I usually stop at their location on Wellington for a sandwich but I was in the glebe and decided to try this one. I won’t be back.

I ordered my sandwich that on the menu said it had specific toppings on it and ordered a couple other toppings. I waited over 20 minutes. The person serving me genuinely forgot about me and someone else noticed that my sandwich was about to burn on the panini press. When I opened it up, not only did it not have the extra toppings I ordered, but it didn’t even have the ones that are on the preset menu.

Terrible service, will not be back to this location. The only good thing about it is that the porchetta is genuinely good quality.

Huge variety of products. Excellent cheese selection. Bought three sandwiches to take home, delicious.

Negozio Nicstro offers the best selection of cheese in the city. Their staff are knowledgeable and always happy to explain. Outside of COVID times customers could sample cheeses until they found the one they most liked. They can also put together perfect cheese pairings.tell.them what you are serving and they can offer suggestions for a cheese tray.try it, you'll like it! They also assemble great gift baskets-especially baskets containing only samples of cheeses-a great gift for the person who doesn't need anything.

Great products but thoroughly unimpressed with decisions. Staff have chosen, more than once, absurdly expensive versions of basic items asked for through over-the-phone orders (during COVID). Unnecessary big bills.

I came in to grab some staples in cans, etc. I waited for a long time at the register while they served people buying deli meats and the other employee stocked shelves. When one of them came, after about 5 minutes, to ring in my purchases, he didn't offer to bag them for me and left them behind the plexiglass while I finished my transaction. I had to grab my purchases under the barrier and put them into my bag by myself. He didn't offer me my receipt and was rude to me as I gathered my own groceries and put them in my bag. I guess this is why I go to La Bottega. I'm never coming here again. Very disappointing.

Nicastro's on Bank is like the local grocery store you can only find in Europe. 5 star fruit and vegetables, delicious deli and world class cheeses, fresh, delicious prepared Italian foods, gelato, specialty items and desserts, and the best coffee in the Glebe - hands down. The staff are friendly, and they remember your name. This is a good as it gets folks. A real gem of a place that treats you like family. And, they cater too.

Small and crowded compared to their Merivale Store, but the same top-quality cheeses and meats.

Great selection of fine meats and cheeses. They let you taste the cheese before choosing one. Also interesting selection of imported vinegars and great coffee!
