I went to hue spa today and it was the worst experience I told the massage lady plse to focus more on my lower back because that's where I have pain and a bit of spasm she keep on telling me that she will get to it but instead spend more time focusing on my upper back I told the lady at the front I'm not satisfied with the service and she proceed to ask me if I wanna tip the massage lady there is no way that I'm unhappy with a service and your gonna ask me to still tip with a stupid smile on your face I wouldn't recommend.and the massage lady was sniffling over me while giving me a massage seems as if she has a cold

Had a massage session professional services had a neck issue feeling much better might book another session

I was lucky to find a nice massage clinic not far from the place where I work. I tried almost all types of massage there except osteopathic, but it’s in my plans to check this out. They have pretty nice variety of machines there for tightening the skin, slimming and very reasonable prices. According to my experiences, the staff is pretty friendly

The best massage clinic I've been to in a long time!

An excellent experience from the moment I arrive to the end when settling the bill. The lady at the front desk (the owner, I think?) was thorough in explaining the different types of massages: the ailments they address, the materials involved, etc.

I had Tina, who was communicative throughout about comfort with pressure, but also very intuitive with what your body can handle. That's a rare gift, IMO. I don't know how she has the energy to do this for long hours!

They made a regular out of me. HIGHLY recommended!

They have a STRICT 24 hour cancellation policy. I called to cancel 23 hours prior to my RMT appointment because I was stuck in a meeting - no they couldn’t cancel because she already told the massage therapist about the appointment! After I asked a few times she agreed to ask for an exception.
Then I arrived at my rescheduled appointment. It was average. I didn’t tip because it’s a RMT. She asked me why I didn’t tip. Overall negative experience. I won’t return.

My skin looks and feels amazing after each session! I would totally recommend for maintenance care of your face.

Worst massage ever, it was for one hour and for the first time ever in my life I had to get up and leave after 20 minutes. The lady is twisting each of my fingers sideways and it still hurt now.one handed massage at the same spot for 5 minutes. Full body weight on my spine with her elbow and wouldn't stop even after I ask her to, she said this is part of the routine. Just a torture, and of course no refund! Felt nice and relaxed yea right!

I used to go to the old location and after moving back to Toronto, decided to try it again. It was the WORST massage of my life - and I have gone for regular massages over the past few years- both RMT and non-RMT. The girl was nice but:

1) The massage was very aggressive and painful - it was obvious she had no technique and NO idea what she was doing. Half the time I felt like I was being prodded. As a physician, there were some maneuvers that seemed almost dangerous - such as using a towel to stretch the neck.it was just clear the masseuse had absolutely no experience. It was extremely aggressive - I had no idea a massage could ever be this bad. Honestly, I had no idea what she was doing most of the time, it was the weirdest massage in my life.

2) I thought at least I could relax - but no. The massage chair was horrible quality and flimsy, and MOVED every time she was massaging me from the left side - it was wobbly.

3) I had neck pain prior to the massage, and left with pain that was way worse - she spent way too much time in one area, and again had absolutely no idea what she was doing.

Price was $76 total for 1 hour - it was so bad, I thought about leaving mid-way through. Please AVOID.

The worst spa to ever go for a massage.no one seems to know anything, they tell you 4 days in a row they will call you back and they don’t.very impolite and and unprofessional.save your money guys don’t go here even tho their prices are more affordable it’s not worth the bad service

First impression was awful! I had a Groupon coupon for one hour and I mentioned before that I want a lady massager but they didn’t even bother to call me to say do not come, she isn’t available today, before I arrived there.
Really unprofessional behaviour.
So I had to reschedule for next week.
At the end I got my massage which is not bad.
This is my first and last visit.

Got the 60 minute detox massage from Groupon. The massage room wasn't very nice, it was just a small room and a flimsy bed so I was worried about the massage. However the massage ended up being great. The girl who massage me used lots of pressure which I loved and the use of stones were very nice and relaxing. They mostly massaged my upper body, neck and shoulder which was perfect for me since I have chronic pain there. Nice and friendly receptionist as well.

However the room was pretty cold. Because the weather is getting colder, you guys should turn up the heat in the massage rooms. I was really cold after the massage. Otherwise, great place, great price, will be visiting again!

I've been coming to this clinic for a few years now and I always feel great after my massage. The cost is not bad too.

They have two locations and although their new location has been updated but the maps shows previous one as well. My bad luck that i ended up there. When i reached to the new location for my service they told me they will deduct all that time from my service.

I kept telling them it was their incorrect address still on maps that took me there. They were not listening to me

Also when i requested pls appoint me some other time. They said we have used your coupon and we cant give you another time.

Well i came here for great reviews seems like they just go by the book and dont care much about making a good experience.

Never coming back because they proved it money values to them more than their customer!

The receptionist is mean and cold! She needs to learn some customer service. She didnt care that i had to leave my apt because of her mean attitude and also she refused me for another apt.

So apparently i wasted more than 50 dollars booking for this spa.

It's our first time and we were satisfied with the service. Jason and Helen were good. For sure we will gonna come back.

Writing in regards to my mother’s experience.
She purchased a Groupon for the detox massage and made an appointment for August 7th, 2: 30pm.
She took time off work to go in and treat herself and was met with a rude receptionist who claimed there was no way my mom had an appointment, and demanded she present proof of her appointment.
My mom pulled up the call on her phone of her appointment after the receptionist demanded proof of when she called. The receptionist said it’s impossible we’re closed on this day, my mom pointed out that she was on the phone for 4 minutes, obviously not talking to a ghost. My mom left stressed shaking and frustrated after she wasn’t offered any condolences, apology, or an offer to accommodate. Wouldn’t give them my time or my business.

My go to massage place. Sometimes good sometimes ok.but today was pretty good since I bought it from groupon so it was pretty cheap 60 min “detox” massage. Last 10 mins felt really good on my back when she used hot stones. I got a Korean lady today and she was good!

I finined masaage today, the worst experience I have meet. After massage I felt more unncomfortable and tired, skills were very bad and actions were rude.i started: 57, but the staff told me finished at: 49, not even enough 1 hour, wont be here anymore

I had my first post lockdown covid massage here and had a great experience. I was a little nervous but happy to report that they have strict covid precautions that they have implemented.

Hand sanitizer must be used upon entry, your temperature is checked, you must wear a mask throughout your whole visit, all staff and therapists are masked throughout your treatment.

My massage was done by Helen and she did a great job! She checked throughout the massage to see that the pressure was good and that I was comfortable.

The detox massage consisted of a deep tissue (Great for getting out all your tight knots!) Swedish massage with oil, and a great relaxing hot stone massage.

They also have package deals as well for great prices.

I visited here to getting service of Detox massage with my gf.

Excellent professional staff. I exercise regularly and have brutal neck/back pains from sitting all day on my chair at home (remote work). The attendants are very petite but have impressive strength and skills. I always get the deep tissue sports massage and feel like I can bike 50 km after a session.

They use disposable sheets to cover the table and give you freshly laundered shorts to wear something comfortable when in a session. They were obviously worn before (mad loose), but they always clean and laundered. Super professional and the service is top notch.

I have spurts of motivation to take care of my skin and initially when I went here for facials, I didn’t think much of it. I’ve had a different attendant each time I went and all were very polite and professional. The sessions were all consistent in process and quality. It is now after I haven’t been going as much and trying to take care of my skin myself that I realize what a difference those sessions actually made! Definitely looking to go back!

Hue Spa is a great place to get a deep tissue or hot stone massage or a RMT message, I recommend them highly!

Have been to hue spa for almost 4 years, it's amazing and affordable compares to a lot of places in downtown. I live in downtown but still willing to drive 35 mins to get my massage there. Very friendly environment and great service.

I came here for the hot stone massage and sadly it wasn’t a great experience.first of all because of covid they massage u over a blanket - without oil - i think that might’ve been the first mistake.i had this massage a month ago my back has NEVER been the same.it hurts and it aches.i cannot sleep well without repositioning to find a spot that doesn’t hurt my back more.i now have to find a proper RMT to fix my back.don’t mess with ur spine.go to a better place.idk what kind of RMTs they have here - but this ain’t it. NEVER RECOMMEND.

I was initially worried about my upcoming appointment, considering the cool and terse atitude of the receptionist on the phone. However, when I got there everyone was pleasant and proffesional. Most important is that my MT. Helen, was excellent in my opinion, best I've had. Left her a sizeable tip for my budget.
Not sure if it was the same receptionist on the phone as in the clinic but customer service should be monitored by the owner.

My girlfriend and I had a detox couple’s massage with Eva and Elly today. Hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Not a fancy place, but best value for price! We immediately purchased a 10 session package!

Eva and Ellie are amazing. We got the detox massage and we couldn't be happier. Will definitely go back soon.
