My boyfriend checked in here in Huntsville inn. The day we check out, They said that he burn the duvet cover and cut it. They tried to charge him with “damage” that will cost $300. We did not agree because he did not do anything. They even said instead of $300 they will give us 50% discount. We stand on our ground and prove to them that we did not do that. We told them that we have friends. Then after few minutes they let us go. Bad and traumatic experienced.

Very simply do not stay here. Trust me.

Avoid this motel at all costs. The staff was unprofessional, rude and not accommodating. The rooms have the most disgusting, overpowering air fresher smell. I’ve never smelled anything like it before. Made us sick to our stomach. Asked for a refund before even checking in due to the smell. No refund given and only after arguing with the manager did he finally offer a different room. By then it was too late. We cut our losses and went to another motel which was amazing!
It’s unfortunate that the manager is in this industry. No customer service what’s so ever.

The owners are dishonest, unfriendly and enrich themselves on the misery of others.

One day before our planned stay we were robbed by a junkie in Whitby and therefore could not arrive until one day later. When we called them we were assured that nothing would be charged for the night cancelled at short notice. Since we felt this was very generous, we decided to go to Huntsville a day later and stay two nights to show our appreciation. At check-in, I was again assured that only the amount for the upcoming two nights would be charged. Then, when we happened to look at my credit card statement the morning of departure, we discovered that the cancelled night was still charged at the full amount of Saturday's rate. The owner did not want to know anything anymore about the agreement made on the phone and even accused us of lying by saying that we had not even called them at all. I am aware that the hotel lost a night at short notice. Nevertheless, they should not have lied to us and if they did not want to cancel/refund the, lost'' night completely, at least they could have helped us a bit by reducing the cancellation amount as we could not arrive on time due to an emergency situation, but still stayed for two nights. The room amenities are okay, the cleanliness average, and the air conditioners are louder than a Concorde on takeoff.
I advise everyone to avoid this hotel. There are enough alternatives in Huntsville with honest and customer friendly owners.

Room was nice and clean. Room service was excellent. All staff are very friendly. Owner is very helpful to navigate nearby attractions and places.
