The manager yelled at me and threatened to call the cops because I wanted to take a different exit a few minutes before the store closed, he forced my family to take the wrong door and it took us an hour to find out car because of it. Awful service, and overpriced bad quality items.
Nov 27 2021- I had a pleasant experience shopping here to buy winter gear mostly because of Waeel who was at the shoe counter, he was very helpful with advising and guiding me to buy the right pair for the winter.
WORST THE BAY EVER! I went this location to buy a Christmas Gift. The lady called “Associate Manager” was extremely rude and treated me like a some maniac asking something random. Eventually she told me where it might be and nothing close was there. Doesn’t know where the items are in the store.
Always a great place to shop! Great incentives for people who are loyal customers. Associats are alway courteous and professional. I stop at the Bay often all of them. Anytime I am near one always pop in to check them out. Keep up the good work Bay. Your doing customers right.
Nice location, high variety of good quality stuff with reasonable prices, you feel the coming Christmas at the people happy faces. Must visit if you come to scarborough
My My. Customer service is not available anymore. I Asked to change the battery of my watch. Repair Person asked me it will coast money.repair WHAT is this approach? Replied. To change the battery coast money. Hey I said am here to change my watch battery! Not your business how much coast change damn battery. You are here to serve customer.not other way around! Where is the manager?
Went here earlier today for some Polo Ralph Lauren shirts. The cashier Manson was incredible. So incredible that I actually decided to buy another Ralph Lauren item off him. He was great. Planning on coming back to Fairview Bay in the near future!
Just went to the store today and were served by a very nice lady named Safia.she was very patient and help me to find the items that I want and her customer service was excellent and I was a very happy customer walking out the store today, she is definitely an asset to Hudson's Bay Department Store.
These five stars are only for a nice lady whose name is Fatima or Fatemeh in the cash register. I had to return something two weeks ago and she managed the return process wisely; however, one of the manager who was passing by in purple shade hairs, gave ma a hard time that I should not have returned a defective item I bought online! I tried to be nice to her but it is so unprofessional to disrespect your customers to be honest! I hope, she sees this review and reconsider her attitudes towards the customers!
Went to buy a Dyson hairdryer and the price in store was $50 more than it was on the hbc website. When we questioned, they allowed for the price adjustment.but the fact that their store prices are more than online for the same product seems crooked. Make sure to double check the price of what you buy in store.
Selection is worse than ever for menswear. The Bay has beaten out Eatins, Simpsons etc who were quality operations. Most Bay's never have enough size ranges available, usually a lot ofsmall sized very boring range of outdated 1950s plaid shirts. Face it Bay management you lack buyers who have quality product experience.or any idea of inventory and styles. Mostly Bay stores cater for Asians with products from there.
Clothes organized more by brand than category, making it impossible to search for just "pants". Nothing in my size. Friendly staff, but a nightmare to shop.
Pros: Great sale prices on lots of brands. It was quiet and easy to shop. I like the Fairview location because it's a good balance between having a good selection and not being too busy (basically, it's not Yorkdale but it's not the Eglinton Square)
Cons: finding a Service desk with an associate to process my online order return and then my purchase afterwards.
Service was great. Sales rep helped me with finding the right sizes and took the time to look in the back for specific colours. Great shopping experience. I was in and out in no time. Perfect Christmas present done!
Usually when I went in to the Hudson Bay store, you could not find people working. Now when I go into any Bay store, I see a lot of employees. I am happy that there are more employees working in the stores.
Last day of at days and I have to say not enough staff working. We didnt have a single person to ask for help to find a mens suit. I am accustomed to getting better service at The Bay
Worst customer service faced. First the counter was occupied for returns for 15 mins. Then other counter had only one person. We bought a winter cap which showed 30% off. The rep said its regular price. We went till the place where it said 30% and in very small below it it said excluded item. She herself had difficulty to read it.
Then she said will give you a courtesy discount this time. And once billed she says "I hope you don't return the product after using it " and felt so rude. An old white lady said to her never say that again to anyone.
It just so happened to be a Bay Day and it was quite busy. The sales associates constantly had customers asking questions or ones waiting in line to pay. I could see that the sales associates were starting to get a little frazzled but I think they handled it well. Customers just need to realize that they can't jump queues and should patiently wait like everyone else.
Bay Days are ok. Hard to find store assistance when you have questions. Long line ups at cashiers. Prices can be more competitive. Displays contains clothing with wrong prices, or prices not updated in the system. If stores are cutting back on staffing they can at lease install electrinic price checkers.
Amazing place to shop for major brands under one umbrella. Superb designs and latest trends to explore. Huge and vast inventory to choose from. Presence of premium to ultra premium brands with high quality goods
I found a shoe that I wanted to buy, but the sales help could not find the mate. She said that they would call me and never did. Very disorganized shoe department.
The service was terrible. We could not find a salesperson. The one we did find told us she was on break on her cell phone and told us to find someone else. We were almost ready to leave when finally someone showed up. Very disappointed.
This HBC store has minimal or invisible staff. The visible ones who work are stressed because of long lineups and grumpy customers. The store is a disaster with poor selection and inventory all over the floor.
Horrible service! There were about 5 customers waiting around in the Mens clothing section for a good half hour without any kind of assistance. Some of us actually had to go hunting around the store for someone and the girl we did find just said "someone should be over there". When I asked if she could page them because nobody has been there for a while and people are waiting, she said she would. Another 10 minutes went by and still no page for assistance! Ridiculous. Everyone ended up walking away and you probably lost at least $1000 in sales as it was the suit section. Not to mention the place looked like a tornado hit it and the fitting room had pinning needles and garbage all over the ground!
Very limited selection in shoes. Couldn't find my size in other clothes. No help. Staff too busy talking to help at another cash leading to long lines and wait time.
It is the worst Retailer in Canada. They wasted my time for couple of weeks waiting for my order for 2 times and when checked with them they said Security department has canceled your order and called them again and the guy in Customer service told the item been reordered now 100% and u going to receive an email and then no emails! No anything and called again to find they canceled my order again!
They are not people looking for business or keen for business they are staff just to enjoy setting in office and they refused to do work instead of doing their job!
You should shut down your business as you just do frustration for customers
