Indar's Roti & Doubles

The food used to be great here a few years ago. But now it's totally changed. And the new staff are very unfriendly.

This review is well overdue. This my ONLY go to spot to get that authentic Trini roti and doubles I absolutely love. I have tried many roti and doubles restaurants and while some are good enough, Indar's is by far the BEST. Dare I say it but so much so that when I go back home to Trinidad I do not crave nor do I buy roti because I already know where to get the best (Indar's). They NEVER disappoint. Thank you!

Over 3 dollars for a doubles now. I bought 2 doubles and it was over 8 dollars now. I wont be buying doubles here again till the price comes down.

Amazing doubles, best place for trini roti and curry in all of the gta hands down. If you like food like back home trinidad with shadow benny, yes I spell it the way we say it, then this is the spot. They do not tame down the spice for north americans, wither you like trini food or you don't. They also keep with the times, you can many different types of doubles and allou pie, if you a trini the you know what I mean.

I hope people read this I went to the shop on indar’s on Albion to order three Roti’s two chicken, one shrimp for my family, being from Trinidad myself and my wife being from Saint Kitts this was the worst ever I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. This place used to be owned by Trinidadians. Now it seems to be run by East Indian.

Chaned my rating for one reason.
I ordered a sadda roti on the side with my veggie platter, I got NAAN. If I wanted NAAN I would have gone to an indian restaurant. Not the same; what is happening with these Trini restaurants? Very disappointed.

If you get some doubles for takeout be ready to use your clothes as a plate. They just dashed everything in the bag with no respect, how hard is it to wrap a double and place it in a bag?

This is my favorite place for roti in Toronto. If you want to add some heat, just walk over to the Caribbean store in the same plaza and get some Bertie's scorpion hot pepper sauce.

Friendly and helpful staff. The food was great as well. Taste like home cooked meals, but with a kick if you like spice. You definitely need to visit this place if you're missing your favorite west Indian dishes. It will not disappoint.

This place is the best for doubles and parantha. Love it. And the owners are very friendly. You must try this place. Very suitable for vegetarians which is the best part! I love mild doubles with chutney.

The doubles are amazing. We ordered the spicy (level - mild) and it is good. Best doubles i have ever had. I always go to this place now.
