Hunter's Public House

I did a walk-in with my son but it's best to get a reservation. We were able to sit at the bar together but there were no tables available. My son and I both really enjoyed the food.

This restaurant is amazing. We've visited more than once and enjoyed their patios in both summer and fall. The staff is friendly, providing excellent service. They offer a wide selection of food and drinks, and what stands out the most is the warm smile we always receive from the server. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal and the craft beers were great too! Just loved the nice atmosphere and the outstanding service from Scott!

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and lively, the service was friendly and impeccable! The food presentation was lovely and it was very tasty (especially the wings! The only reason for the four stars and not five is I found it to be a bit on the pricey side and there's no "specials night", but otherwise, everything was spot on here.

This place deserve’s six stars! Julie, our waitress was spectacular. Fish and chips are fried and battered on the spot. Everything tasted so fresh. Can’t wait to go back!

The ONLY complaint I have is their seating. Chairs are super heavy and not that comfortable. Even worse are the backless, tippy barstools. I may be in my 60s, but I love a great dinner out, but my back and butt are SO uncomfortable. Everything else about Hunters is stellar!

We had an incredible experience here - all the way from the servers to the food and the ambience. What a treat to go there - we will be back for sure.

Love this local place! Food is so good - lots of vegetarian options! Service is excellent! Can get a bit loud and crowded because it's so popular now.

I was in the area for an appointment and decided to have lunch here. I had an excellent service from the hostess to the waitress. I had the salmon burger with soup of the day, and their own version of a Moscow Mule. The cocktail was one of the best I’ve tasted.as for the burger, it tasted really fresh, and the service was very fast as well. Sidenote, I really like the sanitizer bottles on their tables.

This is a gem in Finley Creek! The food and atmosphere along with the live music for what we paid was more than reasonable. We will definitely be going back awesome. Thank you for a great time.

Great pub food and an amazin atmosphere! Outdoor patio fully upgraded to be warm and cozy even in colder months. Great drink menu. Friendly staff!

Really enjoyed our dinner a few weeks ago. The highlight was definitely our server Scott though. He was really lovely and gave really great recommendations from the menu (he clearly knew his stuff). We felt really taken care of by him throughout our whole time there.

Had fish and chips with a local cider. Everything was delicious and our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

Went to Hunter's Public House for the first time this past weekend. My server, I believe his name was Scott, was amazing! He gave us recommendation based on our food restrictions and everything was spot on! He also brought us some trivia cards to play with while we were waiting for our food. All in all, great experience!

Good Food, Excellent Service, Great Beer and Wine Selection. Very nice decor and atmosphere. Definitely give it a try.

Was a Hunter's Public House, it's become a staple in the area for a reason being it's consistently a good meal with great staff!

Awesome atmosphere, amazing food! We had Christina as our server who was super energetic and awesome and everything she recommended off the menu was delicious. Will be back again soon!

I had the hunter’s turkey club last week and it had no flavor and the bread was rock hard. I do not recommend this. My husband had the chicken with penne and the chicken was dry. Also, the waitress spoke too softly. I only heard a few words. We won’t be going back!

Had a nice outing at hunters on Friday night. Had a little meal called "East meets East".
Deep fried Pork and Shrimp Wonton on a bed of lettuce an dried noodles. Very savory, with a sweet sauce to compliment it. Also had a can of Stray Dogs Anytime pale ale.

That night we had a nice band playing some great oldies to bring up to Friday blues.

Outstanding whisky collection. Food was creative and tasty. Good selection of local beers. Charles the owner was very friendly and accomadating. Menu was extensive and original. The wonton were crispy, flavourful and delicious. Went great with the Mac na Braiche Single Malt.

The food quality and service was excellent. Food is little more priced compared to competitors. Ambience is also excellent.

My husband and I recently discovered this small restaurant thanks to a friend who posted it on Facebook. It's not close to our home but well worth the trip for the varied menu. I love their Hunter's Sour cocktail a little too much and could easily drink more than two. I had the bacon grilled cheese with sourdough bread. Now that's a grilled cheese! My favourite dessert is the maple crème brûlée. Next time I'll try the mussels. It's a little pricier than we expected but the staff is so friendly and courteous. We will definitely go there again.

Cozy restaurant with a nice menu, offering a large variety of food.
Portions were generous.
Beer selection was huge! I guess a number here but it looked like the beer menu had over 50 different beers, on tap and in bottles/cans.
Would suggest this place to anyone looking for a warm, informal, experience!

Calling all vegetarians! Best veggie burger I’ve had to date! What a pleasant experience. Great beer selection, amazing food, stellar atmosphere and great staff. I can’t believe it has taken us two years to stumble upon! We will be back

We found hunters about a year ago and have found this place to be a great spot to go to. The staff is amazing. Tonight we were there and Hailey had us laughing and in tears with her pure honesty and winning smile. We will definitely return again and again.

I was there with friends for lunch and I had the tuna poke appetizer, which is pretty generous, and the tomato bisque. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Hunter's never disappoints! Top notch service and food is always delicious! Trivia Night is a blast!

This place has an good beer menu unfortunately food is hit or missed. We went there with kids a couple of times during our stay at Findlay Creek.

The service however is absolutely outstanding! Once, The weather was uncertain and while we first started on the patio we were able to switch inside without issue when it started sprinkling. And the waitress even advised us to do it sooner rather than later as to not be stuck if it really started to rain.
Our food was great. However the kids pastas looked dry, like they had been under the pass for a while. We assumed the sauce was at the bottom which revealed true for the butter pasta but not the marinara ones. We didn’t return it, our daughter had some of the appetizers, she is rather picky and we are trying to teach her to be a little less picky… And Frankly I am always shy to return food… but the waitress saw that our daughter had barely touched her food and gave us a 50% discount on her plate. I thought it was a nice gesture.

We went back and got chicken wings has appetizers which looked like they had been forgotten in the fryer because they were so very dry.

We would go back for a drink but not for a meal.

We had a great time. Great food! Great service! Live entertainment! Shoutout to our server, Neve. She was amazing. She new the menu, put up with our jokes and was great. Thanks Neve! We will be back!

Overall great experience. I would have preferred to have the option to change the potatoes for fries. No alternatives were offered. Other than that, great place
