Rather than phoning, we drove to Stoney Creek to speak with Cathy. She was very helpful and pleasant. We took advantage of the November blowout, which enabled us to get a 10x14 shed for the price of a 10x12, as well as a free upgrade on the doors and other perks. The payment process was easy with e-transfers split over 2 payments. Ray and Mikey did the installation and did a superb job. The latch on one shed window was broken and we were told they would return with a new window. As the company was soon closing for the season, we said they didn't have to return until spring. The men provided helpful tips for insulating the shed. They also provided advice for ground prep for a second shed/living quarters we are planning to have installed. This company is family-owned and believes in providing good customer service, a sometimes rarity these days.

We contacted In The Back Yard as one of three businesses to quote replacing two older sheds in our backyard. They were wonderful to work with from the get-go. Excellent customer service, great product and the installation team was fast and accommodating. We had our Halliburton shed installed last week and from the design phase to the installation everything was perfect. When we had a question we got a response within the hour (which does not happen often these days), the shed was installed on time as promised and the installation crew was very professional and helpful.
And we know that we got good value for the dollar.

What a wonderful experience it was purchasing our shed. We looked for over a year trying to find a good quality shed for our backyard that would last a long time. The two young men showed up at our home and in less than 2 hours, we had a beautiful well-built shed. They were very professional and made sure that everything was cleaned up and took the time to show us the features of our new purchase. Our experience with In The Back Yard was exceptional! We received a quote for a shed almost immediately after requesting one on their website. Thereafter, Libby and Cathy were prompt, friendly, and professional in finalizing our design and scheduling an installation. The installers-Ray and Mike-were friendly, efficient, and professional. In hindsight, given their level of professionalism and competence, we regret not having them paint the shed for us as well. It would have been a small (and reasonable) additional expense that would have allowed us to save time on painting it ourselves.

Overall a great experience. From dealing with Libby on the custom design, to the installers who were punctual, effectient and super friendly. The shed is solid, quality build. Kudos to the inthebackyard team for running a great business. I am a very happy customer and love my shed.

From the time of the first phone call to the final installation the team at In The Back Yard were professional, easy to deal with, friendly, helpful and didn't mind all the questions or changes. They had the shed premade and when they showed up and had it installed in 1.5 hours. I did have a cement pad ready to go which made the installation quicker. I couldn't be happier with the shed and the team. Great family business.
