Amy did a great job perfecting my BioGel Nails. She is so friendly and precise. She always works to make the shape and colour exactly what is asked for. I love the Ombre and shape!

Experiences can be mixed at this salon. I've never walked in, always booked ahead, but most of the time it feels like I'm a walk in. The staff is confused about what I'm there - spa pedicure or waxing. Seems like there is only one person that does waxing and may be the owner, who is very rushed.

They only accept cash and debit, which I understand but can be a challenge.

Absolutely had a wonderful experience here! Amy was wonderful and made my nails beautiful again after I had a negative experience at a different salon. She was quick, kind and I will definitely return again!

I went in with my friends and had an appointment. They helped my two friends and left me to sit in the corner for 10 minutes and didn’t even talk to me. I had Diva do my toes and she was the first one to acknowledge me. She did a great job on my toes. When I sat down for my full set she looked confused after grinding down some of my nails and grinding my pinky nail and making me bleed. She told me “too thin” like grinding on anyone’s skin isn’t going to hurt them. She then asked me if I had an appointment for a full set which I very much did and then left me to sit alone for another 10 minutes. I decided it wasn’t a good idea to do a full set because my pinky was still bleeding and I didn’t want any sort of contamination. The best part is when I went to pay she stared at the screen I was using waiting for me to tip. After not being able to get my full set which I had an appointment for and making me bleed I really don’t think anyone deserved a tip. It’s rude to stare at the screen when people are paying. I don’t recommend this place solely for the fact that they do not even acknowledge you or honor appointments. As I was sitting in the corner I saw people come in and get helped right away. Listen to your customers and say hello it’s not hard.

I had a great experience getting a Mani Pedi here with my friend. The prices are fair, and the place is nicely decorated. I highly recommend this for a friend's outing.
Edit: we've come back a few times now and are still very happy. It is always clean and the technicians always try their best to recreate what we would like. They make sure to check in throughout the process to make sure it's exactly what I was looking for.

Your response suggests that you stand by your position, but the reality is that your salon failed to meet the basic expectations of honesty, transparency, and quality. Your lack of accountability and the subsequent excuses only amplify the problem. The evidence lies in the substandard outcome of your services, which has left me incredibly dissatisfied. I was willing to pay if you have communicated that from the beginning, also all my requests were dismissed.

I told them that I have my engagement party. I showed them what I wanted in terms of color and shape. They juggled me between 2 technicians. I asked for prices just to know before starting the application. I showed both of the technicians the pictures before starting and I emphasized that I have my engagement and pictures of my hands.

The job was done very poorly, no proper cuticle removal, color was not what I wanted, the nails were very thick opposite to my request.
They asked me to pay extra 25 to apply a chrome dust which they didn’t have. And that wasn’t communicated at all before starting.
The manager has no customer service skills nor the technicians. They don’t care about you or about the importance of their job.

BOTTOM LINE: Do not come to this salon for your important event.

I love this place, and recommend it to everyone. I brought my niece for her 10th birthday, we've done a bridal party there, brought my mom, and just gone myself. Whether it is shellac, nail extensions or a wax I am always happy.

One time a shellac nail lifted off same day of manicure and I called them, they fixed it no charge the next day. No problems.

They are always kind and the place is always clean. It's bright and lovely. Very happy with this location

Polite staff, relax and modern setting and great experience with private room for couple's mani pedi. My wife and myself really enjoyed.

Went for my appointment, at the end, paid over $100!
Extra charges for removing nails, etc, etc.
Yes, the nails look nice, but not worth the cost.
Regret going here. Could have went elsewhere, and got 2 sets for that price.
If the price is not going to be the price posted, they should state the extra charges before getting a big surprise at the end.

This is my favourite nail shop- Amy makes my nails look amazing every time! She’s a perfectionist, and super sweet. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience I have every time I go to this salon. Kate and her staff do a wonderful job looking after the clients. Always very happy with my gel nails also the pedicures. I would highly recommend this salon, it has to be the best around. I look forward to my next experience.

I went with my daughter to enjoy manicures together. What an amazing experience. I was able to have Fiona and my daughter had Kym. They were beyond amazing with us and made our experience something special. Thank you so so much for such a wonderful time. We can't wait to come back.

I used to love this place, however it got busy and the lever of service declined drastically. I had a pedicure recently and i had not even gotten off the seat and the lady was cleaning the seat under my legs. Prices are ridiculous. Same or better service for a lot better prices can easily be found around the region. I was quite sad and disappointed.

Super friendly staff, brought my neighbors little girl there, to have her nails done for the first time! She loved them! Well I have a pedicure. Nice and clean too! And open Sundays.

I have been here many times before and have had great pedicures. Today I got the Deluxe Pedicure and Kim was the service provider. I don’t think I can ever go back to the regular pedicure again. I love the regular one but Kim did a fabulous job and it was well worth the extra fee. If you’re looking for something special, the Deluxe Pedicure is fabulous.

Best nails i’ve ever gotten! They are exactly what i asked for and Micheal couldn’t have done a better job! Super satisfied with the customer service and my nails!

I just started coming here for regular pedicures and biogel nails. I recommend Michael and Megan as I've had the best experience with them so far. I usually get a massage with my pedicure and I highly recommend Megan for this service. I will continue to be a regular customer!

Went for a shellac manicure and pedicure on Sunday. Today is Wednesday, and my shellac is cracking off and nails are breaking. I do not do anything rough with my hands so there is no excuse. The pedicure is also awful. My toe nails are different shapes. The painting is bumpy and also cracking. Awful. Will never go again.

I am new to town and trying to find a good place to go to - I don't mind spending the money for a great job but I feel I paid too much for the quality I received. It wasn't terrible, but I have had better for less money. I was there on October 1st for a gel fill and shellac pedicure.

Some of my gel nails are thicker than the others, and the tech didn't check that, nor did she check to make sure that the nails were the same length (both standard practice in other nail salons I've been in). There was very little communication between the two of us as I found she spoke mostly to her co-worker. The salon was also very busy, so possibly she felt rushed to get me done.

The pedicure is also average - it started to chip in one place, and I normally get four weeks out of a shellac pedicure.

I see they have lots of great reviews, so maybe I got them on an off day when they were really busy.

Huron Nails gave me the exact experience I ask for maybe even better than what I ask for every single time.

First time at this salon, I asked for black nail polish but when I went outside and even in the lighting of my own home they look blue/purple. Sent an email explaining and was basically told nothing was wrong with my nails and I should like them. I've gone to multiple different salons and never had this problem when asking for black nail polish. Over priced and not very good customer service.

I am not mistaking salons. I booked over the phone using my married name on Monday since the website wouldn't load properly.

My mom and I have come here often for pedicures and have loved our experience. However this time I came by myself to remove my bio gel nails, I had told the person on the phone that I wanted them completely removed with some clear nail polish and they said sure no problem. When I got there for my appointments the lady named Maya barely talked to me and went on her phone halfway through to FaceTime her family. I brushed it off because of all my other positive experiences here. As I left and I paid, I realized she only took the nail polish off and not the tips. I came back in and asked for the tips to be removed and they said “oh but it makes your nails stronger” I wanted it all removed not just the nail polish. I then asked what I was paying for then since it wasn’t all removed and no one could give me a clear answer. She then went over my nails with the grinder and said “there your done”. When I looked the tips were still there so I stated again, I want the tips removed. She then started to get frustrated and got up and left, another lady who I believe is named Faith finished my nails for me and gave me what I wanted. She had said halfway through “she didn’t want to remove them because now your nails are soft” I don’t feel like they should determine that. I’m pretty frustrated with this experience because I feel like it was something simple and straightforward and should have been done without compliant. Overall, I felt like I was being rushed this time and as if Maya did not care about the service she was providing. I also was not offered hand cream by her at the end.

AVOID this salon!
Develop green nail syndrome (chloronychia), first time in my life after visiting only once. Salon is using insanitary nail implements.

So, we are avid mani and pedi enthusiasts. Having recently gotten married and relocating to the KW region has been challenging, especially when it comes to finding service providers you want to support. Good friends introduced us to Huron Nails so we gave it a chance. The first time I got a nail infection after my pedicure, but things happen and I’m sure it was unintentional. My husband really enjoyed his foot massage and wanted to give the place another shot - so we go again, this time fearful of another infection I only opted for a manicure. My husband, the ever local business supporter opted for a pedi. He definitely got treated quickly while I waited for someone to be free, mind you for the appointment we had booked. Kid you not, they asked me four times if I was getting a shellac mani and what colour I wanted, I repeated myself over and over again until I was just frustrated with the lack of customer attention. Not to mention they’re okay massaging your feet but somehow your hands are off limits. Fast forward to today - my husband had his assistant set up an appointment for a pedicure for himself and ensured to request someone senior with plenty of experience. I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that he got the most newest and junior technician, he’s not actually sure if she was even qualified, but he kept giving her the benefit of the doubt until he left with lotion all over his legs. When he brought it to the attention of someone they started yelling at the person who did the pedicure. After this they proceeded to wipe his legs of the lotion. After this escapade they asked if he still wanted his manicure, but of course he was ready to run at this point. No one offered to even discount this ($58) terrible experience until he stood up for himself. $40 later for a mens pedicure we vow to not return.

Took my daughter here one day to get pedicures. The staff were very kind and accommodating and made the little one feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The prices are great and the nail technician was very clean and careful which I appreciated!

They do a great job on fills and shaping. They're pretty good at designs, too. Colors are slightly limited compared to other salons, but they're really friendly. Always have time for walk-ins, I've noticed.

Needed a new local place to get my Pedis done at and this was just down from my work.

I was booked in with Mindy who did a fantastic job caring for callouses, ingrowns, and general care. Her foot massage is to DIE for. I would return JUST for that.

Make sure to bring flip flops if you get a regular polish done! I forgot and even after sitting for a bit I still managed to rub the paint off a toe. My bad!

First time there after I saw one of their posted pics. Not only is the salon very nice and comfortable to be in, look at these nails tho. Michael did a stellar job and all the staff were very kind and helpful.

By far the most gracious and people focused salon I have been to in the KW region. Impeccable quality and they take pride in ensuring every person feels welcomed. Loved my experience. I got a mani & pedi here. The price was fair, utensils were clean, and workers were so friendly. The service was fast and my nail tech took his time. This was honestly the best mani pedi I’ve ever gotten. I didn’t get a chance to get my nail tech’s name but he was very friendly and did an amazing job. Will definitely be returning (with cash this time, bc paying with card you can’t tip).:)

Really pleased with this salon. The location itself is very clean, it was obvious that cleanliness is a priority to them. Disposable nail instruments, plastic pedicure tub liners, sanitizing the pedicure station right after I was done, etc. Good value, gel polish mani/pedi was $80. You can also book online, which was really convenient. Very peaceful environment. There's also a private room you can book.

I felt extremely rushed. I had booked it online with someone and had someone else do my nails. Wasn't a good experience overall would never go back.

My friend has told me many times to try out this salon and today we finally got the chance to go together! It was my first time and my first impression of the salon and staff was that it was so clean and so welcoming. We both got an Acrylic refill. They really took their time with shaping and helping me find a color for my manicure! The selection of colours are phenomenal and I will definitely be coming back!

It's easy to book an appointment on their website. Very clean and they have really nice staff. They offer waxing which is great as well. Kate is my go to person and she is very lovely. I recommended them to my family to get their nails done and they loved it.

First time ever getting a pedicure and this lovely lady Anna made me feel like I must be in heaven. From the very beginning to end I was amazed with everything she did, it was the most amazing massage I’ve ever had, my feet and legs are the most moisturized they’ve ever been and my toes look AMAZING. After moving to the area and a few months of COVID, I was desperately needing my nails done. I found Huron Nails in June and had my first appointment with Rachel for bio gel nails and shellac polish. Rachel did a fantastic job. I like hand painted designs on my nails and she has never disappointed. She has done my nails 3-4 times now. They last so well the only reason I have to have them redone is they grow too long otherwise they still look perfect. The salon itself is lovely, has a nice atmosphere, and is clean. Have to book an appt for my Christmas nails very soon! Thank you Huron Nails and Rachel!

Was thrilled with this place my first visit even though I did not get the person I booked with. He had started with someone else even though I booked my appointment a week in advance and was actually early for my appointment. Had a lovely girl named Rachel instead and she did an amazing job! So good that I booked her for my wedding nails 3 weeks in advance.
When I came in to get my wedding nails done, Rachel wasn't there so I had someone else (who didn't have a name tag). I told her it was for my wedding and they needed to be perfect like Rachel had done prior.

It is now Tuesday.my wedding was last Friday and my nails are all chipped. They are also all shaped different, so needless to say I have no close up pictures with my ring, or flowers.

I was also charged $70 for a solar refill (that is $35 on their website) and a ombre which is apparently a $20 upcharge.

Great nail salon. Mindy and Anna always do a fantastic job. Michael is a great nail artist for designs! I have been coming here for about a year and love it. Note that you need to bring cash for tipping as their machine does not have the ability to include tip.

I've lived in Kitchener my whole life and i've been to so many nail salons in KW, and no one has ever done as good of a job as Kate. She takes pride in her work and is so sweet.i got my first set done by her today and i am in LOVE. I highly reccomend visiting Huron Nail Salon & Spa!

The experience was rushed. No time to relax, the manicure was machine like, sharp and abrupt, ice cold water for the soak. No massage. Did not tell me that my appointment could not be fulfilled at the onset and advised me half way through that I would have to return another time because of broken equipment. I booked a day ahead, the claim is that she had not been told the equipment was broken. There was only four employees there. Ridiculous waste of my time.

A very relaxing environment, they do amazing work there, the staff I'd so friendly and professional, they open fresh tools in front of you and send you home with them at the end of your appt. I've tried many places in the area and Huron Nails salon is by far the best. I went in my last appointment showed Michael my Steelers logo and colours and he came up this this design and did an amazing job paying attn to detail to make the logo perfect! Thank you Michael!

Great nail salon. I have only been here a few times as I just moved to Kitchener a few months ago- but I love it! The salon itself is gorgeous and very well kept. Staff are super friendly. I have always been super picky about where I go to have my nails done. I have only been going to one salon for almost 7 years. But I have to say, this salon has taken the #1 spot in my books!

Over all bad experience both my nails and my friends were done wrong cracks on mine choppy on top aswell. They didn't listen to her with her length or shape and hurt her finger aswell. Nails are overall not great at all and the techniques I seen being done I've never seen before they clearly weren't good. They are also over priced especially when coming out unhappy. Wouldn't recommend to anyone ever only positive note is that the decor was beautiful

Awesome service. I got a shellac pedicure from Lana and she does it so perfectly. I wanted coffin ombre nails and Rachel did an amazing job with little tweeks of her own. She remembered every detail and everytime I've been here I've loved the atmosphere and the service

This was my first time visiting Huron Nails. I came all the way from Toronto because of the reviews and the pandemic. This place is incredibly clean, modern inside, great customer service with better services and a even better talent working there. There is this young gentleman that does nails- which is absolutely amazing, talented, detail oriented and hands down, one of the best nail stylists Ive ever used. 5 stars all the way! I had to wait a little longer then my appt but it was busy so that is understandable. My only issue is that they do not put a sign stating you can *only tip cash* which causes people to not tip the stylists as much as they should. They should put a sign or tell their customers over the phone when they book so people can tip the proper amount deserved.

Its very clean and nice atmosphere.i ve been there twice.the first time i was very happy the guy that did my nail was gurl.the second time somebody else did it and i am disappointed and they charged me 5$ more because i asked for different colors on each finger (it does not include as a DESIGN). Anna was not friendly at all, won’t go back there again.

This is seriously the best nail salon I have been to in my area. It is a bit on the pricier side; however, the quality is worth it. I typically get acrylics and have had them last me for three weeks. The staff there are very pleasant and helpful and the facility is always clean. Truly a treat!
