This park is amazing for hiking, playing soccer, going for a dog walk and much more. You will never get tired of visiting this beautiful piece of nature located just south of the HWY407.

Visited this park yesterday to see fall colors while looking for a park near North York having fall colors. I must say though it is not as big as conservation parks, it is still big enough with a beautiful walking trail, stream of water and lovely fall colors as you can see the pictures here. Parking is ample.

Good hiking trails - the main trail is paved/gravel, and there is also a network of trails in the woods for hikers or mountain bikers who are looking for a bit more challenge.

Aug 2021: the bridge on the west side toward Evergreen Cres.is still out and fenced off. Crossing the creek without getting wet is possible if the water levels are low, and the stepping stones are in place.

Ample parking. Play structure is good. There is a leash free park for dogs. Love the hike along the creek if u enjoy nature.

I initially through it was more like trails to go hiking in. But the hiking spot was closed due to repairs. It was nice placeX but more of a open park and not trails

Beautiful place. You have the option of a more well-kept trail or adventure more into the woods following the creek.
Picnic areas, soccer fields, playground and free-leash areas for dogs.
Plenty of parking.

Nice trail along the river through Valley View Park / Maple Valley Park. Walk along the path at the end of the Huntington Park parking lot and you'll see a trail leading into the forest. Once you get to the river, turn left and follow it. The trail will eventually take you to Green Lane.

Love the landscape with combination of forest, hill, valley and creek. There's picnic area and cycling trail as well. Perfect for family.

As a frequent visitor since 1988, you heard it here first that this is one of the best parks in Markham, period. A catalogue of memories made there!

Well maintained park. Walkers and the community alike take responsibility for their pups making the experience enjoyable

Booked the park for a family event and the City of Markham customer service personnel was very responsive to our questions and booking. The park has 1 porta potty and it seemed like there was plenty of parking. There were plenty of recycling and garbage bins located around, however some people still can't manage to take their trash and recycling the 10 feet to where it belongs.
We rented the smaller soccer field and the Gazebo. The Gazebo was fantastic! Big enough for several picnic tables to fit under and as it rained that day it was the perfect size for our gathering.
As this is a larger park, and has an off leash dog park attached to it, it would have been fantastic if there was a spigot or water source/fountain in the park. The pavement was also a bit chopped up. Other than that, a great park!
