Indigo - Yorkdale

The people who work there are very friendly and very knowledgeable as well too and very helpful. They take their time and patience with you. The staff is very friendly and couseterious at this location. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly too.

Location is convenient but it's hard to find things in the stacks and they recently decommissioned the computers to force you to use their app which doesn't work well.

A fantastic and broad selection of books available here and thankfully the staff are very knowledgeable!

Nice location with good selection but I wish there was a bit more selection on the science department. The top floor has mostly games, toys and books while the bottom floor has electronics, agendas, cups, towels, etc. It used to have a Starbucks inside but it closed with the pandemic. Also, the book search terminals seem to have disappeared too.

Always love to come here! Not just for books but for home stuff too! They have amazing and meaningful collections

In this digital world having a shop nearby who still carry paper books that you can page through and smell (yes I’m a fan) and s a chance. The book collection is what I enjoy. I don’t skip the pleasure of buying books and when I read to donate.

They have a great curbside pickup service. Their website is easy to navigate and their delivery to the car was quick and efficient. It's just unfortunate that a few selfish plaza shoppers abuse their parking privileges for curbside much as they don't give a hoot about illegally parking in disabled spaces. Unthinking, uncaring etc.

I went to the store today for shopping some comic books for the kids. I asked help for this lady. She had no intention for helping at all. She asked me to find someone else and not even make a eye contact while talking to me.

It’s a nice place to shop but I’ve noticed that the workers tend to get harassed by rude costumers often and it doesn’t seem as though the managers do anything about it.

This was my first visit to Indigo store ever in Canada. First impression, just loved it. So well organized and luring stuff everywhere. I went there to pick up my online order and it was smooth process. Executive over there quickly brought the item to me and also helped me to gift wrap it for free.yey Would surely visit again to buy some stuff.

I walked in and immediately saw the latest Miriam Toews book. Bought it and a bunch of kids books. Great time was had.

This place has rich learning resources that help people find their best icon spend hours in there. From the books to the candles it's just amazing

Lots of amazing selection. Difficult to find staff for help. Was very busy. Enjoying going but it's difficult when trying to checkout. Depending on when you go can be a zoo. Store is massive, Coffee Shop upstairs and huge children's section.

Staff was friendly for the most part, and the store was very organized despite how busy it was. One employee I asked for help was pretty rude and did not want to answer my questions about online vs.in store pricing, which was pretty frustrating given the online price was $10 cheaper.

Checked out the children's section on the second floor. They had an amazing variety of children's books. Would highly recommend checking it out!

Clean store, staff could use some work. No one knew if the store carried magnets. Ended up finding them by the cash register myself. Also, seems like the store manager was following my little sister & I around like we were going to steal something. By reading through the other comments, discrimination isn't an uncommon practice at this store.

Typical indigo that's on the larger side. It's 2 floors and definitely has a large selection. The Starbucks is closed and from what I was told, will not be returning.

Smaller than other counterparts, a lot more spaced out and not the most obvious location for someone new to the mall. Indigo continues to overprice their books and merchandise. Nothing new here, nothing that makes it stand out, and it is a lot less crowded than other locations.

Been going here for years, it's great. Only issue was they had no one monitoring the line up and people were not distancing for Covid-19.

Wasn't too crowded. Didn't have a great selection of home stuff. Was limited to certain brands. Stand alone Indigo stores have a much better variety.

Indigo located inside Yorkdale Mall with an outside entrance. Massive selection of books with a Starbucks located inside the second floor.

My daughter and I visited the American Girl section of the store for the first time in 17 months today! The American Girl speciality section of the store was well organized and stocked, and just fun to explore. Sarah literally worked miracles by giving two of her dolls incredible hairstyles we selected! Thank you for providing such kind, patient, and phenomenal service Sarah! Can’t wait to come back with friends!

They rearranged the whole store since I've last visited, but the employees are very friendly and very helpful.

I was struggling with the online store and the cashier went out of her way to see if there was any way she could fix things for me. Unfortunately there was only so much they could do and their solutions meant for me to come back another day. But they were so kind and did their best, which I appreciate.

The cashier also refered to me with Gender Neutral pronouns which really made me feel good. It was very much a relief.

Very big bookstore and carried a lot of variety of books in the store. Good to bringing kids to shop for their books of interest.

LOVE this indigo. Always has a ton of stuff for me to browse and the staff are super knowledgeable with their book recommendations.

You cannot ask for a better place to be. You will be sorrounded by professional, friendly staff and of course a big store full of boooooks.
I purchased my e-book reader from there and I love it. It has helped me to increase my average reading time tenfold.
Definitely a must when you visit beautifullllll Yorkdale.

P. S. Yes they have a little starbucks on the 2nd floor.

One of my favourite places to visit. The store is very cozy and carries a wonderful selection of books, home goods, stationary and tech products.

Customer service is exceptional, service reps are very polite.ambience is peaceful.enjoyed my shopping experience.

Customer support staff and very friendly. It is also possible to find any book with the help of computers in bookstore.

Out of all the Indigo stores I’ve been to this is my favourite. The next being the one at the Eaton’s center. Everything is arranged nicely and well planned. It’s a great place for gifts, books and coffee. I always find this location very calming. One can easily chill and lose time here. The staff are knowledgeable and a great source for recommendations.

Two floors to store. There is an elevator at back of one is needed. Starbucks present. Children interest area, cards, magazines, small electronics area, and chairs are available to sit.

Very good place for shopping, nice staff and convenient location. Some items appear to be pricey.

Usually has a much shorter line compared to the other two locations within Yorkdale. And it's actually not very difficult to get a seating spot most of the time.

Great place to spend time if you you have time to spare. I can stay Here for days lol. Organised, clean, staff are polite and helpful.

Wide variety of selection. Starbucks, fiction, magazines, novels and kiddie section on the second floor. First floor has the electronics, gifts section and some other miscellaneous items.

Great place to relax. Very chill place to work or read. Lots of chairs around the store and with Starbucks within the store it provides fast internet for work or charging ports. Employees are also very nice and helpful when it comes to finding things around the store. A wide variety of books for all ages and preferences. Highly recommend for a chill place!

I had a very pleasant experience. I was looking for a specific item and the attentiveness I was given by staff to help me find it was done with a lot of care. I really appreciated it:)

It's just a regular favorite. Nice place to spend time and find unique products you might not find anywhere.

Since it's inside the book store, you can enjoy reading a book while reading! (Just make sure to take responsibility and do the right thing if ever you do damage the book or any item accidentally from spills and food stains)

I like this indigo. Lots of selection apart from books e.g. Glasses, electronics. My rating was for the book selection.

When you need any book you can come here and get it, has great space for kids and the staff are friendly and helpful!
