Open end egg rolls are very good, garlic spareribs also, but the chicken fried rice and especially the general Tao chicken was really bad it tested freezer burnt we could not eat it!

I go see these guys about once a week. Very friendly service and your food's ready quick.
It's comforting that since the beginning of the pandemic, they have taken health precautions very seriously.
Their prices just went up, but are still competitive to other restaurants.
Food is yummy and good quality too. You know when you go to a place, and get chicken balls, but they're all dough with little chicken. Hung Fatt is NOT like that. Their balls have big chicken pieces. Everything is always well cooked, and in good sized portions.

I had heard good reviews, the servings were good size but the food was not good. We won't be back.

First time ordering and won't be the last! Love their General Tao Tofu! Huge portions. Very very generous! Fast and friendly service. Both me and my spouse were satisfied with our food.

Like the food. They make excellent chicken balls, but unfortunately will not be ordering from them again. The last two times I asked for no msg. Both times it was in the food and I got sick. If they cannot do it with no msg they should tell me.

Very disapointed with our food today. Me and my bf ordered a combination plate #5 and #8 it was horrible. The rice was old, the chicken balls were mostly pastry and no chicken, the general tso was nothing like its supposed to be, the garlic spare ribs were dry and our egg rolls was mush and looked like wet cat food. It sucks we spend over 30$ and dint enjoy our meal. Its a suprise for us as we ordered from here before it was amazing but it seems like there food quality went down hill. Will not be buying from here again.

I fully expected General Tao's chicken similar to one of the two attached pictures. I'll let you guess which one they call General Tao's chicken. (I removed the photo of the delicious, properly prepared dish as I feel it was misleading readers.

Disgusting.

Ordered over $65 of food from this place a week ago. We went to pick it up and the front desk attendant was VERY rude. I would NOT recommend and suggest you stay away. Half the food was cold and the other half was overcooked including the "crispy" chicken fried rice. The rice was actually crispy. And one item was undercooked - the beef & broccoli was raw. Awful experience that we will not repeat. When my wife returned the next day to tell them of our experience, the same rude front desk attendant to her, "If you didn't like it that much, next time you order somewhere else". Nice. Classy. Stay away.

Pretty good North Americanized Chinese food. The sweet and sour chicken balls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Good amount of lean breast meat inside. General Tao Chicken not tangy nor spicy, but still good, but more just like battered chicken in sauce. Beef and broccoli is standard. Chicken fried rice has tiny pieces of chicken breast meat in it. Egg rolls are standard, but more vegetables than ground pork. Service polite and very quick. Lunch Specials for $9.95, not bad for these days. Combination Plates $14.95 give you more variety.

We have been going to hung fatt for about 30 years and even when they went to new owners the food quality was still fantastic.

Grew up near here and always make sure to stop by when I'm back in town! Super tasty and comforting!

Always satisfied with their food. I'm usually quite picky about the texture/firmness of tofu but they seem to get it right.

Ordered a large order for our family for New Year's. Best Chinese food we've tried in the city. It was delivered a bit early but that was fine by us, and preferable to it being late.

Ordered at 530. Called back twice to see where our was. Stated it was "on its way". At 930 they called us back and said our order slip fell on the ground and was not placed. Seemed like everyone was getting Phat but us.

Oh my goodness. Was recommended by a friend.amazing. Best spot in Ottawa by far. Ordered C10 with general tao. Delicious! & great staff.

Fantastic food. Everything is super fresh, flavourful and they always give generous portions. I moved outside their delivery zone so now I drive to them because no other Chinese food is as good as theirs.

One the best places in the city for North American chinese food. There chicken balls are huge chunks of real white meat chicken and there chicken wings are excellent even without a sauce. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a chinese dinner. The owners are also hilarious

Usually good but perhaps not on Saturday. Broccoli with cooked chicken just added without cooking together. Chicken got no flavour. We won't be ordering on Saturday.

Disappointing indeed!

Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had! Cripsy Beef and General Tao's chicken looked indistinguishable from one another, both being extremely heavily breaded and drenched in a dark sauce, no veggies or anything. Eggrolls were good, chicken balls were good, but I would suggest going elsewhere if you want decent food with some effort put into it.

They wouldn’t make a delivery simply because I didn’t go over 20$ but on the flyer it says min15$ for delivery

Terrible. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Got beef and broccoli, chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken balls with chicken fried rice. When I opened up the container it was filled with the beef and broccoli sauce. Allover my rice, egg roll (in the combination plate box) and soggy chicken balls. It was gross. After being extremely dissatisfied, I thought the wings would be better. Boy was I wrong. The wings were by far the worst as the had gone bad. Needless to say.
NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN!
