Indigo - Sherway Gardens

Staff is so incredibly helpful and kind. Today was the last day of a big sale so it was slightly busier than usual and a bit difficult to find staff, but still a great experience. When I did find staff, they were happy to assist not only me but others that needed help finding items in stock now that the kiosks are no longer in service. Hopefully they can hire some more staff to make up for the loss of the kiosks!

A great place to shop for books, cards, stationery, home decor, kitchen stuff and unique gifts

Excellent personal service from floor staff. They were very helpful in locating a book based only on 2 bits of information - color of the jacket and that it was a limited edition! This location always has good abundance of products.

Love this location. Very well stocked and beautiful display. Lots of reasonably priced unique items. Lines are long but moves fast. Encountered a few grumpy SA, but mostly friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Worth braving the crowds.

Parking is crazy at this location avoid the lunch hour if you can. The Internet was down the day I went so only Visa and Cash accepted and FYI the Cash in the children has not been operational in 2 yrs! So line up to pay was a long.

Unfortunately when we went there it was very untidy and the aisle were quite narrow and too many people.

Clean, organized, friendly staff. I have been here over 30 times and the worst issue I have experienced is a 10 min wait to check out (which was during Xmas time). This biggest oddity about them I would say is their layout, it's confusing at first and some aisles are tighter than I would like.but I am nit-picking a bit.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience in the children's department. I went into the store on November 20 and it was so busy but it was clean, and Alexa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped me look for a gift for a grandson and never made me feel rushed or like i was a bother (even though I had many questions). She was even helping multiple people as well as me. She was very knowledgable and kind. I will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend!

Very expensive variety of books to browse. Ordered online and they had ready in minutes.highly recommended!

Indigo is more than books now! We like their lines of smart Tous and children clothing. There is also lots of gadgets. They are all stylish and fun but keep your excitement under control!

For a bookstore, they have a lot of non book items. The entire bottom level of this store is gift items with a smattering of books. The bulk of the books are on the second level. The lower level kitchen section is huge! Seriously competes with a kitchen store! But why? I understand the need to extend your reach beyond books but they should keep the main FOCUS books. Having said all that, it's a nice store with friendly staff. The items other then books are pricey.

Went in looking for a special cook book. I asked a young lady for help, which she brought me to her computer. It wasn't available in store, so I asked her to order it and sent it to this store location. This way you pick it up when it comes in and you wave the shipping cost. The young lady was super helpful and printed me a order number, which I brought up to the cash. Paid and was on my way with in 10 mins. Just wanting on a email confirmation when it arrives to pick it up. Fantastic Service! I will be back!

Big and spacious! Lotsa books to choose from. It has 2 floors and a seperate section for kids as well. Friendly staff and the covid protocol is pretty good. Mask up upon entering and sanitzer is provided for you at the entrance through the mall. All in all, great experience, felt good to walk around, browse and purchase some books.

Staff is always awesome here for whatever you need. Store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

They just reopened! There was a queue but it moved quickly. I needed to buy 14 gift cards so I went straight to the cash where there was another queue but it also moved fast. There were 3 cashiers open. The rep was fast, efficient, and friendly. He got all the GCs processed without a hitch. (I've had this type of transaction take 3x as long at other stores.) Small fast moving lineup to get in (covid 19) everything just as I remember it. Great magazine selection. Piano not open, washrooms are also closed.

Very quick curbside pickup service. I was able to pick up my order within 2 minutes of reaching there.

Super quick turnarounds for curbside pickup from the store, lots of staff available to pack your holiday purchases.

My son and I knew what we were looking for. In and out in 5 minutes with helpful and friendly staff.

It's a nice mall with lots of variety for mid to higher end stores. I'm not the biggest fan of the layout but that's just a personal preference of malls that are a giant loop as opposed to one that has a bunch of different wings to loop around.

Very good book store, emphasis should be more on selling books compared to other gift articles.

Indigo, regardless of the location is a great place to visit. Hard to walk out without a book or any other thing

Over the years they really reduced the selection of books. Great example is the magazine section. A fraction of what it used to be.

This is the most beautiful Chapters location I've ever been to! Even during COVID-19, the entire premises was clean, socially distanced, and I felt safe. They had everything I was looking for and more. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I will definitely be back.

Always a pleasant place to buy gifts for individuals of all ages. Given COVID-19 their staffing is less but it took quite a bit to find someone to help look for a specific product. The checkout employees were working extremely slow if took 5 customers total of 30 mins to check out.

Best place to buy books! My daughter loves the on trend assortment! You earn plum points too. Good COVID-19 protocols.

Always a treat when someone with some piano skill jumps on and starts tickling the ivories. The store is always clean, the staff is kind and it's the best place to enter the mall.

Full of books and housewares, great for gift buying. Can be hard to find staff to help you though when it gets busy

I used to love browsing for hours and discovering new authors to add to my favourites. But my one time favourite pastime was stunningly ruined when this store moved across the street into Sherway. WHY oh why would you put a PIANO in a book store!? Anyone?

Feels like it just keeps going and going! The store is kind of divided into segments and it's pretty nice for kids, a lot of interesting toys as well as books.

This is were I shop for books and stuff for myself and my children. We love to go to this place.

It's more a business thing than a comment about this store itself. The store is great, two floors. Top is baby books and a large selection of other books. Bottom floor is some more books and a huge section of goods. There is my issue though, these stores are slowly becoming more and more about the merch and less about the books.

Maybe a sign of the times? Anyways! Great store, friendly staff, my comment aside it has a large selection of books.

Clean and well staffed. Nice to have a Starbucks inside. Magazine selection seems to be getting a little smaller

Just love the collection and the unique items they have.even if you do window shopping you will end up picking something.

Buy most of my books from here. Whenever I'm in there I always play the player piano on the second floor!

Non existent customer service. A 'manager' ran into me with a packed metal book cart and seriously hurt my back. It took her 25 mins to give me the head office phone #. The head office did NOTHING. So disappointed. Unfortunately the company has really gone down hill.

Super friendly staff & always willing to help. I love the second level too with more to shop & see! It’s a family friendly atmosphere & a great place to hang. Love the Starbucks too!
