Indias Taste Markham

We tried weekend buffet at this restaurant. Talking about the taste and quality of food, it was like soo soo. Appetizers were not that good and fresh. Naan bread was very soft and veg curry items were good but chicken curry was not upto the mark. Rasmalai and gulab jamun is delicious. Restaurant ambience is good. They should charge you accordingly for the quality they serve in buffet. #overpriced buffet.

I visited this place yesterday with 4 others. The food is a little spicy for older white gentleman. For Indian palate, the spice levels are okay. Food is well prepared, hot and the variety is enormous.
Tandoori chicken can do with some help! Not nice! Fish pakoras are nice, so is tandoori gobi, paneer, kadi pakoda, and desserts.

However, $33.75 per buffet + TIP is expensive! Considering that this restaurant has buffets 7 days/week. They must have leant the art of not wasting food. So the cost per person is very high.i am sure there will be other opinions but the cost of $33.75 and then tip on top of that is pretty steep.

Quality has gone way downhill compared to years ago. Barely any vegan options for buffet, which is understandable, however the few options there are are extremely bland and tasteless. Best thing was the fresh naan to be honest. Service was alright. We were celebrating a birthday and one of the servers kept trying to clear our plates while we were singing happy birthday and cutting the cake… complete lack of self awareness and kinda ruined the moment for us celebrating such a special occasion.

Recent visit for dinner was an unpleasant experience that forced to reduce down to 2 star. All the food at the buffet was cold and not fresh seems from lunch. The manager and staff reply after complaining that must of been one the kids that of turned burners off.

The sad thing no apologises and compensation was offered when paid the bill. I need to rethink to visit next time.

Very pathetic place. The owner and other servicing staffs are very arrogant. Not a place which deserves any common men visit. Please think multiple times before thinking of this place. Very rude and arrogant behaviour from the owner and staffs.

Their freshly made naan is to die for. Not sure if we can get more than what they initially give but if so, then 5/5.
Meat dishes are always phenomenal same with their fried fish.

Very clean, hygienic, and modern furniture. Hosts are very welcoming. The food we ordered was fresh and has authentic Indian food taste. I will highly recommend ans will definitely dine in again with my family. I am from Brantford.

Visited here on a weekend for family lunch. The buffet items were good and had enough vegetarian options too.

The food is at an amazing price and the staff are super friendly. The ambiance feels like home and Anupreet was very welcoming and offered us fresh bread from the oven.it was very delicious, and we thank the team very much. We will certainly return.

First time visiting this establishment. Food was great, Naan was always made ready to order and came out hot & fresh. Great modern looking decor and atmosphere. Service was all over the place when asking for drinks, I do not recommend ordering alcoholic beverages. Maybe in the future if they have an actual bartender I will.

They Need to improve their taste, out of everything I liked only gol gappe, noodles and Biryani little bit.

I have actually never eaten here before.
An Indian friend orders from here and says it's very good.

I bought biryani lamb, goat curry, Hakka noodles, and garlic naan yesterday night.
My husband and I had them for dinner.
The next afternoon, both of us got diarrhea.

Not sure how they made their food, it tastes delicious, but it is killing.

Poor customer service, girl serving was very rude. For sure they need to work more on training and customer service.

Buffet indian dinner that includes a lot of favorite dishes. This place is a great local markham restaurant.

Came here for lunch with my friend. Honestly not used to Indian food and usually upsets my stomach when having curry. I stayed clear of the curry for that reason but tried everything else and the Chicken tikka was a little dry but the butter Marsala and all the sauces were amazing. The fresh naan with garlic butter was also a huge highlight of this place. Great options for dessert as well. Would definitely come back again and try the rest as many of the things in the buffet are heavy so I was unable to try it all. Support local businesses.

Ordered aalo and mix pranthe from this restaurant, NO TASTE, NO SALT in it.
No need to waste money. NOT RECOMMENDED

I’ve been there few years ago but everything changed. Taste is not the same and service isn’t good.

There's no zero star so one star, buffet is the worst so I would say don't try it. Totally unsatisfied. Food was not fresh. First and last try. Not value for money.

Worst indian food I ever had. 2 stars for only good soft roti everything else was just garbage in Veg thali. Who puts so much haldi in everything

Need authentic Indian food for your party needs, look no further. I ordered food for my son's birthday party last week. IndiasTaste checked all the boxes. Timely, Price, Authentic Punjabi taste and great staff on the phone. Guests were licking fingers and we were happy hosts to see everyone liking the food. Daal Makhani, Kadhi, Kadhai Paneer, Gulab Jamun and Chaat Papdi - everything bang on taste.

I would recommend IndiasTaste to any one who is looking for food for their party needs or family dinner.

A decent place to eat and treat. Non-veg starters seemed little dry apart from that food is delicious.

I am so incredibly disgusted. I came by today to purchase dinner and saw the sweets display and decided to give it a try to only find fungus/mold on the sweets. Imagine if my family and I had actually eaten it! Clearly they don't care about the customer's health. Thankfully I caught the fungus before eating it! I used to be a regular, but I will no longer be making trips to this place! What a waste of money and such a close call. I would recommend everyone else to stay away! This place needs to be shutdown!

Was not satisfied. The buffet is over-priced and with a very small selection of food. Half the food was cold.

Very tasty buffet.tasty varieties. Very good ambience. Kind services. Very attentive. Each dish has it’s own taste with it’s own curry base so each curry taste unique. Open till 11 PM is great timing option. Highly recommended restaurant

This Indian restaurant is close to my office, and I had visited this place for a lunch buffet with my friends. The food was average in taste, and some of the gravy was a bit sweet. I only tried the vegetarian options, and only a couple of items were there in the options.

Ordered Afghani chicken, but they gave Costco chicken with some onions in it. Day light robery.

Got veg fried rice and Gobi Manchuria.it was average tasting at best. Some pieces of Gobi was hard like stone.fried rice had absolutely no flavor.

I have been in this place a few times already. Always coming out with an extremely full stomach sensation.

It's an Indian food buffet, clean, quiet, very presentable, and the food.oh my God, the food! Currys, veggies, salads, desserts, and just-made naan: buttery, smooth, melting in your mouth, delicious.

Everything, and I really mean EVERYTHING is delicious, fresh, authentic.

My favorite are chicken butter and goat curry, as a desert gulab jamun.

The buffet may not be cheap, I paid today Friday lunch time about $20 per person, but it is so worth it. I am glad they survived the pandemic and wish them best luck. They used to have screens with Indian clips and movies. Didn't see them this time.

The decoration is modem, clean and welcoming. Don't let his location which is mostly industrial, fool you: If you like Indian food, you will not be disappointed. Whether is for a quick lunch or to impress your significant, this is the place to go.

Read really nice reviews of the place and decided to try it.

We had Chhole Bhature, Mutton Roganjosh and Gulab Jamun.

The initial reaction to Chhole Bhature was that Chhole was less but it was more than enough and really tasty.

Mutton Roganjosh was not exactly Roganjosh but pretty good. And the mutton (goat) was succulent and well cooked.

Gulab Jamun was very nice.

Overall a very nice experience with food.

However, the service went a little awry when I asked for lemon for the mutton. I generally eat lemon (it’s a childhood habit). But the owner hesitated a bit and finally gave it to us. After that she was weird and rude with us. This is a first - which is why the rating is 4/5

Not sure if she got offended about her food.

After this I visited the place thrice, food was not at all good. It’s definitely a no place for me.

Ordered chicken biryani today and was too disappointing. Packing is exceptional! I love eating thali here but Biryani is disappointing.

Don’t go here! We were Party of 12 and 8 ppl got very sick after eating their buffet. Ruined our day.

Exorbitant and incredibly expensive! You can have a meal on top of cn tower than pay 35$ per head for the frozen reheated food in buffet here!

Great food and amazing service! Would highly recommend this place for a special event or a night out.

Delicious food and amazing service. Love bhindi and roti and my daughter favorite is Malai kofta.

Worst customer service ever!
I ordered Veg Manchurian and got chicken in it. I am a pure vegetarian. Customers are just expect from you to be take a responsibility while serving the food, double check with the item what they ordered before giving approval for delivery, be focused, in return the amount they paid to your restaurant. & instead of being a mean person, try to understand that how much these things matter to them!

We bought Paneer Bhurji from here and this is what we got. Cauliflower sabji mixed with little bit of paneer.
Worst place for indian food. I suggest not to buy indian food from here.

At this restaurant, you will be served Indian cuisine. The hallmark of India's taste is serving tasty vindaloo,  lamb curry and butter chicken. You can share good gulab jamun,  fruit ice cream and pudding with your friends and spend a nice time here. Enjoy delicious food

Alright! The food at this place is awful, first item on their menu ‘samosas’ simple and easy thing they don’t even know how to make that, it comes with good presentation but poor taste, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I visited for the very first time today and ordered a kulfi and juice. Kulfi was good. But the mix juice was worst and not even worth the price. The girl who took my order was not even friendly and had no smile on her face. Customer service is really bad. Moreover, for juice they took 13 minutes and the store was not even that busy and she was just roaming here and there. Seriously guys, you need to make your customers happy. Very bad experience today. Juice spoiled my whole mood. Not recommended to anyone.

The meals and service were beyond our expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Wonderful restaurant to take the family out for dinner.

Food is fresh, tastes like real Indian food. Super polite & courteous staff, love the fresh nan & samosas.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are appetizing and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we have a splendid evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Most of the deserts are from frozen containers; In buffets proper prep is completed or not cooked well. Food taste of most of the dishes is really hopeless. Breads are too elastic and not cooked properly as well.

I eat in this place from time to time! This is my favorite place to to have a good dinner. I visit this place at least once a month. The food is very good, the staff members are courteous and the prices are decent. I like eating in this spot to have a nice meal.

Buffet price of $21.46 is ridiculously high! Would have probably.given 5 star if the price was appropriate. The food was good, but the service was lethargic. May be you can try this place for some good Indian food, but not a second time for the price!

Very nice and reasonably price. Tasty food with good service. Also for special Indian savory items you can always ask servers to make them for you.

Been coming here for about 5+ years and they’re food is always excellent. The naan is crispy light and made fresh to order. The buffet has a great selection of main Indian dishes. Butter chicken and the lamb curry are my favourites. I also had their take out and it’s just as good.

Good food, but beware the take out thali, you have to pay extra for a few things in the buffet, so it is less than meets the eye, which was a bit of a surprise after we already started choosing items. The Male manager this Sunday afternoon seemed less than friendly.

As always great place and great taste to go. Had been there few times, this time was with my colleagues. Food is good, however ambience is not that great.

Everything tasted the same, the food was dry. The butter chicken tasted acidic. Pakoras were hard and dry. Tikka didn't even taste like meat. The garlic Naan is at an extra charge (used to be included in the price). The desert selection is mininal (ras malai was dry, cakes were tiny and mediocre). Pani puri liquid was extremely spicy, tasted like ground chilli in water. Everyone was sick near the end of the meal. Immediately had to use the washrooms. Overall, waste of our money

Taste is bland and not worth the price. Will never return to this place.ever! One of the worst experiences.

A little costly if compared with the take-out catering services in the town but undoubtedly worth paying. The taste, quantity & quality is the best. You get more than what you pay for. Wait times could be a little longet during peak hours. But as already mentioned, WORTH IT!

Decent lunch buffet with a variety of Veg& Non- veg items, but no beef items. Affordable price and good service.

A well established restaurant that has consistently produced excellent Indian cuisine and is conveniently located in Markham. This is an AYCE establishment with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cookings available for the same price. The desert selections is amazing and in fact I have seen people coming over just to order the dessert assortments. This place is not wheel chair friendly but is not impossible for access, there is just a small vertical step to enter. Inside there is definitely wheel chair accessible table for patrons. There is no kids menu so it’s advisable to bring your own food for your kids, which they allow me to bring and feed my child. However, for the adventurous parents and children, there are choices like chicken wings, vegetable spring rolls, fried noodle, and chicken curry, which are not spicy. The service provides free flow of naan, which are well done and creating soft texture. I would highly recommend Fish Tawa at the chef’s section as this I find as exceptional.

Great buffet. Even better price. You know food is fresh when the staff changes the dishes regularly. Definitely try the fish tawa. Ask the staff for fresh hot buttered naan or even roti.
This place is great for large parties too. After you stuff yourself make sure to pick up some sweets for later.

If you are not one for spicy food, make sure to ask the staff, they are super polite and can help out.

The food here was not fresh at all and it all tasted the same unfortunately. The rice were hard (not fresh), dry snacks, and just overall not very appetizing. And we had to pay extra for the garlic naan here, which seems unreasonable.

Loved the buffet! I think its the best buffet in this part of town. Lot of options for veggies and non veggies. Different varieties of chicken, fish, lamb starters and curries. There is "chaat" too like paani poori, etc. Pretty authentic food I should say but maybe the spice levels are a tad bit low. Fairly good dessert options too.
Nice ambiance and Friendly service - atleast the staff is smiling. But they should probably pick up plates faster. Maybe I was there at a busy time.
The one thing I didn't like was - the seating was very cramped. Too many tables jammed in close to each other.

We had an awesome time at Indias Taste Markham. Food is great. Cleanliness and the service are good as well. We enjoyed the time there.

This is a decent Indian buffet option in Markham. The food was great, really enjoyed the naan and butter chicken. Selection is pretty great too, lots of snacks, entrees, and dessert option. They deliver the naan to your table and you can ask for however much you want. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because it is a bit crammed. I understand they want as much seats but you can't have more than 2 people getting food in one 'aisle'. Hopefully they can adjust the space to make it more accommodating. They take reservations which was very nice I have to add.

I have been going to this place since 2012.but was very disappointed today (15-sept-2018) probably my last visit.the quality of the food served was bad.they have reduced the variety of dishes by 50% and to top it all they have increased the buffet prices from 14.95 to 21.99.i felt cheated.very disappointed
