It's ikea, what do you expect. Staff were helpful when needed. Staff were very happy and courteous, which was nice to see. Facilities were clean and food was good.
We had a price discrepancy on a table and they honoured the price that was on the tag very quickly and without any trouble.
08 January 2024 8:59
We've been there a few times and half of the time, the self service terminals weren't working
18 September 2023 17:10
The worst service ever at Ikea burlington. I don't recommend it at all. Every agent over there tell your different story.awful experience
15 September 2023 2:20
01 place for all Home items you need. You will find almost everything for your new home or either its a renovation.
13 September 2023 19:29
Great furniture store but I don’t understand why the adhesive labels are so tough to remove, can damage the furniture using a scraper, the “warning” label on the ladder also left residue glue that is actually dangerous, our feet is getting stuck on that glue which I tried to scrape off with hot water and still won’t go away: (started damaging the wood also
13 September 2023 12:58
The return counters have been revamped but even then some of the return counter staffs are taking their own sweet time. They just sit staring at the computer screen for at least 5 minutes before calling the next customer? ! Each and everyone of the staff except for one very hard working lady does the sitting and doing nothing at one time or another.

The Express counter for returning 1 time should really be express. Staff was sitting waiting for the line to catch up to the next Express customer?
09 September 2023 11:28
I would give zero if I could. Store itself is good but the returns department has to be the most disorganized lengthy process out of any retailer. Now saying 2 hour wait for 30 people, for a company that’s is efficient everywhere else they’ve completely dropped the ball in this department.
03 September 2023 2:17
Try to go when it's less busy. Parking can be rough at times, and the crowds unbearable.
05 August 2023 6:57
Great place.
Found poor coordination between Sales Team and the Team at Warehouse/ Storage!
The Sales Team could not be certain what is or is not available in Store!
19 February 2022 15:56
Serving southwest Ontario, they didn’t ease up on building this monstrous store with full assortment. The virtual queue for returns is a nice touch vs the old style waiting room. Food prices have doubled in the past few years, but still a solid stop during a shopping day.
14 February 2022 3:22
I came in to return a recalled Malm Dresser which has caused child deaths in the past. Lady at the counter was extremely rude and treated me as if I was there to scam the system. She refused to issue a full refund claiming there was a sticker she needed to see or she would only give me $50. I had to stand in the store and pull the whole cabinet apart to find this sticker which she knew very well where it was hidden. She was simply hoping I would give up and could get me to accept the flat $50 payment instead of the full $168 that was owed to me. I am very disappointed w her derogatory and unwilling to help behaviour and will be not be returning any time soon! Pay and train your employees Ikea, so they don't cheap out on customer experiences!
29 January 2022 13:25
Had just what I needed at a fantastic price. I love that I am able to verify stock before going, not wasting my time! Also have great staff; polite, respectful and knowledgeable!
26 January 2022 2:00
What a waste of time. Searched inventory of items I wanted before going to the store to find out they were inaccurate and sold out. Staff just shrugged when asked. No one was enforcing wearing masks and people were walking around with them pulled under their chins.
21 January 2022 23:43
Clean, bright, organized, easy to find staff when you need them and they are knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent prices. Take a day.you'll need it.
18 January 2022 12:28
Me and my daughter dropped in there today, we were utterly disappointed with the amount of customers they were letting in their store. Walking down the aisles crowded people beyond 50% capacity, also some people not wearing masks.
As we were leaving.the store I noticed the associates were not wiping down the pinpad as customers were lining up to pay.
I guess profit outweighs the virus.
17 January 2022 16:01
This place was ridiculous as far as how many people are here shopping, parking lot was full, the food area was abit of a let down very assemble line setup and the one staff working was not friendly at all, I liked the kiosk setup so you can order and pay ahead of time. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here though next time I will try the north Toronto one.
12 January 2022 9:54
Very hard to find staff for questions/queries. Also, IKEA being a multinational Swedish/Dutch company with a massive chain of shops should really think hard about having products manufactured elsewhere other than China.
11 January 2022 3:19
What you'd expect from an IKEA store. It's well organized, has nice room displays/set ups, and staff are helpful. The store is right off the highway and is easy to access, with lots of parking.
09 January 2022 23:29
Kind and helpful staff. The girls in the warehouse went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for. Just sucks that most items I needed were out of stock.
08 January 2022 16:47
Supply chain must be hurting them. Out of stock on a number of items. But still lots of nice ikea stuff.
08 January 2022 4:00
Tried to inquire about a return. The return desk said they couldn’t help without a receipt. We asked if someone else could look deeper into this and help. The original manager came out- didn’t explain her role, refused to do the exchange without receipt, even though there is a 10 yr warranty. Unable to assist with any problem solving. When we asked to speak to the Store Manager to help get this resolved, to help us find other solutions, so we can finish the Reno’s on our IKEA kitchen. The Assistant manager right away called us “defensive”. We actually had to ask him to keep it professional! Stop name calling, and to focus on the business at hand - unbelievable. He was condescending, hyper and just seemed angry. I asked him to look at the Ikea Family Account to find my receipt please. Further, it was not helpful for the first manager to be also standing there interjecting saying the same thing over again and rolling her eyes at other staff laughing at us. It was a Gang up session, for some reason.

I asked for his business card, “I don’t have one”. I asked for the number for the General Manager, “you can’t contact them”. I asked him for in-store help “ you have to contact the Call Center”.

We were respectful, direct and tried to keep the conversation on track. Both managers were speaking at the same time and were totally disrespectful.

At the same time, my son called my phone while this conversation was taking place. As I lifted my phone to look. This “Manager” said I was taking his photo and I had to leave the store! Are you kidding!? ! Why the heck would I want HIS picture!? What is that going to do for me!? ! Again…. Hyper! I couldn’t even respond to that…it was so outrageous!

We were so embarrassed that this was happening In front of about 50 people. We left with our defective product and have been effectively kicked out of the store. $20,000 in a new kitchen purchase, plus so many other purchases…and this “manager” reacts this way. All of this unfolded in about 5 minutes. We also just bought our entire office suite from them.
When you go to a brick and mortar store you expect a little respect and dignity and an ounce of professionalism. There is always an alternative.

People like us take the effort to be a loyal customer and choose to shop in store, not online from the competition. But Instead we were met with a manager taking out his attitude on us, public embarrassment, finger pointing and Wild ACCUSATIONS! Then on his whim, with no reasonable grounds, expulsion from the store. How does this happen? You can’t treat people like this! Half of my home is furnished by IKEA. This is surreal.
This must be resolved. This isn’t right.
06 January 2022 0:39
Wow, big store with two floors of shopping pleasure! You could go broke there. Not enough time in a day to go through everything. Decent prices on great merchandise. Would've given 5 stars if vaccination passports weren't required for in-restaurant dining. No passports necessary if you're just shopping or ordering food for take out. Bathrooms located on both floors.
01 January 2022 13:57
They have some issues and it is not mainly due to supply but rather to communication / organization.
Very disorganized or provided me with false information. (customer support logs are available).
I got an email alert from IKEA stating a product I am watching is available. To confirm I chatted with customer support by the end of business hours and they confirmed the product availably. First thing in the morning I got a trailer and drove about an hour to Burlington be told the product is not available and it was sold yesterday (on the same day it arrived and mostly before I double checked with support). Seriously? Do you send 1000 emails if you got only 2 items? Is that fair for people time and waste of resources? Plus how up to date your system is if an item is sold and your customer support still says it is available?
Very disappointed for wasting almost half a day dragging a trailer around for nothing and maybe because I had higher expectations from IKEA.
29 December 2021 9:33
Ikea seems to have dulled down its designs and decor. I am hoping that this is just a temporary thing as a result of global materials shortages.
27 December 2021 11:03
Compared to North york and Vaughan they have less products. I usually go there for the food especially meatballs and mashpotato.
16 December 2021 4:44
Clean place with great selection of food and items to browse and buy!
My friends and I got their Swedish meatballs and fish and chips, along with garlic bread and Daim cake.
13 December 2021 8:45
Great location! It’s very clean and organized, and it never disappoints with customer service. Would highly recommend.
04 December 2021 10:11
Helpful people inside. Good layout but shortages on most items due to the pandemic.wish they had the kids play area.minus a star for letting that go.
03 December 2021 0:57
Their pick up service is a disaster! Send you to one location, only to wait forever then told to go to another
I understand there are supply issues, but so many other big stores have the curbside pickup down to an art. They need to make some serious changes
21 November 2021 21:45
It's always busy, we just created a kitchen with a kitchen designer and had a pretty good experience. It is like a giant maze that forces you into every single aspect of the store as they control you like The wizard of Oz. In order to break the spell you need to ask for assistance to find a way out or else you'll end up spending $1,000 over what you originally came for.
18 October 2021 2:29
It's a must see at least once. The layout the selection and quality is good, the customer service is great. Well done Ikea.
15 October 2021 3:23
It is a bit hard to use the electric vehicle Chargers given the proximity of the click-in connect. The store was fairly clean, and actively being sanitized.
12 October 2021 20:03
Went there to buy storage containers, the only ones they had were on the top shelf. So we asked for assistance to get them down but we were told they couldn't do it for safety reasons.
12 October 2021 2:28
Ikea keep the standard as it is, always world wide they have standard price with perfect quality.
21 September 2021 21:23
This is second times I went there from Mississauga, spent almost three hours each time and finalized what I wanted. But when I went to aisle area most of items were sold out and there was no notice in show room about the non availability of those items. Ultimately I have to walkout with unwanted stuff only. Very disappointed…
21 September 2021 16:18
It was great. Lots of parking available. Curbside pickup on a mattress. You got there and where back on our way home in like 5 minutes. Checked in and they immediately brought our mattress out.
03 September 2021 12:46
This store is always busy. Great selection of home furnishings. The restaurant is open and has great food and beer too.
02 September 2021 18:52
I love this IKEA. It’s always busy, yes, but any IKEA is really. They almost always have what I need in stock. I really like what they’ve done with the returns process during the pandemic as well.
25 August 2021 16:49
Hectic and way too packed for covid… far too many people in the store and no efforts to help maintain social distancing…
19 August 2021 12:47
Do not use ideas curb side pick, its a joke of a service. They will not pick your order for your allotted time slot so you will have to get it at a different time and day
08 August 2021 3:26
We have always had good experience from here. There is a wide selection of products. Customer service is great. Price varies depending on what you are buying, but there is something for everyone. Today we tried their curbside pickup. They call it "click and collect". Nice experience in general. The collection process is very straightforward. You park in one of the parking spots for curbside pickup and text them your order number and parking spot number. And one of their associates brings the items to your car. They charge $5 for curbside pickup. Totally worth it and saves you from the hassle of yourself navigating through their huge store, especially during covid days. Besides from the furniture, we enjoy their food too. Our favorites are fish and chips, veggie dogs, and ice cream cones.
03 August 2021 10:01
Worst customer service ever, 3rd time they had messed up my order, and they don't even say sorry, they advice you to read their policy which says they are not a responsible company
02 August 2021 12:12
Line ups were crazy. Took over an hour to get in. It was still busy in the store, but customers were not maintaining a proper distance. Great selection of products.
15 July 2021 11:15
Bad customer services for returns. I booked my appointment a week ago, and yet 45 min waiting. The door girl let walk in cut the line because they have big wardrobe stuffs instead of base of appointment.
13 July 2021 10:09
This store has signs saying masks are mandatory in the line up outside for those waiting to enter. Guess again you Swedish meatballs. Ikea does get to dictate what people wear outside their store. Once inside we found the staff rude, rushed and disinterested in helping. Can't see us ever returning.
12 July 2021 18:03
Not a good time to visit. Huge line up twice the length of the building. Fortunately, they let people in fairly quickly for that kind of crowd. The problem are the customers. People come with their whole family with some numbering 6 to 10 members including toddlers.don't understand how each of them have to be there to decide on what furniture.
Staffs were very helpful and hardworking.great crew and store. Best to visit after the pandemic unless you need items right now.
11 July 2021 10:29
Purchased our kitchen cabinets and PAX closet organizers from here and have no complaints. Also can grab a cheap meal or snack while you are there!
08 July 2021 10:33
Overall this location has very helpful staff and stock is organized quite well. Although I’ve noticed that they tend to carry less than the Etobicoke location.

The return line today took 3 hours for our turn. I soon found out why when it came to my turn. I purchased a tabletop last year in August, and still had my receipt as well as ikea family transaction history. The employee Bob could not find my order number even with the number and barcode. I then suggested he should try my ikea family history. After consulting his coworker, he was able to find the transaction. At this point he questioned why I didn’t return it during the lockdown but waited until now… when the province reopened. Of course I answered, despite my obvious bewilderment at the strange sense of logic that led to this question. He then asked me why I am not returning the item at Etobicoke where I purchased it. I didn’t mind answering his questions, but they were not in any way relevant to my purchase made within 365 days with proof of purchase. Makes sense why the line was 3 hours long for returns.
07 July 2021 6:58
We bought the 5 drawer chest online. There is 5$ charge for i guess someone has to get the order and bring to your car.
Its worth it than lining up to get to the store. Lol
I cant say much about the in store appeeance, staff attitude, etc since I was just asked for the last 4 digit and was told that it's ready at the back of the car.

I thought it will be loaded up too but she dash away. It was very busy day for IKEA.
18 April 2021 22:12
My go to IKEA store. The customer service here is consistently great. At returns, the service is efficient and friendly even during long waits.
17 April 2021 14:53
I got lost in here and decided to take a nap in one of the rooms and nobody woke me up. I got up after a few hours and walked home. My wife wasnt happy that I left her alone in IKEA: (
16 April 2021 16:49
When you enter the store you see on screens a live number of the people in the store. Measures have been taken to keep the number safe and area's that precovid would create lineups have been modified so they don't create those traffic jams now. They have done a great job keeping as many of the services going during COVID19. Restaurant is doing take out - no in store dining. Otherwise everything else is available.
10 April 2021 3:22
In my opinion there were way too many people strolling along every ausle way on each floor. Also what we went for saud it was in stock.drove 45 minutes to get there, only to find out that the online count of over 30 items, was in fact "ZERO". Complete waste of gas, time and patience dealing with the over crowed store.
20 March 2021 19:29
I truly believe there are people who have been trapped inside of this building for months on account of the maze that is the sales floor. 10/10 would get trapped against my will again.
02 March 2019 2:14
They have a lot of good furniture and products, but the absolute nightmare of dealing with their Whirlpool kitchen appliances (dishwasher and fridge) is the reason for the low rating. Endless repairs and broken parts, and neither Ikea nor Whirlpool will take responsibility for the terrible quality issues. I'd give them 0 stars if I could!
21 February 2019 18:44
Some Salespersons are unprofessional. I bought three bed frames from Ikea Burlington in September/18. For those three beds they sold two meadbeams. The salesperson doesn't know without the meadbeam how the bed frame can be assembled.
17 February 2019 4:04
The best new years eve destination in Burlington by far. Somewhat quiet, you can roam the aisles peacefully and enjoy some meatballs at reasonable cost - and even have some ice cream to boot.
07 February 2019 8:40
IKEA Burlington staff are very professional and friendly. That is what I love about this location.product is great. I would strongly recommend this location.
04 February 2019 10:30
It the closest IKEA near my home. It convenient and usually has product in stock when I need it. I don’t go there often perhaps twice a year but I find this store is always changing its displays and is clean. The service is good and the restaurant is clean is the staff amenable.
22 January 2019 8:02
Customer service is generally 9 out of 10. This might even be a five-star rating, if my visit hadn't been to return a product that was damaged in shipping (on an IKEA truck, not 3rd party). Of the various IKEAs around, this one seems to be the friendliest, whereas Etobicoke seems to be the best stocked.
17 January 2019 3:09
Every time we go there, our family returns home with inspiring ideas for our home, whether we purchase something or not. The staff are very friendly and items are not too difficult to find. Parking can get full, but there is always space to be found if you don't mind walking a short bit. We also usually have something to eat when we are there, especially love the dessert items. Kids are also fond of the place thanks to the kids play area and they also like pretending that each of the demo spaces are their homes! Always a good family experience when we go, just make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to walk through all the sections!
14 January 2019 4:31
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service! Ikea provided an INCORRECT kitchen design, and refusing to own up to their mistake. This will require half of the kitchen to be removed and reinstalled. Including ordering a new piece of counter top. Not to mention delaying the renovation project MONTHS! Calling customer service gets us no where. "We'll look into this and get back to you. We're working on a solution. We'll get back to you within the hour. " We have never received these promised phone calls back. We have never received this so called solution they're "working on". Upon calling back to follow up, our file keeps mysteriously being closed with no explanation as to why! This has been going on for WEEKS to no avail. This store refuses to acknowledge their customers issues. This will be the first of many negative reviews. We demand a solution to the problem you literally designed!
One star is WAY more than you people deserve.
05 January 2019 10:17
A great place to shop for flat packed furniture. The quality of the furniture is surprisingly good, but assembly is always required. I like the kitchen displays the best. The kitchen cabinets are amazing with the easy glide drawers and unique storage options. I would recommend this store to anyone that wants to add some character pieces to their home.
04 January 2019 14:54
This was my first visit to IKEA and I loved it. I will definitely be going back and I cant believe I have never been there before. They have everything you can think of for inside your house. Prices are reasonable and they have a "as seen area" for clearance items which are very affordable. When you first go in they have a huge map of the place a lady to help direct you where to go. We stopped to eat at the restaurant and it was good food for the price. IkEA is like a maze just follow the arrows and eventually you will find you way out. It is a massive place. So make sure you have lots of time. For most bigger items you walk through the show rooms and write down the item number then you go over to the warehouse area and find your stuff there. It is pretty easy to find everything in the warehouse but if you need help they have people there to assist you. Once you cash out then if you need help loading all of your big purchases just go out to the loading area. Go get your vehicle and they have guys to help you load up too. IKEA is great
04 January 2019 14:15
What can I say, I love ikea. I've bought everything from tea towels to a kitchen and a big couch. When my couch had a problem with the springs, it was replaced - including delivered to my door- promptly and without fuss. I've also never found a more affordable French press - and if it makes my morning it's a winner in my books!
02 January 2019 20:46
What can I say came for replacement screws and bolts for crib that is currwntly being sold. Was told they can't order any. As we waited another man had taken 2 tickets. When called up the lady told him it was for thw wrong thing and to get another ticket and wait. They never called either of the other tickets he had. When my number was called there was the customer prior to me still getting refunded. So being polite i stood behind them. The girl then called another number. Im sorry but im not climbing over people to get replacement parts. Was then told to ask the department staff for replacement parts. I spoke with one girl in the department who told me to print off product description and go to a hardware store and find the parts. I understand ikea furniture is to be used with other products and such but that was ridiculous. No help besides the department staff.
31 December 2018 4:41
I can only compare it to the IKEA in Vaughan and it's a smaller more crowded building, the restaurant is not laid out well and isn't capable of handling the number of customers efficiently.
30 December 2018 8:57
It always feels good to visit Ikea. Ideal place for most of our furnishing needs. It's a busy place on weekends, long lines at checkout. Weekdays is preferable if you need more time and help from associates.
07 December 2018 0:07
A humongous store where you can buy quality household stuff ranging from furniture, crockery to plants and decorations for interiors and exteriors. Come prepared for long walks in the aisles and if desired you can have lunch and dinner during working days while a good brunch can be another option for weekend. A good family store but at times you have to press hard-on management for seeking desired help in certain sections of the store. Other shopping options on the mall off 403 might be very mediocre. Parking is not an issue. Recommended for family trips.
02 December 2018 7:07
Can be quite busy, but its got plenty of parking and lots of loading docks. Great for cars. Food and everything is the same. Probably best for niagara/burlington area residents.
01 December 2018 23:57
IKEA furniture is of generally poor quality, and mass produced in China. Shopping at IKEA does little to support our economy.but sometimes it is a necessary evil.

This particular IKEA seems to be perpetually out of whatever I happen to come in for.

I was shopping for a closet system today.it took forever to figure out what I needed to pick out of their warehouse to build it, let alone get someone to help.only to get to the warehouse and find out that one of the critical pieces is out of stock.then to find out they aren't sure when or if they will get it back in stock.what a waste of time.

It really reinforced my idea of: "why even bother with IKEA junk? ". Can't even get it when you want it.
28 November 2018 2:29
The Ikea is great, though we use the EV charger here and the chargers are not that great. If they are not out of service we have had to battle with cars parked and not charging, or cars done charging and leaving their car plugged in for over half an hour.
26 November 2018 13:23
The IKEA experience is so enjoyable! I must admit I’m addicted. Like any large IKEA store, the ‘route’ is scenic, well stocked, and populated by professional and courteous staff. The main marketplace is a wonder of organization and ease of access. A great retail model and product - my stuff has lasted for years.
02 November 2018 8:17
I love IKEA but I need to know do they have facilities for diable ppl?
If I get to ikea Burlington, do I get the diable self running push chair? If I do, I need to buy things so please let me know.
Thanks.
