The reclining seats are soft and amazing. The cinema also looks very retro. The buying of tickets online is also a seamless process

The best theatre in the city! Lovely staff, extremely comfortable seats, and ultimately the BEST priced ticket for the quality of the experience. I choose this place over any other!

Screens are great and the theatre is very clean! I enjoy the luxury recliner seating. There snack selection is very limited and have had it twice where water was not available at the concession stand!

No actual person selling tickets only a self-serve kiosk. Why is it programmed to show sold out showtimes? Waste of time.

My favourite theatre in the city by far. I’ve never had a bad experience or bad time here. Also, their newsletter is genuinely helpful for getting advance tickets, knowing deals, etc.

This is a hidden gem of downtown. The screens are not overly huge but the co forry of the luxury recliners make up for it

Great seats and enjoy supporting woman owned cinema, however, I do believe they don't use real butter despite having to pay extra for it. Either way, the popcorn at Cineplex is better and it makes me feel that I would rather go to Cineplex for that reason.

This is one of my favourite cinemas in Toronto. Wide seats that recline, and great popcorn and drink combos.

Imagine Cinemas holds a special place in my heart as the very location where I experienced the magic of movies alongside my mother while growing up. It remains an integral part of my fondest childhood memories, symbolizing an enchanting escape into the world of imagination projected onto the grandiose silver screen. As the years have passed, I have witnessed the evolution of Imagine Cinemas, most notably with its recent introduction of luxurious reclining chairs that epitomize comfort and elevate the cinematic experience to new heights.

Nestled in one of Toronto's most beloved areas, Imagine Cinemas continues to captivate me with its nostalgic charm. Its location near the iconic St. Lawrence Market adds an extra layer of allure, as this historic marketplace is steeped in a fascinating tapestry of stories. The St. Lawrence Market, a cornerstone of Toronto's rich history, has welcomed merchants and patrons since its establishment in 1803. Its bustling atmosphere and diverse array of food vendors create an inviting ambiance, enticing visitors to explore its vibrant heritage.

While the passage of time has seen prices rise, I still unequivocally declare Imagine Cinemas as my go-to movie theater whenever the opportunity arises. The intrinsic value it holds for me, intertwined with cherished memories and a sense of familiarity, outweighs any financial considerations. Despite the changes and fluctuations in the industry, Imagine Cinemas remains a beacon of cinematic delight, standing firm as my cherished haven for witnessing the wonders of film unfold.

In conclusion, Imagine Cinemas continues to be the epitome of nostalgia for me—a place where dreams have come true on the silver screen since my earliest days. Paired with its recent upgrade to sumptuous reclining chairs and its enchanting location near the historically significant St. Lawrence Market, this establishment encapsulates both the timeless allure of cinema and the captivating history of Toronto. While the prices may have seen an increase over time, I wholeheartedly maintain my unwavering loyalty to Imagine Cinemas, as it remains my preferred sanctuary for indulging in the magical world of movies whenever circumstances allow.

Cineplex WHO? I felt like i had a net worth of 1 million dollars while I was sitting in their cushy chairs. No annoying weirdos putting their feet on your chair, because these babies RECLINE. A fantastic experience here. Into the Spiderverse deserves these seats specifically.

This theater is efficient and well run and has a very friendly staff. The luxury recliner seating is awesome and it has the best popcorn in the city. A must for any movie goers.

A great not so hidden gem theatre in the city. This is my favourite theatre because of how comfy the reclining seats are along with all the great staff that work here, They make you feel welcome. Thank you Imagine team for always creating an excellent experience every time we come to enjoy a movie!

The best movie theater I have ever gone to. Oversized leather seats that have foot rests that pop up with the touch of a button. It was super comfortable! Better than being at home and a huge screen. Great sound. Loved it.

A real disappointment. We tried to rent a theater for a reunion and took forever to respond, then informed us they couldn't provide the movie we wanted.

This is the coolest cinema I’ve been too. From the outside it looks like an old place but on the inside, the cinema rooms are just amazing, feels like your inside your own cinema room. You get a big seat with a great space between rows and you can lay down the entire session.
The ticket price is 14.5$ for an adult and on Tuesdays it’s 9$.
This will certainly be the spot I’ll be coming to watch a movie from now on.

Neat little theatre tucked away on the strip that leads you downstairs. Only downside is no cell service down there oddly. Supporting the smaller theatres

So disappointed to see them hike up their pricing. I remember coming to this theatre when I was a kid and catching $3 matinee's. Obviously one expects prices to go up but it's now CHEAPER to go watch movies at Varsity and Scotia Bank. Ironic how times change, Looks like I'll be watching my movies at a cineplex, sadly, because I'm not paying MORE for an inferior viewing experience (I'm sorry, Varisty has them beat on comfort /quality when it comes to smaller theatres and Scotia obviously has those massive screens/sound systems.

Offers a very personal and delightful movie going experience. There’s no beating the level of comfort and the prices. It’s really the best.

The staff are great and friendly and a big shout out to the people who own and run the place.

A thing to note, there’s no cell phone service
when you are in the theatre or the common area. So, please plan ahead Cheers!

Perfect smaller theatre. I will sometimes go elsewhere if I want 3D, IMAX or surround sound, but for the majority of movies, this theatre is great and service is always nice. The seats recline and are very comfortable. It is easy to reserve seats before coming online, or buy at the theater.
