I would recommend beef roast and Porotta, which was really good. The beef packed a punch.
Porotta was flaky and warm… just as what we expected… really loved it.

I was really disappointed with Kappa Beef Mix.
It cost us $13 on uber eats was a total joke. Got 2 pieces of beef and in top of that no flavour. Totally not worth it.

Very poor customer service. Food is normal but poor quantity. They did not even bring us water or checked if we need anything until we had to open the door for them to hear the sound of the door to come out and check. We then asked for some curry and they said they ran out of everything. They told us that they will bring some gray for the food and guess what. They brought it when we had already finished and was there to pay. Very sad and unsatisfied.

Ordered porotta and beef and I can say it was just average. The bread was not at all soft and the curry should was made in a haste and we can clearly see the taste difference. Not satisfied with the food but excellent customer service.

Oh man what a place. The idiyappam with the chicken curry made me miss home a little. The place is very welcoming and this is a spot you should not miss out.

Extremely disappointed with the food. Ordered porotta-beef curry and kappa-fish curry combos yesterday but both of the items were not at all tasty and not cooked well. I’ll never ever buy again from this restaurant.

The dosa was not cooked well, Chutney was so bad, and sambar was not tasty, it was bland. Being an Keralite who has loved there for 26 years, I know how it’s supposed be like. The Bru Coffee and egg puffs were good though. Service was also good. But the masala dosa disappointed me so much that I wouldn’t visit again.

I went to this restaurant thinking whether it'd be worth the hype or not. Actually, I was impressed with the food and the quantity served.

Their food is absolutely divine, specially their Kappa Beef mix and Chicken Mappas. Do try them in Scarborough and GTA area.

This review is based only on 1 item - got alfaham thinking it would be like the indian one! Very disappointed. It was a half cooked tandoori chicken! The spices weren’t tasty at all.

Very disappointed. The instagram marketing is so deceiving. Dosa was undercooked, the oil used had a strong odour and food was not tasty.

The worst Kerala chicken biriyani I have ever had in my life. Less quantity rice with a small Chicken piece. Raitha was nothing but water. We all got stomach upset after having their food. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I care about.

Chicken 420- this is like a sweet Indo-Chinese starter, I was expecting something more “kerala spicy” kind.
Beef roast (my partner’s review, I didn’t have it) : Felt unfinished as if it was just cooked in water, and some steps of preparation were skipped, felt like there was no masala. Very underwhelming and lacked that punch.

And the kicker, he had a bad case of food poisoning the whole night and the next day. There was something wrong with the beef as only he fell sick and I didn’t.

I feel bad about leaving a negative review for a small business from my home-state, as I want them to succeed, I might try again but this time for the tea and snacks and maybe even the chicken fry which has great reviews.

Trivandrum chicken fry was exceptionally good.

I visited the restaurant all the way from Hamilton after seeing the Instagram posts. Unfortunately I had a bad experience. There was significant delay in getting the food though we had placed the order via phone. Apart from the wait, we were disappointed with food as well. We had also ordered biryani, beef roast and fish curry and they were disappointing. I would probably not come back all the way from Hamilton. But definitely would want to see the restaurant to do better and improve the service. Good luck!

Finally good indian food in scarborough, you can taste they change up the recipe for each dish unlike other restaurants that use the same base for everything.

Excellent Customer Service! Great quality food and a brilliant menu to choose from. Hands down one of the best South Indian restaurants in town.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic South Indian dining experience.

Sorry to say this the chicken biriyani was worst.it was some uncooked rice and chicken. And the customer service was very bad they have acted like we never had a chicken briyani in our life.

I ordered porotta beef chicken fry idiyappam biryani and kozi curry. I didn't like the taste of the food.lots of improvement needs

We ordered beef roast and porotta for the new year. Porotta was way bad and it’s very hard, like not even cooked properly. Beef roast smells bad and all our friends got stomach infection.

Worst food experience in Toronto. I will not suggest anyone for kerala food from here. Not worth for each dollar spent.

Atleast give good food at the time of new year, instead of just thinking about profit.

I had a bad experience today (28/01/2023) not sure if this happens everyday. I was at the restaurant by 4: 30 pm after receiving the menu from the cashier it took a while to place my order. If you check the invoice the time the order was placed at 4: 51 pm and we received our food by 6pm please check the date stamp at bottom of the photo. Lack of management. Food was okay not a best one. I tried the tea that was too bad.

I absolutely LOVED it here! The food is so comforting and delicious. The people running the place are very nice and made me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes to try southern Indian food. I am Persian and mostly just eat Persian dishes but this place was such a good experience to try something new!

If you’re looking for flavourful Indian food, Idukki is a great place to eat for lunch, dinner or even a late night run! I had the chicken fry with podi, it was fresh and it wasn’t a bad price for the amount you get. I also had the kulukki drink and it was spicy yet sweet, something that took me by surprise. Not to mention the staff are really kind. Overall, the food was tasteful, the experience was great, and I would definitely eat here again!

The worst food I ever had in my life. We bought kappa and beef roast. After having them no time to get out from toilet. Though the food is priced high, the quality is very low. Masala used in beef is the worst I had. Me and all my friends who had the food got stomach ache and diarrhea. We also got biriyani as a refund after reporting the issue. The biriyani was also old stock and had a weird smell. We put it in garbage and saved our lives. At least make the food with minimum quality. I didn't had such experience from any restaurants I visited till now. Stay away from this restaurant and save health.
