They don't return any calls on any line.
They offer nothing to the community in the way of low cost vaccination clinics, low cost spay/neuter programs let alone rabies clinics.

It's free for them to request the Toronto Humane Society Mobile Clinic to come to London 1 or Twice a year.
But they don't do anything except want money for a bigger building to hold strays.
Kitchener, Windsor, all except London have vastly superior services and programs offered.

I had to surrender my mom’s cats as she was hospitalized and could no longer take care of them. We were treated very poorly and the cats as if they were poisonous. On my application I wrote that they may have Giarda which is a parasite which can only be transmitted by feces or water sharing. They said I didn’t write that and I saw the form which they highlighted that I wrote it but never apologized. They made us sit outside with 5 cats and move them to the back door which was very difficult as I have a disability. They didn’t care at all about the cats. I wanted to talk to them about their personalities but it was like pulling teeth and then they finally listened and wrote down what I told them. Quite frankly I do not feel good about them being there I am so afraid of them being neglected because of their unfounded fear of the parasite. I have been extremely traumatized and wish I had somewhere else to take them. We love them and it was hard enough to surrender them but this agency made it a living hell. I don’t recommend them at all. I would also like to mention that many people I know have said it is extremely difficult to adopt there they make it almost impossible and I have experienced this firsthand I am wondering now if it is because they want more money from their contributors. I don’t know why but they do not seem interested in getting the animals homes.

I am a volunteer dog walker at HSLM and am so impressed with the care that is provided to animals in need. The staff work tirelessly to provide quality care to all animals at the shelter. They are provided with quality food, clean kennels and any required medical attention. The staff truly love and care for all of the animals. They go above and beyond!:

The people are great, and so dedicated to the animals. It's a sad place, but at least the people working and volunteering there make it a little bit better. The new location will be amazing for everyone.

Consider a donation to help them out. Any little bit can help.

Animal control is absolutely useless. I've had a problem with a dog in my neighborhood since I moved in 3 years ago. I've got into a blood bath if a dog fight with the individual and still the owner has kept this dog. This dog have an extremely long record of violent which I have the paperwork for. The owner isn't even legally allowed to keep possession of this dog yet it still aggressively chased my car when I go by as it's always off leash. I call and I call and I call, nothing happens.
