Wanted to order chicken but were notified that the red meat is halal rest is not so decided to stick with the vegetarian options… was served fresh. Staff were polite and welcoming. As it was a week day prior to Christmas so the place was empty.overall an okay place for a quick bite

The first time I came to this place, with a friend was Aug 1 and today, Aug 12 was with my family for my son’s birthday, we sat on the patio. Perfect weather to eat out, The owner was there and he helped us find our way to the back parking lot. Customer service here is great, the food is delicious, healthy and fresh! Price was reasonable, good size per order. The owner gave us desserts for my son’s birthday! Keep it up! -the Bharucha Family

The food is tasteless, looks like the meal was prepared by throwing a bunch of boiled meats diced up and cooked in the microwave with the curry sauces. I have tasted better curries at the frozen section of nofrills. We ordered chicken and goat and both were bland, not fresh and really dry.

The worst Indian meal, probably among the worst meals of any cuisine, that I've had in Toronto.

Didn't help that the food was not fresh - their food is already cooked, laid out in buffet containers, from which they serve clueless customers (me) ordering ala carte.

A supposedly witty sign board next to my table was both apt and ironic: "If you don't like the food, have more wine".

The food was really good and the service is the most valuable. Ram (the manager (and the girls that serve us were so nice that make our experience so please that we are ready to go back and try new dishes.

We were new to the area and really amazed to find this place on our walk. The Veg food and their service were really great. We really enjoyed the Patio seating and enjoying the good weather by the lake.

Flavour, flavour, flavour. This is where I go for Indian Cuisine. The food, the staff and Danny the owner always make it a wonderful experience.

Great service, great food, highly recommended. We had the Chicken Tikki Massala / Medium spicy and I have to say it was just great.

We were so excited to try this place out. We entered sat down got menus then waited and waited and waited a long while before we decided that no one was interested in serving us so we left. We were the ONLY ones inside. This was on the evening when the debit system was down everywhere (rogers). Ended up at Shore grill (which we have been many times before) and they didn't disappoint! Such a shame as we like to support a variety of places in our area.
This should be a zero rating since they provided no service

Love it! Very nice place, feel very welcoming. Went for dinner with my bf Friday night, nice food, we had the house wine it was amazing!

Very disappointed…had ordered veg and paneer pakoras…they are cold doesn’t taste fresh at all.very small servings…paneer pakoras were tasteless and 3 bucks for single gulab jamun and that too for such small size seriously!

Good Indian food, but nothing to write home about. Got the platter so I could try a little of everything. Everything was tasty, but it seemed pricey and I wasn’t blown away.

The first thing that draws you is the warm welcome that is noticed the moment you enter this cosy restaurant. The food gives a homely feeling and is very tasty and easy on the stomach. Service is prompt and friendly.

Worst samosa ever in Canada I can say, please never buy samosa from here, I believe it's frozen or something else it has no taste plus the size it too small and they charge 6 dollars for 3 samosas. I don't know about there other food's but samosa's were so disappointing

We ordered many dishes for a large crowd. Every dish was delicious especially the vindaloo, which I have ordered many times. This place is consistently excellent. The quality of food is well worth the price point. Definitely try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

We wanted to have dinner and some beer, wasn't thinking about Indian food but I am so glad we decided to eat here.
Dan, the owner was a gracious host along with our waiter. He recommended his India Ale beer, we got 2 pitchers for the 6 of us and downed them fast (I am picky about my beer). Dân also recommended their sizzle plate dishes, we got 2 and love them both. The 3 Curry dishes were delicious.

And being seated on the patio was enjoyable. No loud music like other restaurants, our group were able to have conversations and enjoy a time together.

This could be our go to Indian restaurant.

Extremely unethical and ill mannered behavior.
They dont welcome dining for appetizers or small dishes. You have to order over a specific amount for dining in. They straight away deny you on your face.

If You are a well known well run Restaurant. Thats not the way to behave with the guests.

Your reason is understandable at peak hours/ rush times when theres a queue for people waiting for lunch / dinner ("Bigger orders" in your words). But at that time in the afternoon around 2: 30 pm 90% of your inner tables were vacant and neither was there any waiting.

So its your responsibility and duty that your guests do not leave the place hungry.

You have named your restaurant as "Indian"
I would like remind you that Indian culture teaches to treat Guest's as God and give them the utmost care and hospitality irrespective of any discrimination.

We 4 guests ordered 3/4 appetizer dishes which would have been equivalent to a small lunch dish (If u still insist to equate in terms of order quantity/ price).

I personally would not recommend this restaurant until the management amends these inappropriate rules. I also do know a lot of people will agree with this.

The guests with me that day were all from different places in US, Canada. So you just lowered your standards in front of them and harmed your business with potential clients and referrals too.

The food was amazing. It was the best food I had during my stay in Mississauga, Canada. The owner was also very friendly and makes you feel welcome. I will definitely return whenever I come back to Canada.

I would say if you are passing by and hungry try their food, you will not get a unique experience but indian food to eat and some good indian beers.

The best Indian food I have ever had. I was in last night and my friend was a bit late, the staff was so sweet to me while I was waiting. Lovely people and outstanding food. We had a smorgasbord of items and everything was absolute perfection! My top favourites were the shrimp vindaloo and beef biriyani. I will totally be back!

I have ridden my bike down from Long Branch to pick up food here; it's pleasant ride and the food is well worth the trip. I can't say anything about the patio service since I have only done takeout, but I can recommend the food.

Very disappointing I will never eat here or promote this so call restaurant. Iwas walking on lakeshore and wanted to get some food to go, so it wasnt till I arrived home and was disappointed the food was wasted I maybe had six bites and was enough to know this is going to run my belly.
Portions were small for the price especially when other Indian stores give big portion for smaller price. The naan was burnt and crispy what a waste and I brought extra. The curry was soo oily. And the butter chicken tasted like only cream and tomato no flavor whatsoever. The owner or whoever he was very rude and very disrespectful. I feel like he is a racist and he thought I was nothing even tho I was supporting his business. I felt like because I didnt speak his language and never been to his store before he did not make it welcoming. I repeat I will never go nor support this business. RACIST

Actually the worst butter chicken I’ve ever tasted. Literally was more like a bowl of soup then anything else, same thing w the Chana. Samosas we’re good definitely won’t return. Also quite bland

Simply fantastic restaurant, have been frequenting numerous times this summer - will continue year round. Ram is a fantastic server, kind and generous each and every time. The meals have never disappointed and are always a great value.

We went twice this summer while visiting by boat in the marina. This is a real gem of a place within walking distance of the marina. The food was authentic and the service was great! Cannot wait till return! The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable.

Went here last night for my daughters 15th birthday. She was feeling in the mood for some Indian food and we’re always trying to figure out who has the best butter chicken in this city. Service was fast and the servers were friendly.

The butter chicken lacked in taste and was under seasoned. We found it bland and very underwhelming. Usually when I eat butter chicken I can feel the flavour in my heart and soul. We both agreed it’s probably the second worst butter chicken we’ve ever had in Mississauga. Two butter chicken meals with one side of rice and one naan (neither included with meal️) and a coke came to $53.

Wish I tried the pakora or chana also because then I could pass full judgement on Indian by the lake. I don’t think I’d ever return though.

The food was excellent! The service even better!

We sat on the patio and we were so well served! We slowly enjoyed a bottle of wine over dinner and we felt zero pressure to leave even though we lingered and chatted the night away.

The butter chicken, mattar paneer and Gobi was the perfect choice for our table of two. We opted for plain naan and rice to round out the dinner. The bowls of food seemed small when served but there was no way we could finish them!

Flavour was perfect on all dishes and they tasted heavenly! I will be back!

Amazing bang for your buck $20 for dinner thali and I couldn't finish the food because it was so generously portioned and delicious! There were absolute saints by letting us sit with our little puppy outside on the patio, even though they're not advertised as dog friendly (we tried to go to El Jefe Restaurant next door which actually is advertised as dog friendly but the hostess was pretty snotty and there was a 40 minute wait) they came by with a full pitcher of water and a little bowl for our puppy, which the waiter thoughtfully poured for him, and were friendly and gracious towards us AND Eddie. Great food, stellar service, good pricing for all the food you get.will definitely be back!

Attitude on the waiter is unreal.the food? Chicken was undercooked my grandma caught salmonella 1 day later.

We have been frequenting Indian Cuisine by the Lake since our move to Port at the start of 2020. Danny, Ram and the team are simply fantastic and always make us feel welcome. I think we have now dined at least 10+ times without a negative experience - even my parents that prefer home cooked meals feel the food is superb! Food is always fresh and tasty and served quickly. As an added bonus the team allows our small dog on the patio to dine with us!

Tried Vegetable Sheekh kebab, good selection of salads on the sides and very good customer service by the staff outdoor dining very pleasant.

The best Indian food in PC, and likely Mississauga. Portion sizes are huge, you definitely get your money's worth! Flavour? Probably too good for this establishments own good. I've been going here for years for Indian food and I've tried other places, I have. But I will always, always end up back here. The quality of the food, the taste, and; when indoor dining was a thing I felt comfortable doing (I'm sure I will again soon) the ambiance is just perfect. You will NOT be disappointed with this restaurant!

Worst restaurant i have seen.no taste, no manners how to talk to customers.he was old and i think he was 50+ thats we all respect him but he does not deserve a respect. Actually we order sahi paner and they give mix veg and we order garlic naan and they give simple roti, s. I request u all plzzz do not visit this restaurant in future it you love yr money,)

Was dining here today, the food and service were magnificent. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Mango Lassi, and Kulcha. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was extremely courteous and kind. However, prices are substantially high for portion of sabji.
All in all great experience, if you are craving Indian cuisine I recommend to try:)

Ps The taste is authentic. My boyfriend prefers home made food and this restaurant reminds him of it.

We ordered last night in which nothing was made according to our order. We were having a group of people and nobody had a single bite of food after tried once. It was all wrong and one of my friend had chicken and got food poison. We just went there and normally asked that food was not good, owner did not asked sorry but started shouted on all of us and told employees let them stand there. It was very worst experience.

It was a takeaway.highly disappointed with both quality and quantity for the price we paid for veg seekh kebab.it was half cooked, felt like reheated one.was not at all fresh.wont recommend

We were walking along Lakeshore and saw this restaurant. We decided to try it out and I must say they have delicious food. Their peshawri Naan and Malai Kofta is absolute comfort food combination. Their samosas were fresh and crispy. Next time I want to try their Lacha paratha with chai.

I visited this restaurant on Monday with my boyfriend and I think they have the best Butter chicken ever. Shout out to two guys at this place. The chef (dont know the name) who made the butter chicken and a very humble and patient server -eddy. Try their beer as well while you are at it.

Visiting again soon!

Portions were ridiculously small for the price.
Burnt naan, taste and smell of the curries were horrendous. The curries were full of oil.
The owner was very rude and very disrespectful.
If you make promises, keep them. Don't make excuses for your mistakes. Wasting people's precious time and money.
Treat others the way you would want to be treated.

This is one of the best place to spend your money with a lot of disappointment. I have never been to such a place. Owner is disrespectful.
