To be honest when i came for the first time, it was still ok …. But day before yesterday like on new year’s eve we ordered buffet, i cant remember name of that person who was serving to us like one who joined a month or 2 ago, he has been so so rude, he said us not to share buffet, we agreed but what was the point of staring at us with frowning looks throughout the time we were sitting there, he was staring alot that was quite inappropriate and disrespectful towards your customers! We liked the food but service could be better

Best place for Indian food!

Food is always delicious and freshly made with an excellent and friendly customer service.

I have been going to this restaurant at least twice a month for the last 3 years (take out or dine in) and the food is always excellent. As well, your orders is always exactly as ordered which is a big plus in today’s service.

I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Food is delicious but the service is not good. The employees continuously looking out tables and disturb our privacy. I really disappointed with the service.

Careful.they always add a "gratuity" to their bills by default and expect you to pay an additional tip on top. Very slow service

An absolute nightmarish of an experience. The food was way too spicy. Felt like the chef just used up half an ounce of green chillies just to cook a portion of Daal makhni. They have no clue of spice levels mean. On any given day, Dal makhani and rice is considered to be comfort food but this was the exact opposite. Barely got to just a few spoons of rice.

We had wonder time today at this restaurant, veg biryani was soo delicious and hara bhara kebab was very tasty, I was completely in love with the ambience outside the restaurant! Must visit restaurant in Ottawa

Bad food_ we ordered aloo n gobi paratha, paid 42 dollars they served us the ready made ones, they taste so bad _ never recommend this…

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing service and food.staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Food served on time no delays even for second orders. Making the customers happy is their main priority. Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant with family and friends.

The manager is HORRIBLE AND RUDE. He treated the group so poorly. He was so condescending. The customer service is really bad. We waited 1 hour for our food and on top of this they got the order horribly messed up. I understand the mistake with food but manager’s behaviour was disgusting. We will never go to the restaurant ever again.

Had the buffet. Top tip, it stops at 9.00pm, if, like us, you get there after 8.00 items will be unavailable and they will start kicking you out at 8.40! Food that we had was OK, but restricted choice. A la carte seems to serve later.

Starters were very good. Staff was very polite. Like the way they bring the kebabs. Like the style. Main course was also good. Garlic Naan could have been better and crispy. Was not happy as we were 7 of us and they charged gratuity (18%). I had been to other indian restaurants in down town area and never been charged gratuity

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Les plats étaient sincèrement délicieux et c'était des portions généreuses! C'est relevé et épicé. Employés chaleureux et honnête on nous demandent quel degré d'epicé on souhaite et nous conseille sur ce qui est mieux!
Nous voulions manger plusieurs plats différent donc nous avons optés pour un plateau servi avec notre repas principal. Tout était délicieux! Il y a seulement un accompagnement que je n'ai pas réellement aimé parce qu'il comportait de la coriandre et je n'aime pas ça. Sinon 10/10 pour tout!
Le poulet au beurre est exquis et que dire du pain naan! C'est le meilleur que j'ai mangé.
C'est une belle adresse où aller manger. Le resto possède une belle décoration traditionnelle!
Je conseille fortement se restaurant!

Je n'ai jamais de toute ma vie mangé de la cuisine indienne aussi fraiche et délicieuse qu'ici. Ça parait que c'est fait maison et avec soin. Le pain naan est tout simplement exquis et tout ce que j'ai mangé était délicieux. 10/10

En plus d'avoir de très grosses portions, nous pouvons apporter le reste à la maison pour plus tard. Il y a l'équivalent de 2 repas là dedans et c'est peu cher pour la quantité.

Ils ont aussi un breuvage délicieux à base de yaourt et de mangue, je ne peux que lr conseiller!

Must try! Loved the taste! Buffet is also available. We ordered tandoori chicken wings worth the $10, so yummy and tasty. Plus point was non veg is Halal here, they did not have certificate but I trust them.
Also ordered bhuna curry with paneer, must try so yummy.
As an Indian go for mild chilli.
Good spacious place to have lunch or dinner. Nothing to disappoint me. Various drinks available.
I will definitely visit again to try more dishes.

Great place and great food! The owner was also very nice and told us a bunch of places to visit in Pittsburgh and offered a place to pray. Will definitely come back and try more things on the menus!

Very disappointing experience. Samosa Chaat was loaded in spices and tasted really bad. Dum aloo was too sweet, paneer tikka was average. Garlic naan and Gobi pakoda were the only things worth eating. Portions were ridiculously small. Not planning to go there again.

Gurleen was very helpful and understanding, she went out of the way to help us and allowed us to grab takeout in timly manner on our way to quebec.

Best place to grab some Indian delicacies. Methi chicken is too good. Must try. Would have ordered it twice due to the small portion. Rajma Masala was also descent. Chicken biryani although was below average. Tasted more like a pulav. Overall a descent place to grab Indian food in Ottawa.

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant, no wait time for a table for 5 on a weekday evening, and we were seated till about 930pm. We got the mixed grill kebab (which comes with this awesome mint green chutney!), seekh kebabs and 2 naan. It served 4 people (we don't have very big appetites lol, the menu says it serves 2). The food was delicious, one of the best Indian grill spots I've been to in a long time, with excellent presentation. The waitress was very nice, and it wasn't a long wait time between ordering and receiving food. Will definitely come back here again when I visit Ottawa!

A very underrated restaurant with good value. The food tastes like it belongs in a high-end restaurant, and the guest experience is on point.

Went to this restaurant for a Lunch. Food was so so. Sitting area was not properly maintained. AC was not working and it was too hot inside. Staff was not friendly and attentive. Overall bad experience. Not recommended.

My friend and I had the Butter Chicken and Paneer with Garlic Naan and we only wish we had more room for this food!

One may think a buffet is a “better deal” but the off the menu experience is incredible!

Only tip is if you want spicy, order up more than medium

Not recommended for vegetarians. Ordered Panner Tikka and Achari paneer. Panner items are wastage of money. Paneer was hard. Malai koftha was good.

If you are craving authentic Indian cuisine?
You must try this place, they have a nice variety of dishes, very flavorful. Their spicy level is really hot which is great but make sure you can handle it. They actually put fresh green chilies. This restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants i ever tried in Ottawa. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Today the quality of the food was not that good paneer was not cooked properly and service was very slow have to call 2 to 3 times and then they show up

I loved the ambience and the food. I did not like the Chettinad egg there though. The gravy was sweet. Never had a Chettinad egg that had a sweet gravy. Kind of a spoiler for me because I don't eat meat and was looking forward to eat that. Otherwise the place is great.

Our party of 4 were exhausted from the day and we were late coming to the market.everything was closing down except the night life, everyone was just living it up everywhere and a notion and aroma of Indian food crossed our path and it looked like they were finishing for the evening except for 1 more party and that was us and maybe a few others. We were grateful and we were rewarded with a WoW explosion of flavours from this delicious food. I thought the service would be slow because they had only 2 servers for the entire restaurant but the food came out in a very reasonable time and everything was perfect including the server. Not going to suggest what you should eat but we had 5 courses and We'll come back to explore the rest of this fantastic menu and ambiance.

It was a delicious treat for my family. I literally missed India when I grab my first bite and taste it. Ohh man, the food was fire. Would love to go again from now. They even gave food to my puppy for free. Food is also not that expensive and it’s worth more than the price.

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Ottawa. Cheers to restaurants team and the girl who was serving us was really polite and listened to us (we asked lots of silly questions as well).

Worst food i have ever had. Wasted visit. I am surprised that they have this many good reviews…Complete waste of time…Paneer Pakoda, Jeera Rice and Matar Paneer…

Came to visit Ottawa from Toronto. Went through reviews and selected this Restaurant to eat. Ordered Rice and Veg curry. Such a waste. No wonder all these reviews are recently made account. Message to the owner- These fake reviews will not gonna last long, if you put half of your effort in making good food then customer will appreciate. Plus the price of food another part to make the situation worst. Leas than 0 star it deserve, so disappointed.

Amazing tastes and textures in all the meat that we ordered. Mutton was unbelievably tender and it's gravy was on point tasty. Chicken tangadi kebab was juicy and perfectly grilled. It was marinated in mouthwatering dressing and sprinkled with zesty spices.

Only room for improvement is front-of-house staff. They need to learn to adapt and cater to customer's requirements. We were denied to almost every request we made and restaurant was only 20% full. Their firm NO on any request was quite disappointing and very strange feeling to have in a non-fast-food restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, by all means, their location of byward market, with small patio, that other Indian restaurants in the town lack, and their presentation in kadai, quick service, everything is good. Their puri was almost home made quality. Not too oily and was very fluffy.

I came here with high expectations looking at the elaborate menu. Ordered achari paneer and platter consisting of a naan, dal (chole that day), vegetable (said Baigan bharta) and salad. The curry was the most disappointing one. It was just cream mixed with mango pickle. I even got hard pieces of the mango seed from the pickle. Paneer was fried and soaked in water which was very watery. Also, the bharta was no where close to bharta. It was baigan alu! I’ve never seen a restaurant serve in ikea’s dollar bowls. That was a big put down. Not worth of the $30 I spent. I just liked the chole and corn salad!

First I tried their Biryani ordered online during the lock down and I liked it, however I was very disappointed when I tried to eat at the restaurant. The food was very expensive for really small portions, it costs me way more than the online order. The mango juice, which I paid for $4, doesn't taste anything near mango. It tastes more like mango flavored water with a lot of sugar.
The costumer service isn't great either. The girl who served me was rude and arrogant, I will never go back there.

Family of four. Ordered Butter chicken platter, Konkani coconut curry platter, dish of Lababdar and dish of Kadhai. One extra rice one extra Naan. All four mentionned best Indian experience. Nice terrasse, friendly service. Note: very creamy but well spiced. Congrats to the staff.

The chettinad is my favourite dish that I’ve had at any Indian restaurant, I get it every time I come to Ottawa. Consistently delicious.

Staff were extremely friendly. Food was very flavourful and authentic. Food was spiced perfectly. First came here 3 years ago and today's experience was just as wonderful.

As I am new in the town and don't know the city well, following my friend's suggestion, we order food from the restaurant. The quantity was enough for two in one order. I usually order dal makhni as I love it, and it was yummy. What I love specifically about it, the chopped green chillies. Along with that, we got makhni with vegetables as a complimentary and that was amazing too? As complimentary I got potato salad and a chickpeas dish that I found okay. Two things I found disappointing were, there was no option to choose onion kulcha as part of dal makhni so I had to order it separately and there was no spoon provided and as I am here for only two days I didn't carry it so it cause me a bit problem. Initially I was not sure about chickpeas dish and being a pure vegetarian, I was really concern about my food so I called the restaurant and they gave me in detailed information about my whole order. I really appreciate it guys. So, the overall experience was really nice with delicious food.

I ordered mixed kabab, tadka daal and a papri chaat. I am really disappointed with the packaging and portion of the daal. The daal leaked out of the box and the portion of the $13 daal was not enough for even one person.

I order food online almost every weekend and I found that this practice of serving smaller portions for online deliveries is quite pervasive.

Sachin was a pleasure to work with, we had India Curry and Kebab House cater our wedding reception. The food was amazing, this has become our go to spot for Indian food!

I just got some takeout from this restaurant and it was delicious. Got the Paneer lababdar and Kadhai Paneer along with a few garlic naan and everything tasted just as we wanted. I ordered a cheese kulcha aswell with was a bit below average but overall my experience here was amazing. Would recommend.

Didn't like the butter chicken at all.huge butter chicken lover, every butter chicken is good, the sauce here is fine but the chicken itself was not good at all sorry. Also hurt my stomsch instantly (not normal for me)

Absolutely amazing food, so much flavour and nice portion sizes. In comparison to many other places in Ottawa, I’d say they have the best Paneer Makhani around. The garlic naan is also always delicious, I recommend this place to everyone!

I've eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years, from high-end to best kept neighbourhood secrets. India Curry and Kebab is definitely my favourite. The quality and flavour is impeccable. Try the paneer mahkani.
