I recently visited Akil and was extremely satisfied! The attention to detail and skill exhibited during the haircut were beyond what I had expected. The atmosphere was so warm and Akil's friendliness made it a great experience. Definitely my go-to place for grooming now!

Heard good things about this place, so I decided to check it out. Booked an appointment with Pheonyx and I couldn’t be more impressed. He set me up with a great cut (the cleanest fade I’ve ever had) and showed me how to style it the way I wanted. The experience worth every penny and I will most definitely be back.

Akil Is my go to guy. I used to hop around barbers within the gta and I now call IDNTY my home. Akil is professional and handles everything in a timely manner whilst without rushing. I fully recommend IDNTY and Akil as your next barber stop

Pheonyx did a great job with my hair, giving me a perfect skin fade and combover. He was extremely friendly and allowed me to work on an emergency at work on my phone, all while cutting me up patiently.

Arlindo my guy! NEVER disappoints! He's just as wicked with scissors as he is with clippers. It's the European touch he puts on his cuts nicest guy always a quick clean cut.

Ive gotten 2 hair cuts at this location 1 from Sebastien and 1 Andres.both very nice guys.both took their time with the haircut and delivered what I asked for.would definitely go back to them again.

Very clean place with a lot of great barbers. But, I strongly recommend Tommy, he is a clear professional at his craft and more importantly consistent with his clean cuts, been going to him for years now and its always a chill and comfortable experience. Down to earth type of dude, super easy to talk and collaborate with to help you get the exact cut that you want or best fits you. Thanks again Tommy, you are very appreciated!

I've been getting my hair cut by Tommy for years now. High-level consistency every time and he's easy to communicate with to properly achieve the look you want. Highly recommend getting your cuts by Tommy or any of the other talented individuals here!

Great place to get a haircut, but overall overpriced for what it is.

My issue isn't with the price as much as it is with the service received for it. I have gone to Shawn/Sean a few times, and he's a cool guy. However, right off the bat almost always atleast 10-15 minutes late for the appointment. I usually come during my lunch break so that makes me late going back to work. Even if I don't have any commitments, what's the point of booking an appointment when it's not going to be on time?

For the haircut, while it's good quality, there's no consistency between cuts. If I'm paying $45 (after taxes and "service fees"), I need it to be a proper cut every single time. Sometimes my hairline is pushed back, sometimes the sides are cut too high. Sometimes the top isn't even cut, and when asked, it's done quickly and sloppily at the end of the cut. Again, I'm paying $45 for a cut, not getting it for free.

Overall everyone at the shop is super rad and really passionate about their work (although they seem to care more about # of clients than quality). Either way, these are honest and objective observations. I've noticed that alot of the reviews on here aren't that honest either.

It's 2021 now, don't be scared to change businesses. There's so many other barbers in the city that charge lower for a similar or even better cut.

I go to IDNTY heartland every time I need a fresh cut. The service is professional, the environment is chill, and all of the cuts are neatly done! I go to Jaelin as my barber and he always provides a great experience as well as style pointers. An overall excellent barbershop.

Was in need of a professional cut for an upcoming wedding. I booked with Jaelin Mah and when I came in, he was amazing! Very friendly and nice individual to talk to while getting a haircut also did a very nice job within 30-45 minutes.

Went here for the first time today and got a cut from Mylz. I had very little idea of how I wanted my hair to be done and put lots of trust into him to change my hairstyle from straight to a wavy/textured style and everyone there was very nice and I enjoyed conversation with them. The hairdresser Tommy is the absolute best. He has an insane attention to detail, and leaves no hair out of place. He will dedicate so much time perfecting every inch of his canvas. He's honestly a serious artist. I've been going to him for a few years and I refuse to see anyone else. I always feel my best after a haircut or beard shaping by him. If anyone else wants to know what it's like to get a haircut by a real artist, I'd suggest to contact this shop and ask for his Tommy!

Started going to the Brampton location when they opened up and got cut by Andres. Ever since that first cut, I haven't looked back and I'm following his move to the new Heartland location. Andres always takes his time to give his clients the best cuts and you can tell he genuinely enjoys his craft. Cannot give more praise, book with him!
