Way out of the way, if the website says In Stock at North York IKEA, it should be in stock at the showroom’s warehouse, not 20 minutes away.

Great selection. Things get short supplied but if you want it then the wait is worth the while

Total pain that you need to pay for some items in the main store then drive here to pick them up. At least it's not too busy.

Great customer service, they were fast and polite. When I arrived to pick it up an order, it was already waiting for me and it took me only 30 minutes to get there after have placed the order. I'm appy with the service and quality.

Fast and efficient. I walked in, my number was on the screen getting packed, soon after it was done. Showed my receipt and away I went.

Staff was nice and location has a nice waiting area in case your order should be a bit of a wait.

Staff are amazing but it bugs me that they say in stock at North York store then tell me to come here to pick up.why not just tell me to pick up here directly

I like the ikea kitchens but you need to go back over and over to get what you need. On top of that you need to go to another warehouse to pick your stuff up after paying for it at the store. Too much work Ikea! Especially when you ordered something that was out of stock, you get the email that it is waiting for you but you still need to go to the store to pay and the warehouse to pick it up. So not normal!

We had checked on line and were targeting two or three different styles of TV cabinet. After looking in store, we asked one of the staff, Syum to check if in stock.

We paid for the white color since the black wasn't in stock. Then used the map provided by Syum to pickup the item from the Gordon Baker Rd warehouse. Thank you Syum.

Store is great but the actual set up ordering and picking up at a different location is way inconvenient.
Also the fact we could get half of closet organizers and not being able to order the other half is annoying I understand that there are probably shortages and delays but you would think you could order product and wait
Also the no delivery case in Durham is quite a problem

Purchased a desk at the North York IKEA in store but had to pick it up at the warehouse. It was a short drive from the main IKEA to the warehouse. The warehouse staff had my order ready to go when I arrived and helped bring it out to the car. Overall it was a smooth experience and I was happy to get the product I wanted rather than having to wait for delivery.

ALWAYS have to wait minimum 15 minutes when you're picking something up, because they don't pick it right away when you buy it. They wait till you arrive to start picking.

It's annoying because they tell you in-store that they'll pick it right away, so you have the idea you'll be able to grab it as soon as you get there, but it never happens.

There's just terrible communication between the store location and the pickup location.

Website doesn’t make it obvious that North York store means either the store or the warehouse. Wait in line at one to be sent to the other to wait in line again.

The worst customer service ever, non existent.
Placed an order online, never to receive it. Contacted Ikea to check the status of it, only to be notified it was undeliverable, due to it being damaged. No email or notification made by Ikea or courier. They proceeded to tell me they cannot fulfill my order. If I didn't contact them I would be without the product and money!

It is very convenient place to buy in the heart of North York, Toronto it is well stocked and the food choices are better and various options than Dallas in Texas.

Worst customer service. The reason is because there is none. I waited for over 2 hours on hold music in 3 consecutive days. After 2 hours I get hung up on and still haven't been able to reach them

Bought from Ikea North York and had to come here to pick something they had it ready in seconds and in total I didn't spend 2 minutes here.

Well, normally I would say great, however, yesterday as a result of lack of detail by a customer service person I had to return to Gordon baker pick up point to exchange the wrong part ordered earlier in the day. I live 60km away so 240km yesterday.

Great location, lots of parking. The store itself is quite large and has a lot of things you need especially when moving into a new place. The line ups are long however, and could take up to 40 minutes to pay for a purchase.

The experience in itself is good. Park, go to desk, show your order and order is ready in 5 min. What I don't understand and is kinda BS is paying for my item at Leslie location and having to travel to Vic Park and Steeles to grab it. Another classic reason on why I only visit Ikea every 2-3 years.

Ikea is the best place to buy furniture, house and office decorations. Excellent and affordable food in a clean environment.

New service, order is prepared at a different location not far from store. Drive up check in and wheel your cart away. Cool and quick.

When the whole world is moving toward the convenience of free home delivery, it made little sense to me to go see samples of closets at the ikea store and then have to drive to their warehouse to pick up part of the order while the rest had to be back ordered as it was out of stock! Triple waste. Sorry. Otherwise, we love their products.

No real lineup when I went and lots of parking, staff were friendly and helpful just took awhile to bring what I ordered.

An absolute horrible experience once again. Third time back for the same kitchen. When building a new home the kitchen is supposed to be an exciting part but it turned into a painful back and forth experience with very little help from the staff. I hope we at least love the kitchen when it arrives but getting to this point was a struggle!

Fast amd convenient at 6pm Sunday. Has a small unsupervised play area for children and a comfortable seating area for adults waiting for their items to be picked by the warehouse staff. Has a small loading area but this place isn't for your general IKEA merchandise and it was nearly empty when I was there.

Poor customer service. When I was helped at the store, I was told that I had to pick up at the some other location. Also they placed a wrong color on the pick up order. I came here to pick up and thankfully I realized the mistake right away before going home and unpack!
Currently waiting for about an hour for the exchange of color on 1 item out of 4.
Wasted all my day to buy one vanity from them!

Kudos to Justin for always delivering the best customer service. He does a great job - Ikea is lucky to have him!

Just a follow up: Visited the store again after having issues at another location - Justin was a rockstar! Solved my problems, went above and beyond. Super happy. Keep that man, give him a raise. You guys cant afford to lose him!

Staff is very quick to get your order. Most of the time, you come and it's already ready to be picked up

They had me wait for a very long time before I was served. I was only here to pick up two large items but they didn't have anyone else coming in and the workers were just standing around in the back.

Drove 2.5 hour to be told that part of my order that was supposed to be there and ready for pick was not ready and missing some.

Was told at store that my items will be ready by the time I get there. I had to wait 45m to 1h to get my item.

Awful! On top of fighting traffic to get to this external warehouse, we wasted time and money to pick up a product. Spoke to Sarah from HR (most useless and unprofessional person in the world) and she was extremely rude.

Never going to ikea again. Would rather spend time and money at the brick.

Really helpful. Picked up the items that were not kept at north York store. Short drive, easy to get to.

2 issues: 1- They gave me the wrong item and 2- one drawer was used (despite being manufactured sealed box - I have no idea how that could have happened).
I had to come back twice to fix those issues. The employee told me he'll waive the cost of the wrong item because of the trouble I had to go through but the manager arrived and offered me $25 gift card instead. I told him (in front of the employee) that he had offered to waive the cost of the item but the manager said that it's not an option and the employee shouldn't have offered that. I felt double bad: first I was worried the employee might get in trouble (you could easily see that he was shaking) and 2nd, because the manager was extremely rude and arrogant.

Very nice and easy pickup. The carts were ready when we got to the store and parking was very convenient as well. Cart was very easily reachable to my van so I can load boxes.

Really quick in and out. One can actually go straight to the counter and pick up what they want. I really wish the main IKEA North York store was so well run and designed instead of forcing you walk through half the departments in a manipulative maze. That would be much more respectful of people and their time.

A quiet, clean and efficient depot to pick up your large purchases from Ikea. We purchased a sektion cabinet configuration which was ready in minutes after we arrived. It's a short drive from the store and the staff is polite and helpful. They have a clear and effective system for pick up. There's a comfortable place to sit, a station for kids, restrooms and a vending machine of refreshments available while you wait.

The staffs provide typical IKEA grade service.l paid at their store and went to the warehouse to pick up about an hour later. My order was ready to pick up already when I arrived. Very good system and high efficiency. The sitting space is kind of small. Customers have to stand when they are busy. The loading area is not managed very well. I see people parking there while others have to wait to find a spot to load their stuff.

2 weeks delivery time is ridiculous for a toy. On top of it IKEA charges 20 $ for a delivery to Whitby.
This was my first and last time ordering anything from IKEA. Everybody else offers faster service at lower delivery charges.

Been going to this Ikea since middle school, great place to buy furniture, but also just fun to hangout and look around at their showrooms. Restaurant has good food for low prices, and their soft serve is still only 1$ which is great since McDonalds has raised their price.
Never had any problems in my nearly 10 years of going here, always a good experience, friendly staff, good prices.

Definately busy on the weekends. The co-workers try hard to be efficient, however there are customers who take up too much of their time and should have gone to the store to deal with problems print to purchase. I think they should be a little more hard stead on directing People to the store if their questions and concerns are more then a couple of minutes long.

The staff were friendly and helpful. However one of the items I ordered was out of stock. I only received 1 of 2 ordered items after waiting 1 hour. They refunded me the money for the item out of stock. I am giving 3 stars because the wait was too long after I had paid at the Leslie and Sheppard store, then drove to the warehouse to find out my item was out of stock.

Waiting 25 mins to pick up something that we bought at ikea north York. Major inconvenience. Logistical failure. Not only are your products beginning to look and feel like paper, but the process of shopping and purchasing at your store is becoming a real drag.

Totally ridiculous, you shop and pay in one place then drive to pick up your order at 404 and finch. NEVER AGAIN
