Everyone that I interacted with at I Am Physiotherapy was friendly & professional. That being said, I’ve never experienced a more hands off approach to physio before. I spent far more time alone in a room hooked up to a machine (tens/laser) than time spent 1 on 1 with my therapist.

At my preferred clinics (which don’t process MVA’s) I’m 1 on 1 with my therapist for the duration of the appointment. At I Am Physiotherapy I would spend the first 5-8 minutes of my appointment with Ramya before having a laser placed on my ankle. A timer would be set for 10 minutes & she would leave the room to treat other patients. When the timer went off she would return, move the laser to my hand, reset the timer & leave the room again. When the second timer went off I was often prompted to use the bike for the duration of my appointment while she continued seeing other patients.

If I hadn’t attended physio elsewhere I might be satisfied with my treatment here but the contrast is stark. Having one therapist simultaneously treating multiple patients is far more lucrative for the clinic & makes scheduling easy for the client but there’s a significant trade off in terms of the level of care received. I’ve made more progress in 2 sessions at a hands on facility (for the same price) than I did in 3 months of treatment at I Am Physiotherapy.

I’d also like to note that I was asked to leave a positive review on 3 separate occasions. I’m not someone who typically leaves reviews so the first occurrence I brushed off but being asked a second & third time didn’t sit well with me & doesn’t bode well towards the legitimacy of the rest of their reviews.

Carol is excellent! She explains to me my treatment and the effects of it. Most importantly she is gentle and caring.

Sreejith has really helped me with treatment after a car accident. I attended the clinic and received excellent care and different types of exercise that help me recover faster. The clinic is nice and organized and I highly recommend for any treatments. The staff is wonderful and accomodating.

Would give Sreejith Kurup more than 5 stars if I could! I have been dealing with lower back pain for 7 months now and had been to 5 different doctors who all told me that I was ok (including ER). It wasn’t till Sreejith Kurup conducted a thorough assessment and took the time to listen to my symptoms that he was able to quickly figure out the root cause of my injury. I wish I had seen him sooner as it would’ve saved me months of pain and unanswered questions. Couldn’t recommend him more!

I had been having shoulder pains that restricted my mobility for months. After providing Ramya with my X ray and ultrasound reports, she was able to quickly develop a recovery plan. Ramya was extremely knowledgeable, patient and efficient in taking time to firstly understand the problem and carefully plan treatment. Following the home care plan she gave, within 7 days my mobility improved by almost 50 %. It’s been another week and there is additional improvement. I have been to 2 other physiotherapy clinics in Newmarket within the last year for unrelated issues. None can compare to IAM, their services are superior, services excellent, while maintaining a humble and genuine approach to wellness… not to mention the parking and location. Definitely and highly recommend.

This location makes you feel welcome and you are not rushed. I am very thankful to have have found the “I AM Physiotherapy Clinic”. I have been dealing with a back injury for over a decade and have tried countless methods to resolve the issue with no success. This was until I came to the I AM Physiotherapy Clinic. After just a few short sessions I have finally made the breakthrough I have been looking for all of these years. The IAM physiotherapy clinic has clean and well-organized rooms and waiting/receiving rooms and is following all the COVID-19 protocols. The staff are very friendly, polite, and professional. Foremost of them is my physiotherapist, Ramya Murugan, who is very punctual and well knowledgeable in her field of work endeavour. She explains clearly all the regimens of therapeutic exercises necessary for the quick recovery of my left shoulder which was inflicted with supraspinatus and calcific tendinopathy as revealed in my shoulder's ultrasound and x-ray. She explains to me that my case will take several weeks for the full recovery due to the nature of this kind of disorder.

Right now, there are a lot of improvements from day 1 and hopeful that this malady of my left shoulder will be over soon. I would not think twice about recommending the IAM physiotherapy clinic to everyone to address their physiotherapy needs.

Ramya has done an excellent job with my daughter and I helping us with our recovery from a car accident. The physio has helped us with the pain. She has been great in recommending some stretches to do at home.

Sree is great at what he does, such a respectful gentleman who knows exactly how to approach the problem. His treatments were very effective and helpful for me and after a few sessions I felt much better in my lower back (it was so painful that I could not even turn now I can do daily activities without pain). The atmosphere is great and they follow all the COVID-19 protocols. The team is caring and friendly and they work together with great coordination. Very satisfied with their services and will definitely recommend this clinic.

Great treatment (mostly seen by Sreejith) and a friendly staff. Just went back recently due to an ongoing neck issue and am already feeling better after a few sessions. Originally went in 2 years ago when I was in extreme pain and within 2-4 weeks I would say it was substantially improved. I would recommend this physio location without hesitation if you really want to get better.

I saw Sreejith Kurup when i got lower back pain. He identified the source of the problem quickly and provided a set of exercises to help it out. This was nearly two years ago and I have been doing the exercises and the number of flares up has been reduced considerably.

My wife had a severe hip pain. The physiotherapist, Mr. Sreejith Kurup, pinpoint the injured location in the initial assessment session and started the treatment. After few treatment sessions the pain is gone and I would like to thank him for his excellent work and his friendly attitude. I certainly recommend him to my friends.

Fantastic place! Make sure to ask for Sreejith Kurup. He is very knowledgeable about his craft and doesn’t overpromise like majority of places do! I’ve been battling lower back pain and sciatica for 3-4 years, after only 4-5 visits my sciatica is gone and I’ve seen a vast overall improvement. If you’re pain, give this place a shot.

I am a senior and am absolutely thrilled with the treatment that I received from Sreejith at the IAM Physiotherapy clinic in Newmarket. For the first time in years, my back is no longer aching like it has been for what seems forever, when I did the least little bit of gardening, vacuuming, carrying groceries, etc. Now, I am able to do these things easily and with no pain!
Sreejith took the time to explain why I was experiencing pain, and why the exercises he gave me to do would help the problem. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced physiotherapist and I highly recommend him!

The end of March I fell on the ice and began experiencing pain in my left knee. Shock Wave Therapy was recommended. In our first appointment the end of May, Sreejith identified the source of pain was not a knee issue, but both IT Bands. With his professional physiotherapy combined with technology and the exercises he has given me to do, the pain has diminished greatly and I'm almost back to normal. I highly recommend this treatment.

I am so grateful for the knowledge of Sreejith Kurup the physiotherapist at the iam Clinic in Newmarket. When I first went there, I could barely walk and was in so much pain from my Rectus Formus. On the first day, Sreejith was confident that he would have me walking strongly again in 2 weeks. The staff is very professional and the iam clinic follows all the Covid-19 rules, which makes you feel safe. I am happy to say that I am back to taking walks around my neighbourhood. A great physiotherapy clinic. They are very on time and keep the clinic clean. All the COVID-19 protocols are being followed. Staff are very friendly, welcoming, and kind.
