Don't even try to use ICAS, their service is zero, infact if it's possible to give no star, I will gladly do. I was told my school can send my Certificate electronically to them and they provided me their email address. I contacted my school, paid my school to send my Certificate to ICAS directly which my school did and after 3weeks that my school sent my certificate. One of ICas assessment team sent me an email to inform my school to send my certificate (hard copy) via a courier. As in I don't get it. Where's the money coming from? You guys can do better and stop wasting people's time and money.

Review of ICAS
My certificate was assessed in 2009 by ICAS, I needed just a copy of the same report for very important job opportunity, all that ICAS needed is to press print and charge me whatever amount they wanted, I really don't care because this is very important. I cant talk to anyone on the phone number provide on their website so I email as directed.

I got a message back after 72 hours acknowledge my file number 03071002, they outlined all my certificates assessed but they now want me to re-apply with new, strict condition and the fee which I don't care to pay.

This is a big setback because these reasons
1. It takes 6-7 weeks to re-assess my certificate.
2. The new condition means I have to go back to my school which I left 3 decades ago and ask for additional documents
3. Email can't do justice for simple exception needed and they are not picking up and do not allow 1: 1 because I leave close to Guelph except for drop-off of original document.

I am at their mercy, I might perhaps lose the job if they cant make simple exception within days for me to have JUST a copy of my assessment.

Worst ECA assessment service I would say. They would need at least 20 weeks (+/- 5 months) after receiving complete documents to provide IRCC ECA assessment.

Didn't get the work done, took too long to respond, and gave some lame excuse as to why my documents weren't official (even though they were), WES got the same evaluation done for me within a week using the same documents

Never write It takes a really long time. It took too long to get the documents, so I ended up canceling it. Feeling cheated.

What kind of joke of a company is this? There’s no way to give feedback and no way to speak to someone on the phone to get clarification. Their reps can do whatever they want, reply when they want because there’s no accountability. Use your hard earned money elsewhere!

It took 5 months for my report! Wish I read reviews before I paid all that money and went with someone else. They send you an email that something is missing and then take one month to reply to you and that's with every single correspondence! Nothing was missing though. Go with someone else!

I do understand the frustration while awaiting for the status update from ICAS but wants to share my experience. I was quite upset initially with the overall process as my status wasn't moving from "Additional info required. Communication sent by email"
This is the step that everyone needs to understand as they already mentioned the assessment will start once completed documents are received by the office. You need to be proactive and help yourself in completing this process by contacting your institution. Once they receive the required docs, everything seems to complete within their time frame at least in my case. The email communication throughout the process wasn't bad at all.

Probably one of the worst, if not the worst assessment organization. They're extremely slow and office staff are extremely unprofessional. The Government of Canada should consider reviewing their status to complete assessments, and possibly consider removing their accreditation status as a legitimate agency. Avoid, avoid, and most importantly, avoid.

2 ans d’attente pour recevoir l’évaluation. J’ai eu le temps d’avoir ma résidence permanente et ma carte. Heureusement mon intuition m’avais dit: paye un second organisme. J’ai donc payé WES avec un résultat en 30jours. FUYER ICAS! Totalement inutile et ça vous évitera de perdre 250$ et votre temps

Choosing WES please. It just take about 12 days to complete the application. HOWEVER, ICAS will take care of your case forever!

Impossible to reach out to ICAS after you pay for their services. No phone, emails bounced back, link they provided expired. Conclusion: you have to restart a new application and repay and wait forever! Way more frustration than any other services in Canada.

Un abus clair de petit pouvoir et un manque de professionnalisme évident. Bloquer les dossiers, des délais de traitement hallucinants.quand on sait que derrière les enjeux sont essentiels (des démarches de recherche demploi ou d'immigration) c'est une honte! La concurrence est bien plus professionnelle. Fuyez cet organisme, ce sont des vrais escrocs et ça mériterait que les médias ou les instances politiques se penchent sur leur cas.

Do not go with ICAS! Processing time is for 6 months! Go with somewhere else like WES, my wife went to WES and got her credentials in just 2 weeks. THIS COMPANY IS A WASTE OF TIME
