear section as that is the only change room open on that side. Whenever I am in this store I always see a worker running back and fourth from the cash to the change room and on top of that also has to clean each change room after each person leaves. I feel sorry for whoever works in that section and would hope that the store fixes these issues.

I wish there is an option to give negative rating!

My giftcard was secured and cannot make purchases. I am not sure why it's secured. I was on calls with multiple agents for almost 12 hours with no resolution.

2 things I hear in common.

30 mins later, Not sure why the gift card was secured.escalated to the team and you will get a call back.

Love the store. The best place to visit is the flagship store on Queen Street. Just view the architecture and the gorgeous basement. Then Arcadian Room with its chandeliers and piano and white cloth tables. Nothing like it around. Hope Canadians will keep this Canadian treasure going.

Made a purchase online a few days ago and had went in today to pick it up at the store. Went in around 1pm and after an hour of waiting I finally get my package. There was only one worker who was by herself for 20m until someone else had come to help her out. I had asked for the manager who is named KEVIN and he did not show up until 15 minutes of me waiting for him and did not have an answer as to why he could not come any quicker. I felt very uncomfortable having to wait in line during a pandemic for an hour just to get a package. As a manager, it should have been his job to get another person to help the line go faster but yet he was no where to be found. When I did end up speaking to him I had received a rude attitude and was asked if I was done talking. Completely unprofessional and Hudsons Bay needs to take action.

Clueless staff unaware of their own rules. I made a mistake with an pickup order and called in ahead to see if it would be an issue. Phone staff told me I would be fine. Went in to pick up order and the desk staff told me I couldn’t pick up my order because of the mistake I was told wasn’t an issue. I had payment and account details, but still couldn’t pick up my order. Have to wait for order to be cancelled and then reorder if item is in stock. Wasted time. Looks like i’m not the only one who feels this way about their customer service.

Desk staff I was with seemed like a mess, did not listen to my situation and got the details mixed up multiple times, and had to call her manager twice because of details she missed.

I was in the store a few days ago, and Rachel helped me find some new fall pieces to add to my closet! Not only that, but she also signed me up for a Bay card, overall great service!

Went to check out sunglasses. Surprised to see only handful of brands, heck not even handful just 4 brands and few choices to chose from. The shop is large but surprisingly some items like sunglasses are very poorly sold.

Was debating to send it here or the customer complaints they may or may not have.

TLDR: went to buy Casper foam pillow but all were opened. One employee said “pillow can’t be possibly be packed back into tube” open them to find that one has no packaging and no sealed bag. Employee said “see. Not possible to put back” lady blind and doesn’t care about her job selling a opened product during these times.

About 2-3 weeks ago. Went to buy a casper pillow from the bay thinking that I could get one that day. Upon finding the Casper foam pillows. All the standard sizes stickers/sealants were moved or obvious signs of removing them. I went to find a clerk and found 2 that were will to help.

One that appeared to be more of a senior than the other. The older one guided me back to the where the Casper section is and proceeded to open the tubes with the other employee. There were 3 in total of the size I wanted. First one didn’t have any package you would find on a new product, just the pillow. Senior tells me “see, not touched. ” Gave her a slightly disgusted face showing that I was not pleased and they opened the other 2. They both had a appeared to be a loose bag around it. She then said “oh someone opened this one a bit but didn’t take it out. ”

I was so done at this point and ready to leave but the younger employee said that she can check the system to see if they have any in the warehouse and can deliver it to my house for free if they got any. I liked that.

Bought my pillow and was completely baffled that the other one was just done for the day or she thought I was stupid enough the buy the opened products and if she pushed hard enough I would buy it. YEAH RIGHT LADY. Would not come here again. Will bring my mom to another bay cause that was outright stupid. If they teach the employees to push products like that because they need to get rid of it. I ain’t planning to be the shmuck.

I am surprised sometimes to see that Hudson's Bay is still in business. Yes their quality is very good. They do sell most Major brands. Yes their prices are in the higher side. Yes sometimes its difficult to find service. But when they have sales its worth a visit. This location had surprising good sales and we had no problems finding someone to help.

Hard to find employees working and if they are, they're very rude and unhelpful. Very unclear about where to do returns. Good selection of things. One stop shop for most things. Just wish their customer service was better.

High quality products at the right price. Just as the saying, you get what you paid for. Top original brand name products that customers can afford. The low part of this store is it's a big store with few checkouts, sometimes no one at the checkout.

Hi I had a wonderful experience at your store. In your cosmetics department. I went in shopping for a birthday gift for my for Mom her 85th birthday. I had no clue what to buy. Until Diana at your Markville location assisted me with my purchase. She also informed me about other promotions in Men's cologne. Which led me to purchase an awesome fragrance for myself. (Dolce CABANNA) I've had so many compliments on the Dolce CABANNA. I love it.

My mom was thrilled with the Micheal Kors cologne which ended coming with a gift. Micheal Kors handbag. She absolutely loved that as well.

Ontop of the great customer service experience from Diana. She was also able to save me an additional 15% by opening up a Hudson Bay Card.

I will definitely be visiting the store location again. It was a great experience. Looking forward to Xmas shopping for fragrances at the Markville Location

I know that The Bay in general has been grossly understaffing. But when I spend almost an hour on hold and have been hung up on 3 times, with not even the manager on staff picking up the phone. Why would a customer even bother giving you their money? Stop wasting your money and time on remodeling and hire some customer service.

In a non busy weekday, I spend quite a time standing in line at the ladies wear to buy a dress for my niece's wedding just because the cashiers alternating putting the clothes back on the rack and leave one cash register open then they asked to use another cash register if we can't wait!
