We only went for chai and i tell you i never had a better kadak chai here in Toronto. Atmosphere outside in a parking at 11 was like i was back home. I will definitely try their food next time.
Anybody missing Hyderabadi/Irani Tea From India, This is the place to visit & get some nice cookies/Osmania Biscuits, puffs etc etc Plus Try Some Biryani!
Been going here for chai and occasionally got some biryani & Paya. Use to be 5/5 place for chai. Now it’s just coloured warm water. Do not recommend at all. Only thing it’s up to mark now is paya and seasonal haleem. Anyways biryani was never good before. It’s now just a smokers spot in their parking lot.
Anytime if you are missing Hyderabad food, this is your place. Biryani is awesome. Chicken 65 reminds u of Hyderabad. And chai is amazing. You also get sweet pan here so check it out
Best Hyderabadi Irani Chai in Ontario! The best item on their menu. Unbeatable taste and quality of the tea. Reasonably priced but, honestly I wished they didn't double the tea price within last 2 years.
Take out service, Exclusive Tea, Delicious Hyderabad Biryani, and Much more available under one roof. Nice place to meet Indian People and of different cultures also.
Food was very very good mashallah. Special thanks for sending the qulfi. Baghare baigan and dam chicken was a big hit. Tea was excellent. Kachori chat was delicious. People loved the Buryani and all food. Everyone was asking where did the food come from. Thanks once again.
Have been going to the restaurant for many years. Love their samosas, puff patties and similar other snacks. Their Irani chai and falooda are out of this world. They have reserved units where customers can dine-in as well which I hope will open very soon. Food is available for delivery with different companies. Call to confirm. Let's all support small businesses in our local community during these challenging times!
Wonderful catering experience! The kachori chat was a flavor bomb of perfectly balanced tastes and textures. The mutton biryani was really special - completely authentic Hyderabadi style, grandma approved. The Dam ka Murgh is popular for good reason - far tastier than a standard butter chicken or chicken tikka masala while still serving that addicting combination of tangy and creamy curry with chicken that melts in your mouth. Their Indian Chai hits the spot no matter what time of day. And the matka kulfi was the hit of the party - rich, complex golden notes in such a fun presentation - which is difficult to find this side of the Atlantic. They are busy, but very accommodating.
Ordered food at around 10: 30 pm on a weeknight. The biryani was pretty good, bagharay baingan were okay but the khatti daal was amazing! It reminded me of kadhi and the owner was very polite and helpful
Best chicken biryani in Scarborough! Awesome Iranian Tea! Really good customer service. When I called and ordered, he saved the biryani till I came at 10 pm to collect it.
I humbly request them to please NOT serve stale (Basi) food. I had couple of bad experiences with their egg puff and samosa. They tasted like they had been sitting for many many days. Their other food Biryani is also very ordinary and one occasion also tasted very stale. I want to mention staff is very friendly and they have a nice sign that they will serve free food for those who cant afford it. But their taste and food freshness left much to be desired.
Been to this place quite a lot.great cup of tea. Briyani and harleem is on the best in Scarborough. Highly recommend. Owner look very serious but a great person who always give something or the other.well like me hope he smiles more.
No taste in Goat Biryani (lamb) I had ordered from here yesterday. It was all lamb fat and was very oily (lamb fat), There was no taste in it, not at all spicy. My daughter didn't eat at all, i had to cook for her later. This was my time tasting them and will not try them again for sure. Seems to be over rated, instead of this Babu's goat biryani is better which i take often.
Their Iran chai is very good but apart from it rest of their food lacks hygiene. I got chicken 65 which was old, rubbery, and had HAIR in it, very bad experience.
Bought Kadhhu ka kheer just few minutes back it’s spoiled and very bad, no hygiene at this place. When I called in restaurant to inform about the taste and requested not to sell such food to people, he was saying ok ok for everything. Very bad experience #Dont buy food here# except irani chai.
Ordered mutton biryani and chicken 65. Being a hyderabadi myself, this biryani was an insult to hyderabadi biryani. There was no meat just bones with barely any meet in it. The chicken 65 was old chicken mixed in new masala. Some pieces were so hard. Really disappointed.never ordering from here
The Irani chai seemed good and probably the best one we had so far. The service was quick and easy. Again, surprised there is no dine in or would have tried some of their other fares.
The chai was simply amazing, heard great things about the Haleem and mutton biryani. The paan was out of this world. The owner Ather bhai is an amazing person.
Their tea is surely good but hygiene is definitely a concern. The workers who can be seen coming in and out of the kitchen to the main area do not wear a mask, makes me wonder what hygiene standards or covid protocols they maintain. Definitely not a place if you believe in eating at restaurants that maintain optimum level of hygiene. Don't think I'll visit again!
They have the best tea in Toronto. A must try and u will regret if u don’t. The food was just mesmerizing and amazing. We tried almost all the available dishes and nothing was an ordinary but absolutely distinctive flavors.
The best place to hang out for tea or some indian snacks. Biryani is not bad. They are trying hard to improve and bring more options for the crowd. Great work.
Samosa is too tasty, Chai is perfect Biryani is not too spicy (perfect). Haleem is the best. Beef puff is very yummy. And don't forget to try the khati dal. Yumm.it's very yummy.
Very Authentic Deccan Hyderabadi Food. Ordered for small gathering of 100 people. The food was fresh, hot, delicious with good quantity. All the dishes were very tasty such as Hyderabadi Dum Mutton Biryani, Qorma, Chicken 65, Haryali Chicken and Kaddu kee Kheer. I highly recommend food from Hyderabad Palace for small and big gathering. The staff and especially Mr. Ather took great care from taking the order to delivering it in a timely manner.
Amazing food very reasonable prices, everything on their menu is good, their tea is really good, biryani, chicken 65 and beef pickle is must try, if you like deserts try their caramel pudding. Overall a great resturant.
The taste of amazing irani chai makes you feel at home (Hyderabad). Here Mutton Biryani is the best that you could get it from anywhere else across GTA. Their patties are fresh and crispy and delicious. All the staff members are very friendly and the owner too. Must visit!
This place I love it. I was worried to go few times because it's all guys but I called and talk to a very nice guy and he went a extra mile for me. The biryani is soo good my brother loved it and I did too.the tea wow ppl who never tried authentic food& tea from India hydrabad. Stop by here! The spicy appetizers were so yummy Thank you so much Abdullah and staff
Best cha in town. Tried there chicken biriyani and dam ki keema. Recommended to my friends. Will try their lamb biriyani, a friend of mine also recommended that.
We had chicken biryani and chai from here. Food was fresh and very tasty as well! Treat for every biryani lovers. Highly recommend you guys to try their chicken Biryani and masala Chai
This place is an absolute gem. True to its name, some of the dishes i tried here are lip smacking. Do try their Irani chai and i bet no one else in GTA has that taste! Their biryani and haleem are pretty good too. You also get biscuits, mirchi bajji, egg bonda here. Cafes are an emotion to all Hyderabadis and you get such feel when you walk into the store. The prayers have been heard and authentic Hyderabadi cuisine is finally here!
Amazing service all the people work there are super friendly if you got no money you still get food Ask Abdullah there or Ather bhai and always get tea there.
If you are looking for the hyderabadi Biryani, yes this is absolutely the right place. You can also enjoy the tea, Haleem and other delicacies of Hyderabad. Also do try there chicken and beef puffs.
Good spot to get your Biryani fix. Their chicken 65 is also good and would recommend trying that. Topping it all off, the Iranian chai is the perfect way to end it off. The portion sizes are good as well. Will come again and recommend it.
Wow! Just visited this place for the first time for biryani and my special love for Hyderabad. The owner was so so sweet, the food was amazing and we had such a nice conversation around Hyderabad. He slipped a dessert for free in our parcel stating this is a little something for us We are going through a very hard time right now and this little conversation and gesture meant a lot to us, so THANK YOU
First off i would give 10 for food, tea, friendliness, feeling welcome inside and cleaness. I've have been coming down from Durham to this Plaza for over 30 years and this was my first time here. I meet Abdullah and had a nice conversation about how many cultures have similar food and dishes, but are called different things in their culture? Abdullah offed me their famous Indian Chai tea and it was smooth in my mouth. He then gave me a dish of food to try (Chicken Biryani). I took this home as I had ordered food from somewhere else earlier. I can tell you when i did dig in, the meal was yummy. Definitely will be ordering next time in area. A must check out place and they give FREE meal to those who can't afford it? This is a place for anyone who enjoys different culture food to check out. ? ? ️? ?
I am a regular who orders food for takeout every other day but, I had the worst experience today. Rudest staff that I’ve seen in a restaurant. Cannot answer a question. Has to caress his ego. Would never go back after today.
Should’ve provided my review earlier, but didn’t realized that I did not, which is an injustice in itself. I savour the flavours of Hyderabad at Athar’s Hyderabad Palace, and the service is great with the same Hyderabadi “Hau Nakko Maahoal” I always look forward to their Irani chai with Biskoat, Biryani and Chicken 65. All the best!
I grew up in Hyderabad but haven't been there since the 80's. There are a lot of pretenders of hyderabadi cuisine, but this unassuming place is bar none the best there is. This is authentic Nizam cuisine as I remember from my childhood. So worth driving up from downtown. I would gladly pay double for the quality of food these guys put out. No one in this city can match this place in terms of authentic hyderabadi taste!
Hyderabad Palace has delicious food & excellent customer service! Their food gave me Real Hyderabadi Taste in Toronto:)
For my Wedding Anniversary, I ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken Korma & Chicken 65 & in dessert we had Double Ka Meetha & Gulab Jamun. We throughly enjoyed the yummy food.forgot to mention, brilliant Tea made by Abdullah
