We had the best experience with Ideal Bike in Wellington!
I was planning a surprise bike "trip" for my husband and phoned multiple times to make sure I was getting the right bikes and accessories for our needs. Every time, they were super friendly and helpful. On the day of, they were really kind and even though it was very busy there, the man worked really hard to get everyone bikes as fast as he could. He taught us how to choose helmets that fit us (and how to adjust them). He taught us how to use the gears on the bike, etc. When we got back, he asked how it was. I could go on and on but I will leave my review at: It was a perfect day on the trail and we cannot WAIT to go back and rent bikes from there again.

Ed is very knowledgable and friendly. The bike was just what I was looking for too. Highly recommended.

The process of booking and coordinating pick-up for our rentals was extremely smooth. Unfortunately our original bike plans were derailed by some poor weather, but Ed was very understanding and was happy to accommodate us. We hope to be back soon!

We had such a brilliant day out on our Ideal Bike rentals, cycling between different wineries and breweries in Prince Edward County. Ed was super friendly and helpful throughout, and even opened up for us in Wellington despite it being out of season. He gave us tips on where to go and made sure we were happy with the bikes before setting off. The bikes themselves were really comfortable and everyone at the different places we visited was very impressed we'd cycled in the winter snow! It was such a good way to see the area, and as we rode back to Wellington with the sun setting over the snow-covered fields it was really magical. I'd 100% recommend Ideal Bike if you're thinking of cycling around PEC.

Such a great experience. We were a bit nervous since we haven’t been on outdoor bikes in 10+ years, however the bikes were so comfortable and easy to ride. Also, the location of Ideal bikes couldn’t be more convenient. A saddle bag, bike lock, route map and advice also provided! Highly recommend if you’re in Wellington.
