I had wonderful experience last weekend in Dior booth at Hudson’s Bay. I wanted to buy capture total eye cream and skin care. I found Romina really friendly and helpful. She kindly suggested me how to use the Skin Care cream. Interestingly, when my husband came in, he remembered that Romina had helped him too last year to choose suitable cream for me as a gift. She is both knowledgable and hospitable. Highly recommended.
It's a well maintained store (cleanliness and staffing) despite that this will be closing down soon. They do carry good quality brands. Sad to see such a department store going as shopping behavior evolves.
Clueless floor clerks and an insolent floor manager. I expected a line-up to get into the store but I didn't expect a 35 minute wait to check out. One of the worst shopping experiences taking the pandemic into account
Sarah helped me out with my dresses and will go see her on Wednesday to apply for my master card which was canceled, she's very friendly and helpful, i will make sure when ever i go i will be asking for her help thank you Sarah
Staff are courteous and helpful.there are some good buys.just the bedding section wasn't organized for which I'll give them a break on that since it takes sometimes to settle down after a long shutdown.
I wanted to try on clothes but the lady wouldnt let me use the change room in the men's section. Two associates were persistent on refusing to let me use the men's change room. What if the next person is trans? This store gender discriminates and it's never happened to me. If a customer wants to try something on its likely they are going to purchase it. Your minimum wager lost you $400 in sales, which went to sporting life:) november 25th. 1130am.
Shopped here on Black Friday and everything about the experience was really good. The sales lady Yong was terrific and helped out with everything. She went above and beyond, and should be highly commended!

Special thanks to the jewelry department & the kind young lady that helped me buy this new Seiko Men's 5 Automatic Sports Watch SRPD79 Black Dial and Black PVD Case with Black NATO strap. November 2020 will go down as a memorable month for me with this impressive automatic timepiece that acts as a great successor to the ever famous skx007. The Case, bezel, & much-loves seiko skx007 diver is now available with 27 styles, mine the srps79 is the street-style blacked out model. As a watch lover I geeked out over the listed specs of my new watch. The initial sale was defective & needed customer service as the heritage brand of Hundsons Bay is known for. As I said, an especially kind young lady stepped in & translated my needs to the jewellery department, which mean I replaced my two day old (defective) seiko watch for the same watch that was in stock without defects.

I don't know how everybody does not shop at The Bay, ever since I was a child I have been amazed by the quality of display and vast selection of products and excellent service with a family feel. I never feel pressured but can always count on honest opinions and heartfelt service from the staff at The Bay. Plus you never know when your favourite brands might be on sale!
Today I visited the Bay, Richmond Hill. A manager, "Natalie or Natalia" refused to help. She had a negative attitude as if I was lying about my problem. They better train her. I won't come back to this messy store ever again. I recommend HBC, Queen street.
Visited this place today at the beauty section. The salesperson at shiseido was informative and seems friendly. Didn’t push us to buy anything and let us sample the product first.
I shop at this Hudson's Bay all the time and the selection is magnificent, I always find unique items at great prices. Staff never seem too interested in helping out and if I am walking past the counter they tend to look another way or walk away as to not help in the cosmetics, shoes and apparel sections for women. The mens apparel and Shoe staff are phenomenal and the Home and Kitchen areas have attentive and helpful staff as well!
Allesia at Customer Service/Returns Dept was great. She was alone and super busy but still managed to maintain her composure and was fast, friendly and efficient. She made my return process easy and pain free which is usually not the case when returning items. Thanks Allesia! (I hope that I got your name right!)
Wow! What an upgrade to this newly refreshed mall, especially the Bay. The sales were incredibly awesome, scored Team Canada Olympic gear! Always a further discount w the HBC card. Excellent organization and helpful staff. Well done.
Love all the ladies working here. Always get very friendly service, and it makes my shopping experience far more pleasant. The bathrooms here are also very well maintained
I find the clothing section very scattered. Everything is mixed in such way that is really challenging to find your size and brands. Also crossing the cosmetics department is terrible as the mix of perfumes and scents is awful. Sorry, but this was my experience.
Hudson’s Bay is a great place to shop. It has everything you may need for clothing, cosmetics and shoes. The prices are great when the items go on sale. The store app makes shopping easier and you can order whatever you want and receive the order in two to three days.
Clean is about all I can say. Hudson's Bay is clearly behind the times. Staff seem more interested in taking there breaks and "just doing" their designated jobs. I was buying a sweater for my daughter. I went over to a counter that had a cash register and the 2 staff members who were just talking to themselves told me I needed to go over to another section where there was a line up of 5 people being served by 2 employees and was being held up by one customer who needed help with a price check (which is fine we all need help), the other cashiers register wasn't working and did not accept tap payments (the sale was under $100). What were the other 2 employees doing at their cash registers.nothing lol. With this type of customer service Hudsons Bay will most certainly be losing business at this busy time of year. These employees will be out of a job and it will be their own fault, or the fault of mis management for not facilitating other stations with cashiers to operating in high traffic situations. I'm being generous with a 3 rating as it is Christmas
I am Mac cosmetics member.on December month already I made 3,4 purchases.spend few hundreds of dollars at Mac cosmetics for myself and gifts.last one was the wrost! Today at Hilcrest mall Mac counter. I called to make sure I can get discount 30% store or on line special deal of the day.for eye products. So I bought over $93. I realized I didn't get the full size bonus lipstick over $75 purchased even there was sign every where.get $10 gift card when you buy over $65 or $75.sorry you can't get it not when you have discount.the girl told me. So i called Mac office to find out how can I get it. (bonus lipstick) because I am still waiting a package from Mac the lady told me. I should be able to get from where I just purchased (same day 2 hours ago). The girl at Hilcrest mall told me sorry this is Hudson Bay.not the same.we are not Mac we are the Bay. (Such as" bad "customer service no comparison to downtown Eaton Yorkdale Fairview. Markville.) then don't take my order.i will be glad to buy some where else! I am a customer not a beggar! Will you come back again? Absolutely NOT! Neither my families.my friends also my relatives.after they heard what happened.
It’s been 3 hours calling this store unable to connect to any person nobody in all long list of departments including manager which is really wierd, it is really urgent call, so it is better not to provide phone number to waste customers time!
Purchased a $ 150+ winter jacket. The zip broke after 3 wears. A lot of time wasted trying to explain and reason with customer care. No use. Returned back with a defective piece of clothing. Excuse given, HB doesn't manufacture the clothing they sell. Excuse me, a 150+ year old store needs to understand there is something known as QC and QA.
The staff in the shoe dept are the worst. Four staff people looked me dead in the eye while holding a single shoe (waiting patiently to ask for a show shoe size) and did not acknowledge me. I did not want to barge in but they force people to be bullies to get attention.
Went to do some shopping last week and decided to stop by the bay. I was looking for men's socks but was unable to find what i was looking for. I asked an employee that was on the floor for some help. She helped me find the sock brand i was looking for and went above and beyond what i expected from a bay employee. Her name tag said Roxanna on it and she gave me the best service ive ever received at the bay. Makes me want to continue buying in store.
This is a huge place with lots of clothes to choose from. The staff seem okay, nothing special. It's kinda hard to fine what your looking for and I couldn't fine shorts with a brand I like. The store as really good deals going on which is a big plus in my opinion. For the reasons listed above I give The Bay at that location 4 star's
The sales associates of Olson inside the Bay were unfriendy, unwelcoming, no smiles and have an attitude. Otherwise the other staff of this Bay were polite and helpful.
