Trying to reach them since very long time, no one is answering, my husband and my kids applied for Citizinship last year, and nothing happened they have all the needed documents and everything they need but still there is a delay, with no explanation why does it take all this time, trying to find an explanation, all what I get is that we are still processing the applications, and whenever we go to the office they say appointments only, that are taken by phone, and when I call to take an appointment there is no answer, it keeps taking through too many options, but unfortunately no one answers! I wish that they improve their service and try to be more handy and to at least make updates to the applications regularly, cause they don’t even make any update when I track their applications, first update was on March 2023 second update was October 2023 and the application was submitted on September 2022. They say it’s the pandemic, which I totally understand but please people’s future is relaying on you.

I showed up expecting bad customer service from reading the reviews but I found the opposite. Thanks to Don and Mike, I had pretty much all of my questions answered. Great experience!

Tried to call go through a long list of nothing related to what I need. Then finally enter everything in to then be suggested to try the online service (which does not work) then put in process to speak to someone only to get hung up on. Tried multiple times. This unexpectable. If it was anyone else ppl would have been fired. It should not be this hard to get your PR card.

Try giving this department a call, it is an absolute disgrace. The message we are always left with is that they do not have any available agents and to try to call back later. I hope you do not have an emergency because you will not get any assistance from this department. There are no timelines for processing any sort of document, there is no service levels or targets that are ever met. At this point, they really need to register as a religious organization because the only way you will get any service is if you start to pray. As a Canadian, I feel truly embarrassed that this is what our newcomers, refugees and permanent residents are left to deal with.

I am waiting for my Pr about 2 years that's a long time and I need it cause I need to attend a university and study permit will take long time also I understand everybody is busy but I am very stressed because I don't know what to do and how long to wait I need my Pr to go to University.

NEVER ANSWER PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD, YOU’RE BASICALLY ON YOUR OWN AFTER THE APPLICATION JUST CROSS YOUR FINGERS YOU GET YOU DOCUMENTS WITHIN THAT YEAR IT CAN LITERALLY TAKE 5 YEARS.

Zero star. I am pregnant and my mind is full of anxiety I call all day today. I have questions about spouse sponsorship nobody is here to answer.

They transferred my application right there Sends last 5 month no email never answer any phone call They have worst service

I am not sure if the proper authority reading these reviews, unbelievable how our Immigration Canada can take almost a year to review an application for Travel document and yet when we call no one answer the call and when they answer no one knows where this application or can give an update.
Really unfortunate that this happen here in Canada very unfortunate.

Worst service ever. Tried to contact them various times due to charging me twice for an application. I still haven’t had the chance to speak to an agent, and it’s been 6 months. Still haven’t received any money back. Extremely poor and inefficient service.

For 3 days i am trying to reach someone to talk to about my client's PR card, no luck. In their Automatic answer, there is no option to choose to talk to a representative. For my client, 5 months passed and she did not get her PR card, we trying just to get someone on the phone from IRCC to inquire about her PR card, it is impossible.

Nobody replies on the phone (they make you wait by playing useless messages then hang up), no visibility on the process, just a black hole of information. A company that provides this quality of service would have gone out of business a long time ago.

Slow as as a snail, expensive as heck. Processing times are so full of mystery and there is nothing you can do about it.

I wish there was an option of -1 star. Worse service ever. People’s pr application is stuck for no reason.

Is this CIC Office in Hamilton opened and has resumed working for Citizenship Tests and Ceremonies. Can someone post a review if this CIC Office has started working on applications or not yet opened.
I think Hamilton CIC Office should open soon to start work because local COVID-19 cases are low since March compared to other regions such GTA and Windsor.

There should be no reason to keep this office shut please start work on applications COVID-19 should no more be an excuse not to work onsite but with precautions such as Face Coverings and Physical Distancing and frequent use of Hand Sanitizer and Environmental Cleaning.

Once application has been received, IRCC will contact you to schedule an appointment if deemed necessary by the processing office.
