Indigo - Cambridge

Very nice selection all around, kind of a strange layout but honestly that made it more interesting to browse!

Its interesting to see the changes that have come from going Chapters to Indigo. I definitely think the owners have done a great job with keeping relevant with the currents needs of the public but also still catering to book lovers alike. This particular location, i love as it always surprises me with the large ammount of options for lots of different age ranges. Definitely recommend it for young and old and small or large families to come explore and find your next book or hobby adventure.

I asked for help finding if a book was in stock, was directed to the website for availability, asked a cashier if she could order me the book they didn't have, I was directed to the website to order it? Turns out it was cheaper on Amazon and comes 15 days sooner, I still like browsing the store however

I don't know who Ardin is, I've never seen her/him/them in all these years. Ardin if you see this, you have impeccable taste.

Lots of selection. Friendly staff. Layout of the store is confusing as there are many nooks and crannies hiding some of their selection. Gives the store a very intimate feeling but sometimes hard to find things.

Prices are different online versus in the store, store is PACKED with merchandise - many areas of the store are not accessible.

I asked for recommendations on feminist books for 3 year olds and the employees just brought me to the wall with books for 3-5 year olds. They didn't know of any specific books and didn't offer to help me find something. They were nice, but not helpful at all.

Stopped by here last week with my wife while we were in the area. The store is super clean and great if you're looking for your next read! Wife found some books she was also looking and we were also able to pick up a few things for our niece and nephew! The staff were also super helpful.

Went in to purchase a book, In stock, on sale. EVENTUALLY find the book in the rather large store, bring it up to the counter. Associate is friendly and prompt. Tells me it's XX.xx price. I point to the sale, stating YY.yy. Says that's online only, different supply. Read the fine print, associate is correct. I say no thanks and leave the book.

Go online, online store is easy to navigate and purchasing is rather easy. Select the book, on sale, paid sale price, select **In-Store Pickup**.

An hour later, book is available to pickup. Walk up to a different associate with my pickup code (shame, was kinda hoping for the same one, for obvious comical reasons), and hands me the book.

Other than the weird "online only" price thing that ended up wasting an hour of my time, I'll go back for more books.

A very nice store. It's big, bright, well organized with plenty of merchandise. I like how everything is organized accordingly and how each theme has it's own section. The staff on the floor did not engage with me, so not very friendly, but the employee at the checkout counter was friendly.

Excellent store with lots of variety for Books, stationery, Candles and other misc.items. Collection of Novelty items which normally don't see in normal retail stores.

Not impressed. You’d think after spending close to $100 your purchase would at least be handed to you packaged properly. No box provided for a fragile glass item and no large shopping bags? Really? Disgusting.

Clean environment, but relatively small coffee place. Perfect for a grab and go, not a lot of space inside.

Who doesn't love a bookstore? Very new and clean! Starbucks had Nitro brew. Staff is extremely helpful! Lots of options and if they don't have it, they'll order it for you. They have so many options if you like journaling! I have trouble not spending money here.

I love everything about Indigo. It has beautiful decor, great gift ideas, everything we need in the book department, toys, and so much more. The layout is fantastic. There is a huge table and chairs. There is a child area to read and relax. There is a Starbucks.

It is nice to have such a wide selection and a kids section. My kids usually will try to buy from the independent book store, when the book is available.

This is, without a doubt, the most awesome sauce book store in the "Cambridge Centre" mall. I just purchased a "Cookie Dough Blizzard" (CDB) from dairy queen and wanted a nice book to read on a summer day. I don't think anyone should be surprised by the fact that I decided to check out the nearby "Indigo". Well, I didn't want to eat my blizzard inside the store as in my opinion that would be rude. So I stood at the doorway eating it all up. One of the employees saw me standing there and staring at him and said, and I quote, "Hello sir, can I be of any assistance? ". It was so charming. I said no thank you, just finishing up my blizzard before entering your shop. He said its not a problem, come on in. I believe his name was "Matt". At least that's what it said on the nametag! Such a cool guy I couldn't believe it. I decided to purchase the novel "A Game of Thrones" that I keep hearing so much about. I put the novel in my Herschel backpack and skateboarded home to read it.

All in all, it was an incredible experience and I will be coming back again and again. Hopefully Matt is working there when I do, but if not I'm sure the other employees are just as perfect!

Awesome people very helpful staff and a very large selection of books to buy and loads of other things to buy then books, a must go to when it the area

It's a beautifully built store with plenty to offer. But the layout/sections are quite confusing and a bit of a mess. Entire sections of authors I know and love were definitely in the wrong places. (For example, an author who is fantasy and nothing but fantasy was in the science fiction section. A series of non-graphic novels had been put in the graphic novel section. More than a few spots like this.)

Apart from the high prices on regular items, there are some pretty good deals on clearance and sale items.

More then books. They have board games that are hard to find from the classics to new trendy games.

Do not go to cambridge indigo its best to buy/shop online or in anyother indigo location as Cambridge indigo is worst in dealing with customers and will make you feel like you are not welcome to their location this location basically treats you based on your appearance and ethnicity

Lots of books to choose from, with a place to sit down in the book section. They also have a section where they have night clothes and incense. Another area, blankets pillows, candles, dishes. Also a kids area. A lot to see in this store. The items are high quality and on the prices are on the high side.

I like the set up, very spacious. Staff friendly

I noticed that there were not much books on sale compared to kitchener store that was closed.
Maybe i need to go back and explore more.

Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced (when they actually decided to provide service, unlike the manager who refused to return phone calls & emails).
Ordered an online item to pick up in the store, received notification that the item was delivered to the store, and when I went to pick it up, they confirmed it was there but would not go retrieve it. Legitimately. Was told it was likely on a pallet and would be sorted at a later date, and I would receive ANOTHER notification when I could pick it up. Never did receive that notification, and with countless UNANSWERED emails, and several trips back to the store, was eventually told by an honest employee that it was likely sold and we wouldn't ever get it. Which means my mail was, not only OPENED, but my paid-for property was completely disregarded. She did offer a gift card (why this wasn't done initially, or after 2 trips back, is beyond me), but we never did hear back from the "manager" once.
It's embarrassing, really.

I was soo excited when I heard that an Indigo was opening up in Cambridge! I went in for the very first time to do some shopping and I don't regret a thing. Rachel, an Indigo employee was the sweetest person I've ever met. Was really helpful and had a strong knowledge on the store as she helped me find the items I was looking for and even put a board game on hold for me at another location. I didn't even know that was possible! I will be definitely be returning and will keep an eye out for other outstanding employees.

This is a really impressive Indigo. It’s very clean, well laid out, and spacious. While it sells lots of books, there’s a bunch more items in store as well. The focus is still books but the number of complimentary items to reading give you be full experience. The staff were friendly. The branding for this store is also very calming which is great for reading. Good job!

Going beyond your usual book store. Friendly and helpful staff, great product presentations and displays - well stocked. Excellent addition to Cambridge Mall

Store is doing a great job after its grand opening and manages to keep up with all of the recent Christmas shoppers. Staff really brings the store to life and the design is beautiful to the eyes. Keep up what you're doing!

As the owner of my own retail business, the work flow and ethic of the employees here blew my mind! Indigo is a book store that goes far above and beyond its competitors and is lucky to have hired some of the best employees I've ever seen. From my own experiences in the store itself, the staff was extremely helpful and efficient as well, making sure that my needs were met alongside some very interesting conversations. A handful of employees which caught my attention were Ayden, Cassidy, Rachel, Megan, Mae, Scott, alongside many more enthusiastic and spontaneous staff members. All of the previously stated employees are actually my go to based off of the experience and story they provide. I feel like the staff really give the store its character and would really hate to see them go.
